Chapter 62

It's been a crazy last couple of days, so far the only one arrested is Achia, but she's not talking. Can and Sanem decided to go to work and try to make things as normal as possible.

CAN: "Sanem, let's sit on the couch it will be more comfortable for you, you still look tired."

Can had Sanem lay on the couch with her feet up,

Can is massaging her legs and feet.

SANEM: "awww Can, I'm so relaxed right now, the way you're massaging my feet, thank you."

Then he starts massaging her calves and her thighs.

She starts giggling. "Can bey, is this part of the job?  If it is I'll work here forever." Starts giggling.

CAN: "Bebek, it's, only for you, and believe me it comes with a lot more benefits." He gets up and kisses her. There's a knock on the door, and Ceyda barges in, Sanem just rolls her eyes. She try's to hug Can and kiss him, and looks sideways at Sanem. But Can steps back.

CEYDA: "I heard what happened, I just want to see if you need anything, did you find out who stole the account." Sanem gets up and looks at her and Can grabs her and brings her close to him and kisses her hand,

CAN: " Actually yes, it's being taken care of as we speak."

CEYDA: "good I'm glad, because I don't want take my account away from you. I trust you Can." And she smiles and rubs his arm. Sanem is just staring at her she knows there is something else she wants to say.

SANEM: "what is it Ceyda, what's on your mind?"

CEYDA: "well you shouldn't have given your scent away Sanem, you're the cause of this, and I'm sure Can knows this." She looks at Can and smiles, Can and Sanem are getting angry.

SANEM: "actually Ceyda my scent was stollen from me, but you already know that, and so does my Can, but if you want to go with another agency go ahead we don't care!"

CAN: "I agree with Sanem, I don't need or want your account, first of all you have no clue what happened only through gossip, so there is the door you can leave and you don't have to come back, if you decide to stay it will only be business that's it. Go think about what I told you and decide, because this,  what you are doing trying to stir trouble between sanem and I won't work, do I make myself clear!" Ceyda was surprised with Can, she can't understand why he can't see that Sanem is not for him. But she has no choice.

CEYDA: "fine, I was just worried about you Can, I care about you very much, but I know what's best for my business. See you at the launch!" She walks out not happy, but still thinks that Can will figure out that they belong together! (Delusional Ceyda)

Sanem looks at Can and wraps her arms around his neck.

SANEM: "You know my love, when get like that I feel like I'm loosing control", she kisses his neck. He smiles grabs her roughly from the waist and kisses her.

CAN: "if you want we can do something about it , we can leave early and go to the hut." She starts giggling

SANEM: "later handsome you still have a couple of  appointments".  He smiles and kisses her and says okay my love, actually we should wait a couple more days until you are better. They both agreed.

The rest of the afternoon was going fine.  Most of the accounts stayed with the agency, thanks to Mr McKinnon.

There was a knock on the door and Metin walks in.

CAN: "Metin, how are you, any news?" Metin hugs Sanem and Can and gets down to business.

METIN: "well we got Aylin, the police went to her house they caught her putting suitcases in her car she was trying to leave, they found airline tickets to England."

SANEM: "I guess she was trying to meet up with Polen."

METIN: "yes that's what it seems like "

CAN: "so now what? Anything on Fabri?"

METIN: "not yet, Aylin claims that she doesn't know where he is. The police are still interrogating her. But she's being quiet too, she got a lawyer. But with her we might have to do a plea deal may be a lesser sentence so we can get more information out of her,  What do you guys think, but with restrictions that she would have to leave Istanbul and never come near you again.

Can looked at Sanem, "what do you think sanem?"

SANEM: "I think it's a good idea, I just want this to end."

METIN: "I think so too, but she will not go free completely, she will still have a record, and finding another advertising job will be impossible for her!"

SAMEN: "what about Achia, nothing, does she know I lost mine and Can's baby because of her!" Sanem's eyes filled with tears, Can  grabbed her hand and kissed it.

METIN: "She doesn't know yet, I was actually hoping you would tell her, maybe she will feel guilty and talk."

Sanem looks at Can. Can didn't like the idea, Sanem suffered enough, she doesn't need to see Achia.

CAN; " Metin, I think she suffered enough don't you think seeing Achia again might be too hard on Sanem."

Sanem looks at Can and says I want to do it if it helps bring Fabri down, I'm willing to do it as long as you're with me.

CAN: "Sanem please, I don't think it's a good idea."

SANEM: " Can, I want this mess cleaned up our wedding is in less than two weeks, I want to start off with a clean slate, please." Can looks at her and smiles and caresses her cheek. Metin is looking at both of them and is so happy to see Can in love, he's never seen him with anyone like this before.

Can nods okay, and Sanem smiles and kisses his cheek.

SANEM: " so when can I see her?"

METIN: "tomorrow morning, around 10:30, I will meet you both at the police station."

The three agreed, Metin left and Can and Sanem just sat there quietly.

CAN: "bebek are you okay?"

SANEM: "I think I am, you know Can I am fine! I just want this done. I want everyone to be right where they belong in prison!" Can smiles and kisses her

CAN: "I'm so proud of you sweetheart, and I will be right next to you, okay?" She nodded yes and they got back to work.

Ela called Sanem and told her that she will be released tomorrow afternoon after the doctors give her the all clear.

SANEM; "that's great news Ela, so tomorrow we will bring you to our house, but we have to be very careful that no one follows us. How is your uncle.?"

ELA: "everyday a little better, he will probably be in for another week."

SANEM: "okay, I'm glad he's feeling better.  See you tomorrow afternoon." They hung up, Can noticed Sanem was looking tired.

CAN: "how about if we go home and rest, tomorrow is a big day, confronting Achia, are you still okay going."

SANEM: "I am, you know what, I'm not even worried, because deep down whether she talks or not she's still screwed, you know Can I want to see her face when she finds out that because of her I lost our baby, will she even feel guilty, probably not."

CAN: "I hate to say it but I doubt that she will even care. She seems like a heartless person, unfortunately, she just ruined her life. Can takes her by the hand and says "Come let's go get something to eat, and then we will go home so you can rest."

The next morning everyone was sitting at the breakfast table, they were all worried about today about Sanem.

SANEM: "please everyone, don't look at me like that, I'm a lot stronger than you all think."Leyla starts giggling. She wants to lighten the mood.

LEYLA: "yes, I will vouch for Sanem, her head is a lot harder than we think, after all those falls and hitting her head nothing has fallen out!" Everyone starts laughing including Sanem.

SANEM: "see Leyla is right, ( she knocks on her head)

See, everything is still there!"

Can Hugs her and kisses her head. "I will vouch for her, and knocks on her head. She starts laughing.

SANEM: "okay Can Divit are you ready to go meet with evil Achia?"

CAN: "I am, let's get this over with"

Can and Sanem got to the police station and met with Metin first.

METIN: "Sanem, are you okay, do you still want to do this?"

SANEM: "yes, I do, hopefully she has some heart somewhere in her body, and she tells us everything and where Fabri is."

Can squeezes her hand and kisses it. Metin and a police officer led them into the interrogation room. They sat down and waited for Achia, and her lawyer.

Sanem was feeling nervous but confident at the same time.

They see the door open and Achia walks in with her orange jumpsuit on. Achia looks at Sanem with no emotion and then at Can. No emotion. Like a blank look in her eyes.

METIN: "Achia do you know why Sanem is here? She has something to tell you?" Achia just sat there with no emotion she didn't say a word, she just looked at Sanem.

SANEM: : Achia, do you have any idea what you have done with your obsession with Can, you killed our baby!!" Sanem had tears in her eyes and so did Can.

"You pushed me and I fell and I lost our baby. You are nothing but a spoiled rich girl who can't accept loosing, because all your life you had everything handed to you. But now look at you, you're nothing, no amount of money can save you" Achia had tears in her eyes. "Achia are you happy now? Did you even think to see if I was okay after you pushed me and I fell, no because you didn't care, you are a selfish ruthless woman who has no respect for human life." Achia put her head down and tears were running down her cheeks.

ACHIA: "Sanem, Can, I'm so sorry, I truly never meant to push you down the steps, it really was an accident. I am so sorry that you lost your baby, I had no idea. When I saw you fall I panicked and ran out." She paused and took a deep breath. Sanem, you are right about everything you said about me , I was wrong, and I should have never gotten involved with Fabri. With me he just added fuel to the fire. He pushed me even more to go after Can because he wants you, he's obsessed with you and your scent. But please believe me, (she started crying) I didn't mean to push you, it truly was an accident. I'm so sorry for your loss. Truly, I am."

SANEM: "believe it or not, I believe that you are sorry, but right now I can't forgive you. But I want you to tell the police everything that has to do with Fabri, and if you know where he's hiding to tell them, please. He's a dangerous man, he has hurt a lot of people not just me and Can." Achia tearing and nodding her head yes.

ACHIA: "I will tell them everything, but one thing, Ela is innocent she was forced into this, she is young and innocent and desperate at the time."

SANEM: "well Achia, Ela and her uncle were badly beaten, her uncle is in the hospital on a ventilator and Ela, is unrecognizable from being bet up so bad, and all because of you and Fabri." Achia just started crying and shaking. Her lawyer put his hand on her hand to help her calm down.

CAN: "do you know where Fabri is?, he needs to pay!" Can was very angry, but he's so proud of Sanem, I don't know how she's doing it, but she's very calm. He takes her hand and kisses it.

ACHIA: "I really don't know, I know that he has a lot of private homes here in turkey, but I don't know where he is, the only thing I know is that Sanem needs to be careful, he wants you Sanem, he thinks he's in love with you." Sanem got a little nervous, she just wants this over with.

METIN: "does he have a favorite spot Achia, somewhere that he likes to visit more often."

Achia thought for a minute.

ACHIA: "I know he loves the mountains, he always said that's where he relaxes the most, I know he has a house there, but I don't know where."

Metin got up to talk to the detective privately and Achia just kept her head down and kept tearing.

Sanem looked at her she actually felt bad for her, but she can't forgive her right now. She's so angry with her!

SANEM: "Achia look at me!"'Achia looks up at Sanem.

I actually almost feel sorry for you, believe it or not! Because you ruined your life, you are a smart pretty young woman and because of your obsession with Can, and because you don't like to loose, plus you thought you were better than everyone else especially me, because of were I came from. Are you happy now, the orange suit doesn't look that good on you!" And she walks out.

CAN: "Achia, all I can say is Sanem is to good, but I am not, I want you to pay for what you did. You don't deserve anything less, I have no pity for you, have a nice life!" And he walks out. Achia just sat there crying and watched them both leave.

CAN: "Bebek, are you okay?"she had tears in her eyes.

SANEM: "actually Can I am, it felt good to tell her what I thought. The only thing that hurts the most is losing the baby, I didn't even get a chance to tell you about the baby." He hugs her tightly and kisses her head.

CAN: "I know Bebek, but trust me, my swimmers are very active and strong we will have another one in no time." She starts giggling, "I'm sure we will " he kisses her and they decided just to go home and relax until it's time to pick up Ela. "Soon everything will fall into place my love. Love you!" "Love you too"
