Chapter 58

Sanem felt more rested after she woke up from her nap. Can was still holding her, and she loved it, she just cuddled more into him and kissed his neck.

CAN: "bebek, how do you feel, are you okay? Any pain?"

SANEM: "I'm okay, I feel rested, not much pain, I will be okay. Are you okay, I'm worried about you ."

CAN: "don't worry about me, I'm fine" he looks at her and kisses her. "I'm with you, you're my strength Sanem," she smiles softly " and you are mine my love."

CAN:" are you hungry? We have a feast out there."

She starts giggling.

SANEM: "probably to feed an army, but yes I am hungry." He tries to pick her up but she stops him. "Can I can walk, just hold my hand and I will be fine."

CAN: "I love carrying you, you're so light" she starts giggling.

SANEM: "come on my love I'm hungry let's go eat before everyone gets here."

After dinner, everyone gathered in the family room, Sanem was looking at her family and tears were forming in her eyes. Leyla and Mevcabi see her and go over to her to see if she's okay.

MEVCABI: "child, what's wrong, are you in pain, why the tears?"

SANEM: "I just feel so blessed, too have you all here, I don't know what I would do without you all" Leyla and Mevcabi hugged her.

LEYLA: "the funny thing is you're stuck with us, whether you want us or not." She starts giggling, "believe me, I want, especially now."

The door bell rings and it's Metin and Derin. Derin goes and hugs Sanem, and Metin kneels down and takes her hand, he has a soft spot for Sanem, she has been through so much, he considers her a sister.

METIN: "Sanem, how do you feel?"

SANEM: "thank god, I'm okay" she starts crying "the only thing, (she hesitated) I'm sure Can told you is that I lost our baby." Derin had tears in her eyes and hugs her and Metin squeezes her hand.

METIN: " Sanem, it will be okay, and don't worry, I will make them pay, I promise you" Sanem smiled and thanked him.  Metin sat next to Can and started to tell them what he knows so far. "So we got the tapes and it definitely shows Achia instigating it, Sanem tried to go around her and Achia grabbed her arm, there were words exchanged and Sanem tried to push Achia away from her but Achia had the upper hand. She pushed Sanem hard and she fell backwards."

The women had tears rolling down their cheeks.

Can, Emre and Aziz were pissed, they want Achia and Fabri to pay. Metin turned and looked at the three of them. "Listen you three  I know what you are thinking, but we have to do this the legal way because if you screw this up they won't get what they deserve. Do the three of you understand?" And then he looks at Can, "do you understand Can, let me handle it, Metin knows Can's temper , he's definitely a hot head! Sanem was looking at them and smiling. Then she starts giggling because she sees the look on their faces, anger and then trying to look innocent towards Metin , because he just scolded them like children. Can, Emre and Aziz are looking at Sanem wondering why she is giggling.

SANEM: "don't look at me like that, I know what you're thinking and what you want to do to them, but you won't, Metin is right. (She giggles again) who would have thought that I have three body guards wanting to look out from me."

They smiled and went over and hugged her.

CAN: "we can't help it Sanem, us Divit men are very protective of our women." She smiled softly

SANEM: "I know, and I truly feel blessed with all this love, I really do, but I need you all here with me, not out there getting yourself in trouble, let the detective and police take care of everything." They agreed. Not happy but agreed.

METIN: "okay, so there is a warrant out for Achia's arrest, she took off after the fall, we can't find her as of now. But she's still in the city, airports and busses even taxis and marinas, have been notified, she will be caught soon, it's only a matter of time. Fabri, it's a little more difficult, we have to prove that he stole your scent and the add."

CAN: "okay, have you tried contacting him,?"

METIN: "not yet, I don't want to scare him off, but he is being followed, and we are checking him out on other illegal activities hopefully he was involved in, if we find enough evidence, he will definitely be going away for a long time."

The door bell rings, Miriban answered and it was Mr and Mrs McKinnon. Mrs McKinnon goes straight to Sanem.

MRS MCKINNON: "Sanem deer are you okay, I heard what happened, I'm so sorry." Sanem loves Mrs McKinnon she's such a sweet lady.

SANEM; "I am, I mean I will be okay, thank you for coming, I'm very happy to see you both."

MRS MCKINNON: " Max wanted to wait, but I had to come and see you for my self, Sanem Can and you entered our hearts and your family's, we feel like we are part of the family too." Sanem smiled and hugs her tightly, and calls Mr McKinnon over to her too and she hugs him too.

SANEM: " Mr McKinnon, your wife is right, we all feel the same, we are family, you are always welcome.!"

MR MCKINNON: "Thank you dear, you are so much like my wife, I think that's why I have a soft spot for you. Anyway, I'm glad you feel okay, any news on how this happened?" Can was worried that McKinnon would be angry when he finds out about his campaign being stolen.

CAN : "Mr McKinnon, Fabri somehow stole Sanem's private scent,  (he hesitated) and your campaign and used it towards Sanem's scent at the launch."

McKinnon was shocked but not surprised, he heard how Fabri is a ruthless business man, and this just proves it. Can, Emre and Aziz are watching him closely waiting for him to explode. Because he loved the campaign they came up with, they are also worried that he might sue them.

MR MCKINNON: " well I have to say I'm disappointed, I loved what you came up with, but with Fabri, I'm not surprised, I've heard that he's ruthless and this just proves it. ( He turns and looks at the three men) but, I am not angry, I will not sue you, you just have to come up with another campaign and I have no doubt in my mind that it will be better than the first one!!" McKinnon smiled and shook their hands and Can, Emre and Aziz breathed a sigh of relief.

AZIZ: " Thank you Max, for understanding"

MCKINNON: " you're welcome, I will come in, probably on Wednesday and we can start from scratch. I'm sure it will be a great one. now how about a scotch and let the woman relax together for a while."

They all agreed, Sanem was enjoying this girl time, it was keeping her mind off the miscarriage. Every so often her mind would wander, what it would have been like with the baby, she can just picture Can with a little girl in his arms, daddy's little girl.

Miriban noticed Sanem was quiet, she knew what she was thinking, it was about the miscarriage. She goes over and puts her arms around her and kisses her head.

MIRIBAN: "Sanem dear, I know what you are thinking, it's about the baby isn't it?" She smiled and nodded and tears were rolling down her face.

The woman all noticed Sanem and went and sat close to her. "Sanem all I can say is, you will be okay and you will have plenty of babies, I promise you this. The doctor said everything is fine. No damage from the fall.

You know I had a miscarriage too" Sanem looked at her. "Really?" "Yes dear, it was when I was dating Aziz, I lost it when I left. I got into a car accident and that's when I lost it." Sanem was surprised. " but why didn't you have any children then?" Because when we got married I was older, and I had to raise Can and Emre, it was hard at the beginning with the two of them, it was hard for them to trust me, after their mother left. She was never a loving mother, and I had to show them that I truly did love them and that I was happy to be their mother. It took awhile but we got there, and then I was older and we decided not to have anymore just to focus on the boys and it worked great for us. I love them like they were my own, and I think they feel the same."

SANEM: "oh they do, they love you like you are their biological mother." Leyla agreed

LEYLA: "when they talk about you it's always my Annem, not Miriban." Miriban smiled she loved that they feel that way about her, tears started forming in her eyes.

MIRIBAN: "Sanem, it will be fine, in a month you will be married, take that time together, enjoy yourselves, this the best time for a young couple. This time is you and Can."

MRS MCKINNON: "I agree dear, you will have more children, I also had two miscarriages, one after my first and one after my second, but I still could of had more children, but we were content with the two. Everything will work out the way it's supposed to."

Sanem felt blessed having these women supporting her. It will be okay, we will get through this together. She looks over at Can and he looks at her, they give each other the sweetest smile, they both know deep down inside everything will be okay. They whisper to each I love you.

Metin receives a phone call from his detective,

METIN: "any news what did you find out?"

DETECTIVE: "I went to Fabri's office, he was there supposedly working, he wasn't surprised to see me, it was like he was expecting me. I accused him of stealing Sanem's scent. Of course he denies it. Then he pulls out a contract with her signature on it, I'm sending you a picture so you can see it."

METIN: "how the hell did he get her signature?"

He looks at the picture and shows Can and Sanem, Sanem had tears in her eyes, she couldn't believe it, it was her signature, but how.?

DETECTIVE: "I will tell you this Metin he is ruthless, he knows what he wants,  and when he wants something he will do anything to get it."

METIN: "I agree, keep after him, keep digging, something has to come out somewhere."

They hung up and looked at Sanem.

METIN: "Sanem, please don't cry, I know somehow you were fooled, can you think of anything, did you sign any papers with him for anything at all."

Can was hugging her

SANEM: "no, nothing, I wasn't even in the same room with him without Can being with me, he always rubbed  the wrong way."

METIN: "okay, please Sanem try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done, but even the smartest criminals screw up somewhere, I promise you we will get him and put him away for a long time."

Sanem smiled

SANEM: "thank you Metin, I trust you, I know you will do everything you can."

Everyone went home, Can and Sanem went to bed, they layed there holding each other and talking about everything that's happened.

CAN: " Sanem, can you think of anything, that you might of signed, anything at all."

SANEM: "nothing, maybe he's at good at forging people's names or maybe he has a professional, I have no idea"

CAN: "don't worry Bebek, he can't do anything anyway, Metin got a court order, he can't release it until everything is cleared up, if I know Metin he will make his life a living hell, but according to the law , he always plays by the rules."  Sanem start giggling

SANEM: "like you Can Divit, you always play by the rules don't you." He looks at her and laughs

CAN: "sometimes Sanem Aydin, rules are made to be broken, sometimes that's the only way to get things done."

SANEM: " according to who, the rule book according to Can Divit, you should start selling copies, I have a great publisher if you need one."

Can starts laughing "I think that's a great idea, don't be surprised if it becomes a number one best seller, there's alot of people that think like me."

SANEM: "I have no doubt, my love."

CAN: "You need to rest, tomorrow is Sunday, we will spend the day relaxing."

SANEM: "sounds good to me, good night my prince."

CAN: "good night princess, love you."

SANEM: "love you too!" Sanem fell asleep immediately, but Can was up most of the night thinking about everything. How the hell did he get her signature. And the obsession Fabri has with Sanem, the way he looks at her, very perverse. Fabri you will get yours, I just hope I'm there to see it!!!
