Chapter 42

METIN: hey Can, listen my detective spotted Ahmet, by the girls home and the orphanage"

CAN: " why would he be around there that strange.

Actually I was on my way back there, I wanted to see maybe if Sanem might have returned to the orphanage or the home.

METIN: "why do you think she would go there?"

CAN : "because both of those places are special to her, especially with the orphanage, plus I don't know what it is but something keeps telling me to go check, it's weird I kind of feel Sanem close. It's probably nothing but it doesn't hurt to check."

METIN: "I agree, okay let me know if she's back, because I have a feeling that he might go after her."

CAN: " okay, thanks brother."

Sanem was helping the boys, and Define decided to lock the door and then call Can.

I know Sanem doesn't want me to call anyone but I'm worried about her. She looks exhausted. She went to lock the door and she sees a man standing at the door. Thinking nothing of it she opens the door slowly and says, "can I help you, are you looking for something or someone?"

He pushes himself in quickly and grabs Define and punches her and knocks her out. "Yeh, I'm looking for someone Sanem." Ahmet went looking for Sanem he checked several rooms until he heard voices coming from a room that looked like a lounge area.  He looks in and sees Sanem with two boys.

AHMET: gotcha, now you're mine."

He walks in and Aslan sees him, walks up to him, wondering who he is, he doesn't like the look on this man's face."

ASLAN: " Can I help you sir, it's after hours, visitors aren't allowed at this time."

AHMET: " oh I'm not a visitor, I came for one thing and one thing only, and I'm looking right at her."

Aslan just looked at him confused. Is he talking about Sanem, who is this guy.

Sanem turned around to see who Aslan is talking to. She's shocked to see Ahmet standing there.

SANEM: "Ahmet, what are you doing here, get out of here."

AHMET: "I'm looking for you, you know you were hard to find, until your appearance with your body guard at the fundraiser. And then your book launch, you made it easy. You're quite the celebrity. And today, did you think I wouldn't recognize you with that hoodie. Now you're coming with me we have some business to take care of together, you owe me."

The boys were looking at him confused but worried about Sanem, they didn't like the way he was looking at her.  The boys stood in front of Sanem to protect her.

AHMET: "aww how sweet, you have yourself two body guards but they won't stop me, get out of the way!!"

And he pulls out a knife.

Sanem got scared for the boys. She went and stood In front of them. They tried to push her back but she wouldn't move.

SANEM: "boys, this is about me not you, it's okay don't worry."

AHMET: let's get going, I don't have time to waste!!"

Sanem noticed that he was drunk, she needs to be extra careful he seems more aggressive. (Okay breathe Sanem keep calm)

SANEM: " okay, I just want to talk to the boys, so they won't be scared."

She turns quickly to Baris and Aslan, hands her cell phone to Baris, without Ahmet noticing.

SANEM: " Baris , Aslan, it's my birthday today, call Metin for me and tell him not to come today, I will see him tomorrow."And she looks down at the phone. The boys understand what she was saying, her birthday is her code and this Metin will figure out what to do."

Ahmet was getting irritated, he grabs her by the arm and pulls her towards him and is pointing the knife to her abdomen."

"Ahmet, calm down I'm coming. Boys don't worry everything will be okay and she nods her head at them.

They understood, Sanem left with Ahmet.

ASLAN: Baris I'm going to follow them, I'll call this Metin, I'm going to turn on my location and You get Define to turn on hers to follow Sanem's phone." The boys agreed and Aslan ran out and found Ahmet pulling Sanem down the street. He called Metin, and told him everything that happened, Metin told him to add him to the location to track him, but to stay far away so he doesn't get hurt, Aslan agreed.

Can was walking up the steps at the orphanage, he walks in the door and sees Define on the ground. He goes over to help her, as  she starts coming around. And then he sees Baris coming to look for Define. Can picks up Define and takes her to the couch.

CAN: Define what happened?" Can sees Baris. "Baris, what happened?"

BARIS: "Can, ( Baris was scared Can could see it) Sanem was here, and this man, I think his name was Ahmet, yes Ahmet, came in and said he was looking for her and said that she ows him." Can was trying to sort out everything in his head.

CAN: " where did they go?" First Baris grabbed Define and accepted the location."

BARIS: " I don't know he had a knife and was pointing at Sanem, Can this guy looked nasty I'm very worried about Sanem. But Sanem before she left, she gave us her phone and had us call Metin, and Aslan then took her phone and is following them, this Metin guy and now Defines phone is tracking were Aslan is."

That's my girl, she's so damn smart, Can took Defines phone to see were there headed.

CAN: Baris, take care of Define, I'm going to bring back Samen. Don't worry everything will be okay."

He could see Baris was very worried. " Baris, the both of you along with Sanem were very smart. Trust me everything will be ok " he hugged Baris quickly and ran out.  He's looking at the GPS and noticed they were at the club. On the way there, he called Metin.

CAN: "Metin, I know you know what's happening, he has a knife, when you get there with the police no sirens, he might panic and hurt her."

METIN: "already on it brother! Listen Can don't run in there, let the police do what they have to do okay, I know you're worried about Sanem, but they're experienced in these things."

CAN: " I know, but if I feel that there's no time, I have to Metin. I can't let anything happen to her"

METIN: "I know brother, just be careful" they hung up.

Can was almost at the club, when he saw Aslan standing out side, Aslan saw Can and ran up to him, and hugged him.

CAN:" your a brave boy Aslan, I'm proud of you, he didn't see you following him did he"

ASLAN: no Can, I hear voices in this Area," they walked over by where the bar would have been.

CAN: "Aslan, go back the police will be here soon, I don't want anything to happen to you, and I know Sanem feels the same way."

ASLAN: " I can't leave, I have to stay for Sanem, but Can I promise I won't get in the way." Can agreed but he wasn't happy.

Can was walking around the building to see if there was an opening, he found a door that wasn't boarded up and it seemed like it was the basement.

CAN: "Aslan, I'm going through here it's the basement, when Metin and the police get here, let them know who you are and where I went in from." Aslan had tears in his, Can grabs him and says. " everything will be okay, don't worry, go wait for Metin at the end of the parking lot. Aslan agrees and Can went through the basement door.

SANEM: "what is your problem Ahmet, I didn't do anything to you.?

AHMET: well actually you did, you had that damn lawyer of yours dig into my stuff."

SANEM: " and how do you know it was me, you know a lot of people hate you not just me, you weren't nice to anyone, as long as your pockets are full that's the only thing that mattered to you."

AHMET: shut up, you and your boyfriend, and his lawyer caused these problems for me."

SANEM: " stop blaming everyone else, you are the only one to blame for your own actions!!" Now let me get out of here, or I will start screaming!!"

Ahmet went over and smacked her across the face,

"I told you to shut up!! Didn't you learn with the fire.

SANEM: " I can't believe you!! Do you know you almost killed my uncle he was in the store when you started the fire "

AHMET: "well that was a surprise to me too, what ever, another Aydin out of the way."

Sanem just looks at him, she has tears in her eyes. And she's shaking.

SANEM: "what do you mean, another Aydin?"

He turns and starts laughing. And says

AHMET: " who would have thought that I would cross paths with another Aydin, after all these years!" Sanem looked at him confused, what is he talking about.

SANEM: " what are you talking about, you're messed up." She tried to get up and he slaps her again and slammed her up against the bar.

AHMET: " well Sanem Aydin, remember that accident your parents were killed in it was me that hit them"

Sanem was in shock, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Can also heard what he said, he was shocked, after all these years, she finds out who killed her parents, poor Sanem" Sanem started crying, she started screaming at him. And she tries to jump on him to hit him, but he was too strong and threw her on the ground.

SANEM: "why (she asked sobbing) "why didn't you try to help them, maybe they would of lived"

AHMET: "I couldn't take the chance of getting caught, I didn't want to go to jail. Plus they were probably dead anyway." And he just shrugs his shoulders.   Sanem just kept sobbing, she couldn't believe what he was saying. How can anyone be so heartless.

SANEM: " you're a sick person, what is wrong with you, do care about anyone other than yourself ?" He Yells out to her looking right into her eyes with anger.

AHMET: " I don't need anyone else, I'm fine the way I am!! Now get the Hell up there's a cliff with your name on it, or I can kill you right now!!" Sanem tried to get up to run and he grabs her and punches her lower back, and she drops to her knees in pain. Can is watching this, he's going crazy, I have to get in there somehow. Can looks in to see Sanem, she sees Can but doesn't say anything, he puts his finger to his mouth so she can be quiet. She nods her head one time. She keeps trying to talk to Ahmet so he doesn't notice Can.

Can finds a chair and throws it towards the bar, Ahmet turns to look, and Sanem gets up and starts running, Ahmet pulls out a gun and points it at Sanem, Can comes from behind him and jumps him. They start wrestling on the ground, Sanem turns back to look at Can, when the police come in with Metin, all of a sudden there's a gunshot, and Can and Ahmet stop wrestling. She runs over to Can, he's rolls off of Ahmet , and looks up at Sanem.

SANEM: Can, are you hurt? ( she's crying and panicking she drops to her knees and caresses his cheek)

CAN: I'm okay, but I don't think Ahmet is." They look over at Ahmet, he was shot in the shoulder. Can looked at Sanem , and caresses her cheek.  Sanem smiles at Can. And he kisses her.

METIN: Can, are you okay? Man what were you thinking? He could have killed you."

CAN: "I'm fine Metin, I couldn't take it anymore, Sanem are you okay, did he hurt you?"

SANEM:" I'm okay now that you're here." He sits up and takes her in his arms, and looks in her eyes and says "I love you Sanem Aydin"

"And I love you Can Divit"and he kisses her again.

METIN: Sanem did you know he had a gun?, Aslan told me had a knife."

SANEM: "no, when he took me it was a knife, and now when I tried to run that's when he pulled it out"

METIN: "well the important thing is that its over, and he will be going away for a long time, he has a lot of charges against him, and we're adding a new one murder. We heard everything."

SANEM: thank you Metin for everything (she has tears in her eyes) and they hugged each other.

METIN: Sanem there's someone outside waiting to see you."  When Aslan saw Sanem coming out he ran over and hugged her and then hugged Can. He had tears in his eyes, he was so happy that they were both okay.

ASLAN: Sanem, Can, I'm so happy you are okay, I was so worried."

CAN: " we're fine Aslan. I'm proud of you Aslan, because of you and Baris we found Sanem, you two were very smart."

Can went on to explain to Sanem how Aslan and Baris used her phone and Defines phone to track her and how Aslan followed her to the club. Sanem was so proud of the boys. She kept hugging Aslan and he was getting embarrassed.

CAN: bebek, lets get you to the hospital, and get you checked out "

SANEM: " I'm fine Can really, I want to go back to the orphanage and thank Baris too, and you said Define was punched by Ahmet, let's go check on her too.

When they got back to the orphanage Baris saw Can and Sanem walk in with Aslan, he ran up to them crying, they grabbed him and hugged him and then pulled Aslan into a group hug.

BARIS: I'm so glad you are all okay, we so worried about you."

SANEM: we're fine Baris, but I have to tell you how proud Can and I are of both of you. Without the two of you it probably would have taken longer for them to find me." (And she thought or I might have been dead by now) they went over and checked on Define, she assured them that she was fine. They stayed for a little while longer and then got up to leave . Can kisses Sanem's hand and says

CAN: "bebek are you ready to go home."she looks up at him and gives him the brightest smile and says

SANEM: "I go where you go, my love!" He grabs her and kisses her and, Aslan, Baris and Define start clapping and whistling. Can was laughing and Sanem got embarrassed.

They waved and said good night and left.
