Chapter 32

Can and Sanem headed into the orphanage to see Bella. They saw her playing in the sand outside, she looked so sweet. They both composed themselves and went outside, when Bella saw them she was so happy, she runs up to them. And of course looks at Can, and says. "Can up" he picks her up and hugs her tightly and starts giving her little tickling kisses and she's just laughing so hard she looks at Sanem and puts out her little hand for her to cuddle with them. Can starts giving both of them tickling kisses and they can't stop laughing. Bella stops laughing and looks at both of them and says, "Bella love Can and Nemi" (Sanem)

Sanem couldn't hold back her tears, Can was wiping her tears away. Bella hugged both of them again and Can and Sanem tried to push their feelings aside, it was hard but they had to, they didn't want Bella to get upset. They played with her all afternoon, of course they played her favorite Beauty and The Beast, and she had Can and Sanem dance with her and sing along with her.  Can decide to go get them some ice cream. And decide to get a lot more for all the kids. Of course Bella got her favorite chocolate, just like Can and Sanem. Bella had chocolate all over herself, Can and Sanem were laughing, they decided to give her a bath and tuck her in. They sat together watching her favorite movie on Can's phone. It was time to put her to bed. They both didn't want to leave her.

SANEM: " Can, this is harder than I thought, I just want to lay next to her and hold her."

CAN: " I feel the same way bebek, but we have to put her to sleep, she's tired and she has a big day tomorrow." Can had tears in his eyes he couldn't believe how this sweet little girl affected him.

They decided to sit next to her, and read to her until she fell asleep. Sanem was singing little lullabies to her while Bella closed her eyes and fell asleep. Both Can and Sanem were full blown crying. They kissed her, walked out of her room and stood outside Bella's door hugging each other.

CAN: " Sanem, listen, Bella is going to be fine. This is truly a good thing for her,  a loving family and a sibling."Can was wiping Sanem's tears away, while talking to her.

SANEM: "'I know, I'm glad you took a lot of pictures of us together. They will be good memories of her, you never know maybe someday she might remember us and want to see us, I would love to see her when she gets older, and see how she's doing and what she's doing."

CAN: "me too bebek" they went to see Anil in his office.

ANIL: Can, Sanem, how was your visit?" He could see the tears in their eyes, he knew this was hard for both of them.

SANEM: " You know, hard, we hated saying goodbye to her, but we know this the best thing for her."

ANIL: "listen, she will be loved and cared for, this family was thoroughly checked out, I'm sure they are going to love her like there own daughter, and she will have a sister."

CAN: "I'm sure you're right Anil, thank you for allowing us to visit with her the whole day, it meant so much to Sanem and I."

ANIL: " listen you two, don't be strangers, these kids love both of you, Can especially you with the boys, they enjoy playing basketball ball with you. You always visit when you're in town."                                                 Sanem looked at Can, she had no idea that Can was a frequent visitor here. She gave him the sweetest smile, and he smiled and caressed her cheek. "And Sanem, the girls love you, the older and the young ones, you are a very good role model for them."

CAN: " You can count on both of us Anil, and if you need anything just ask, I think I might do another fundraiser in the next several months, the orphanage still needs a lot of work, plus I want to donate to the girls home down the street, they are lacking a lot of money and support from the city."

Sanem was so proud of Can, she just kept looking at him with a huge smile on her face.  He pinches her cheek and they walk out hand and hand.

SANEM: " Can, I had no idea you were a frequent visitor here, and we never met, I was always here when I lived in the home, it was so close, that  some of the girls and I would come here and hang out with the kids."

CAN: "I would always come here after I would come back from a photo shoot, I guess I felt a connection with these kids, after my mother left I was devastated, I couldn't believe that she got up and left without looking back. It killed me. My brother and I were hurting we couldn't believe that she wouldn't show up for birthdays or our games. And after the first fundraiser, when I came here with my brother and father, we realized it's not just things these kids need, it's love and understanding and support from other people. So I would come and my brother came with me many times. We played games with the kids and sports. Actually I enjoy it, I love seeing the kids happy."

They were sitting on the bench together holding hands, Can was constantly kissing her hand caressing it.

SANEM: "Can Divit, I just love you so much, I am so blessed that you're in my life"

CAN: " Sanem, my love, I feel the same, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would fall in love, especially with the most beautiful, good hearted woman in the world. Like I said we were destined to be together my love."

SANEM: "I agree, my hunky lover, are you hungry?"

CAN: " I'm hungry for you" she starts giggling and says "first food."

CAN: "okay my sweet, wait here, I'll go get the car"

He kisses her and starts walking towards the street, he turns to look at her and smiles and blows her a kiss.

He goes to cross the street and Sanem sees Can get thrown in the air by a car. Then the car crashes into a wall.  Sanem runs to Can, and starts screaming, " someone please call an ambulance, ( she's screaming and crying she's scared to touch him he's in and out of consciousness. He looks at her, "I love you " and he passes out. " Can, my love, (she kisses his lips) please Can wake up, I love you, don't leave me, I can't live without you, someone please help." The EMT's arrived and started doing CPR on him. Anil came out, and ran over to Sanem, he grabbed her and hugged her.

" Anil, my Can, I can't be without him, please help him,",  she's crying so hard she couldn't breathe, once Can started breathing again, they helped her too, They tried to calm her down. They put Can on the stretcher to take him to the hospital.

SANEM: "please let me ride with him, he needs to hear my voice, so he can fight, please I beg of you."

They let Sanem and Anil ride with them, they didn't want to upset Sanem more.

The whole way to the hospital, Sanem would talk to him and caress his hand and face and give him little kisses. "Can, my love, fight, we have plans you and I. I need you, your family needs you. I'm nothing without you, fight for us." The EMT's were tearing along with Sanem, they were praying for him to fight because they knew his injuries could be life threatening.

Anil was crying holding Sanem, he loved Can, he can't believe what happened, he was in shock.

They got to the hospital, and rushed him into trauma.

Anil called Aziz and told him what happened.

Sanem fell to her knees crying, she was praying for Can, to get well.

"Can my love fight, please dear god, give him strength to fight, I need him. I beg of you save him"

Sanem just sat in the chair rocking back and forth crying when the family rushed in, including her aunt and uncle.

Her aunt and uncle went over to hug her with Leyla.

SANEM: " auntie, why is life so cruel, the love of my life is fighting for his life. This reminds me of the night my parents died and we were all here. I can't auntie, if he doesn't make I want to die." Her aunt and uncle and Leyla hugged each other crying.

Aziz, Emre and Miriban were in shock, they were all crying, trying to comprehend what Anil was telling them. Anil told them what he knew about the accident.

While the doctors were in working on Can. The whole family held hands and prayed for Can. Sanem felt something, she looked up at Leyla, it's like she felt comforted from her mother and father. Leyla knew by the look on her face exactly what she felt. She says to Leyla.

" I feel mom and dad here, I know it's sounds crazy but I feel them, like they're trying to comfort me Leyla."

Leyla was crying hard. Sanem your not crazy, I felt them to." The sister hugged each other and knew

That everything will be okay.
