Chapter 31

The next morning Sanem wakes up cuddled in Can's arms. She might have a headache but she remembers the night before with Can.

Can wakes up and looks into these beautiful big brown eyes, staring at him smiling.

CAN: "good morning my love. How do you feel?"

SANEM: " I feel okay, I have a headache, but other wise not bad."

CAN: " let's get you some aspirin and you can sleep a little longer."

SANEM; " only if you sleep with me, I love lying here with you." He got up, gave her some water and aspirin and they fell asleep for a couple of more hours.

A couple of hours later everyone was up, the girls were sitting outside, laying on the loungers with their eyes closed, while the guys made breakfast.

After breakfast, they sat around the pool, the girls were feeling much better.

Sanem went inside to get her phone, when she turns it on she noticed she has  a message from an unknown number. She opens up the message and there's a picture of Can and Polen in bed together, Polen on top of Can with her underwear on, leaning in to kiss Can.

Sanem can't believe it, how the hell did she get my number, and this picture, look at them. She feels a stabbing in her heart, tears are coming down her cheeks.  I know this is from before us. But it still hurts to see them like this. Even Can looks content, of course he  is, she's beautiful, with her long flowing hair. Uhg Sanem, get it out of your head, he wants you that's what's important.  I know but it still hurts.

She goes outside, and Can notices that something is wrong with her.

CAN: "Sanem do you feel okay, why do you have tears in your eyes? She shows him the photo, Can is shocked , he can't believe what he's seeing.

CAN: "Sanem, I don't know where she got this from, I'm sorry, I didn't even know she took this.  Please ignore it she is sick."

SANEM: "I know Can, I'm not mad at you, really, but it still hurts. Just to think of you two like that, it's stuck in my head." I need to get out of here for a while.

I will talk to you later.

Can is so upset, he hated to see her hurt like that. What the hell is wrong with Polen, she's sick. Can sent the picture to his phone, something didn't seem right.

CAN: " let's go together, I don't want you to be alone, please Sanem.

SANEM: "no Can, I will be fine, I just need time to myself." And she walks out.

AZIZ: "son, what happened, what's going on?"

Can shows them the picture, they can't believe that Polen, would go this far after everything that's happened.  " Can, she's a sick woman"

CAN: " I'm going to call Metin to see if there's anything we can do" Can was looking at the picture.

"I don't remember taking this picture, look my eyes are closed, the whole picture looks off. I'm going to print this out I want to take a closer look at it."

Leyla is trying to call her sister but she keeps declining the call.

LEYLA: "Can, I'm trying to call her but she keeps declining."

CAN: " Leyla, I love Sanem, please believe me."

LEYLA: "Can, I know, I believe you, and I know Sanem knows that you love her too. but any woman would be upset if she received a photo like this from her boyfriends ex." Can, had tears in his eyes, we can't ever have any peace. Can took the picture in his dark room and printed out and enlarged it, he looked at it closely, that bitch, this is photo shopped, I can't believe her. I have to find Sanem.

Can went out and showed it to them, they couldn't believe it.

EMRE: "I can't believe it Can, what the hell, she even knows that you're a professional photographer, what did she think that you wouldn't have figured it out!"

LEYLA: " she knew he would figure it out, but she wanted to plant the seed in Sanem's head, she wanted her to have doubts about their love."

MIRIBAN: "I agree!"

CAN: "I have to find Sanem, I have to tell her the picture is fake."

MIRIBAN: " Can, calm down, first this picture is embedded in her head, even though it's fake it's still going to bother her, trust me I know, I've been through this. But she will be okay, she will come around"

LEYLA: " I agree with Miriban, fake or real you did have that kind of relationship with Polen, and to see the picture just makes it more real to her, even though the picture is a fake. But I know Sanem, she loves you so much Can, that she will eventually block this out of her head. You too will be fine, now try to go find her, and tell her about the picture and talk to her, you two will be fine."

CAN: "where do you think she is, I'm thinking by the water by the university."

LEYLA: "that's what I think, she loves the water it relaxes her, or the home that she lived in, maybe the orphanage, she loves to go and visit them"

Can, rushed of to go find Sanem, he gets a phone call from the head of the orphanage. " Can, it's Anil from the Orphanage."

CAN: " hi yes Anil, what can I do for you?"

ANIL: " Listen Can, I didn't want to call Sanem because I know she will be heartbroken, but Bella's adoption went through, the couple will be picking her up tomorrow. And Bella wants to see you both, she's been asking about you. Can, she's little but she senses a lot, she's a very smart little girl.  Shes's met the family, and she seems good with them.

CAN: " wow, Anil, she will be heartbroken, we both love Bella, she so sweet, actually that sweet little girl brought us together. Okay Anil, We will be there as soon as we can." They hung up and Can headed out to look for Sanem.

Sanem was sitting by the water, wiping tears away. I know Can loves me, and I love him. I know she means nothing to him. But that picture of them being intimate, is so painful.  Girl, get it out of your head, you're the one he loves and wants to make love to not her, if it was her he wanted he would of been with her, not even the sex kept him with her. I know you're right, block it out of your head Sanem, look how he made you feel last night. Sanem was smiling when she heard someone behind her. She turns and sees Kerem.

SANEM: " Kerem, what do you want, are following me?"

KEREM: " no of course not, I came to relax, I enjoy being by the water, but that's when I saw you."

"Are you okay? Are you crying again, did that jerk make you cry."

SANEM: " first don't come near me, don't even try to touch me! And no this has nothing to do with Can and what's wrong with me is none of your business!!"

KEREM: " Sanem, please I don't want to hurt you, I care deeply about you, I think I'm in love with you. Can doesn't deserve you, he's always making you cry."

He goes to grab her hand.

SANEM: " stop, don't touch me and not another word, I love Can and he loves me." Kerem is getting angry he can't stand the she loves Can and not him.

KEREM: "'he's a jerk and a womanizer, he's probably cheating on you and you don't even know it, yeh he charms you and tells you he loves you, but he's lying to you!!"

SANEM: " I'm leaving, I don't need to listen to your lies ". (He went to grab her and she pushed him aside)

"Don't you dare come near me or try to touch me because I will start screaming do you understand!!"

She was so angry!! She practically ran from him.

Kerem just stood there, he was so angry, "Divit you don't deserve her all you do is hurt her, she will be mine, I will make her see the truth!"

Sanem went to the home and visited with the girls there always happy to see her. The supervisor told Sanem that her idea with the high school kids coming here to the home to help the girls with homework is working out great, there doing great in school and are making friends with these students.

SANEM: " I'm so happy to hear that the girls are doing well."  She had a huge smile on her face, she talked a little more with the supervisor and started walking towards the orphanage. She walks up to the entrance and sees Can talking to the supervisor, he looks over at her and starts walking towards her, she just stood there she couldn't move.

CAN: "Sanem, ( he takes her hand and kisses it) are you okay?" He takes her by the hand and they sit on a bench outside of the orphanage.

SANEM: "I'm okay, we can talk later okay Can, I'm not mad just so you know, I love you."

CAN: "I love you too my love, okay we will talk later, but there is something I have to tell you first before you go inside." Sanem was looking at him she could tell he was upset and sad. She touches his cheek.

SANEM: "'Can, what's wrong, did something happen ?"

CAN: "Anil called me ( he hesitated he didn't want to hurt her)

SANEM: " Can, what, tell me"

CAN: " Sanem, Bella's adoption went through, they're picking her up tomorrow.(he's sees the tears in her eyes and pulls her in for a hug)Sanem looks at him scratching his beard.

SANEM: " Can, I'm going to miss her, I love that little girl so much."

CAN: " I know bebek, I feel the same, but you know it's better for her, they have another little girl two years older than Bella, they brought her here several times so they can get used to each other, and the girls do well together. She needs a family Bebek,"

SANEM: " I know, I'm just really going to miss her, you know she played a part in us getting together, when she had us dance together the three of us, when I saw the way you were with her, I fell in love with you even more than what I was, because with you it was love at first sight Can, that night in the club I knew I felt something strong for you and now I know it was love."Tears start rolling down her cheeks.

And Can brings her face close to his and wipes her tears away with his thumbs, and softly kisses her.

CAN: "Sanem, my one and only, I feel exactly the same as you, when I came home that day and saw you with Bella, I knew then,  that what I felt that first night when I looked in those beautiful eyes of yours was love, and watching you dancing and laughing with Bella, made me love you even more."

They both had tears in their eyes, " Can, that first night, all I could think about was you, every where I went, I would hope to see you there. When I saw you again at the gallery, I was so happy, and then Polen came over to you and kissed you, and I thought, wow she's beautiful, forget it Sanem he's already involved with someone, he will never want you with someone like her. And I just left."

CAN: " Bebek, when I saw you at the window I was so happy to see you, I was ready to come to you that night and then she came over to me and when I looked back you were gone , I was devastated. I wanted to look for you, but I didn't know where to begin. I didn't invite Polen that night, I was so pissed when she showed up, I never told her about the fundraiser, Aylin did.  And just so you know, since that night I met you at the club, there hasn't been any other women in my bed or in my life or my thoughts. Not even Polen, that night she went back to her hotel by herself and I went home. You are the only woman I was thinking about Sanem no one else." Sanem was crying. She hugged and kissed him. She starts smiling and says.

SANEM: "You know when I saw you again at the house, when you walked in, I was shocked I couldn't believe it, and you looked so handsome with your hair down, god I couldn't get enough of you, I was so happy to see you again."

CAN: " believe me, I was also shocked, I couldn't believe it was you dancing around with Bella, you looked so beautiful, your hair your beautiful face, so sweet and innocent, Sanem I knew then, that there is no way you're going to get away from me. You are my present and my future Sanem Aydin, you're my Destiny." Sanem was hugging him tightly and says "Destiny my love together forever!"
