Chapter 25

That morning Sanem was up very early, making breakfast for everyone and appetizers for the day.

Miriban noticed how tired she looked, her eyes were swollen from crying, not that Can looked any better.

She finished everything in the kitchen, and started setting the tables outside. Can walked out and saw her, she looked beautiful as always in her short little red dress. He can feel himself getting hot for her already.

But she looked tired and her eyes were swollen, she must have been crying all night. Ah Sanem why do you have to be so stubborn.

Sanem turns around and sees Can, god he looks so handsome in his white shirt, but then again he looks good in anything. Uhg Sanem. You're such an idiot.

He looks so tired, he must of been up all Night. She started walking towards him, there just staring at each other. "Good morning Can." "Good morning Sanem"are you okay, do you need help with anything?" "I'm ok, everything is ready, everyone should be arriving soon, I'm just going to go in and make fresh coffee and tea."

CAN: Sanem, ( she turned to look at him with the saddest eyes, god I just want to hold her and take care of her) let me help you" all of a sudden they hear a shrieking voice, Can and Sanem roll their eyes.

SANEM: "it seems that someone is here for you"

And she walk away

AZRU: " Can, ( she runs up and hugs him and kisses him on the cheek. Sanem is looking at them and is getting angry already, Can is trying to push her away) Can where should we start" he directed her over to make up, and Sanem was going to help with her costumes and anything else she needed."

SANEM: " CeCe, I don't want to deal with her, if she pushes my buttons I don't know what I will do"

Derin heard her.

DERIN: Sanem dear, I know she's a diva, Can and I were so annoyed with her at lunch yesterday. Can, wanted to get up and leave but I forced him to stay. Just work with her today, so we can finish up quickly and get her out of here."

Wait, Derin was with them at lunch yesterday, why didn't he say so. Girl did you even give the guy a chance. Wake up!! Shush I'm trying to think, well obviously it's not helping you, because you got rid of that hunky man that loves you! He could have pushed her away. Girl, you're very thick headed I'm out of here.

The whole day Sanem had to deal with, Arzu, she was such a pain and so picky about her stupid drinks.

SANEM: CeCe I'm about to punch her in the face, I don't like the way she's talking to me, she's treating me like dirt."

CECE: Sanem, calm down, the day will be over soon."

ARZU: "hey simple girl, get me a vegetable smoothie, now" Can is watching Sanem. She looks pissed, Arzu is being nasty to her, he doesn't like it. He's ready to say something but Derin holds him back. " Can, we're half way through." He nods okay. And looks back at Sanem. Sanem walks over to Arzu.

SANEM: " excuse me, my name is Sanem, and that's what you will call me, do you understand ( arzu saw the look in Sanem's eyes she flinched but didn't care)

ARZU:  "you are supposed to do whatever I say, I'm your boss for today. Do you understand."

SANEM: " you are not my boss, nobody tells me what to do!! You are going to treat me with respect, and you are going to treat everyone else here with respect, do you!  understand!! ( Sanem was very angry and she points her finger in her face, Arzu knew that she's angry but she doesn't care) because I can guarantee you that no one will help you with makeup or getting dressed for the rest of the day. You will be on your own!!"

Can was watching this, he so proud of Sanem sticking up for herself.

ARZU: "fine, I will be nice, because I'm planning a hot evening with the photographer." And she smiles sarcastically, she knows Sanem is interested in Can.

SANEM: really, I don't think so!! He's off limits, to you! He's already taken." Can is happy!! But he doesn't want Sanem to see that he's listening, he's pretending he's doing something else.

ARZU: I don't think so, I can tell he wants me, (she looks at Sanem up and down) I don't think he would go for someone like you. There's nothing to you.  You're Just plain you look like you came from a village with that dress on." Miriban is watching with Aziz and along with everyone else.

CAN:Annem, I think Sanem is about to punch her in the face, should I intervene?"

MIRIBAN: " I would love for Sanem to wipe that smirk of that Botox face of hers!! Can and Aziz start laughing.

AZIZ: " let her go son, Arzu deserves it, she's been treating Sanem like shit all day today. Plus she talks down to everyone else." Everyone is listening to Sanem.

SANEM:"maybe, I am simple, but everything about me is real, my breast, my ass, ( she knows Can is listening) And no Botox!! Just ask the hot photographer he'll tell you how real they are!! ( Can is smiling ear to ear) "he seemed to enjoy them when he was grabbing them"( Sanem couldn't believe it herself that she just said that but she is so mad right now she really doesn't care) You better get out of the sun because your plastic boobs might melt." Arzu got so mad, she put her hand up to slap her, Sanem grabs it and says. Don't even try it, because you'll lose!" And she walks away.

AZIZ: "wow! , Can, what a spitfire, Miriban she definitely reminds me of you!!"

MIRIBAN: " Yes, we had are share of Arzu's, but they never got in the way "

AZIZ: no, my love you took good care of them." Aziz hugs miriban and they start laughing.

Can was so proud of Sanem, she stuck it to her good!"

Everyone else heard what was said and they were so proud of Sanem, they all started clapping. (Arzu was pissed wait till tonight village girl, he will be mine) Aziz had everyone get  back to work, Arzu was still making side comments to Sanem. It was the last part of the day and they were almost done. Arzu kept trying to flirt with Can, and he of course was ignoring her.

ARZU: "get me a smoothie, now, it's so hot I need something cold." Arzu is fanning herself. But Sanem is just standing there ignoring Arzu . " hey, didn't you hear what I just said?!" "I did but you didn't say the magic word, now what do we say when you want someone to bring you something?" (Sanem said Sarcastically, but like talking to a child ) Arzu is staring at her and she is pissed because Sanem is making a fool out of her. "Fine, Please bring me a smoothie!!" "Much better!!"the employees were getting such a kick out of Sanem. And of course Can was beaming, so proud of his girl. Sanem went inside and did as she asked, she waited for the last picture to be done to give it to her. Arzu gets up to walk towards Can, but accidentally trips over Sanem's foot and falls to the ground. " Arzu looks at Sanem.

"You did that on purpose." Sanem acting shocked that she fell. " I didn't, (sarcastically) you should've been more careful you were to busy looking at the hot photographer, and when walking in heals you should always be more careful."Everyone was laughing, even Can tried to hold it in. Sanem saw him. She was happy he wasn't mad. Can helped Arzu up.

SANEM: "'here's your fruit drink" Arzu grabbed the drink from Sanem's hand so hard that the drink went all over Arzu. With a little help from Sanem of course. Sanem started laughing, "you did that , not me, you shouldn't have pulled the drink from my hand like that. And she walks away with a smile on her face."Arzu was furious, she couldn't believe that this village girl made a fool out of her.

Leyla and Emre were laughing. They got such a kick out of Sanem.

EMRE: "is your sister always like this? For someone who is angry at Can, she sure won't let anyone get near him, she's definitely funny when she's angry, but I don't blame her Arzu is really being a pain in the ass!"

LEYLA: " Yes, she's definitely funny when she's angry but Arzu does deserves it, ( and she laughs) but my sister always has the last word, I guarantee you Azru will loose, ( they both start laughing) And as for Can that's because she loves him, but she's too stubborn to forgive him. She will. She won't let anyone else have him, as you can see."

The work day was over, all the employees left, Miriban and Aziz went out to dinner and Emre and Leyla went to see a movie. The only ones left were Arzu, Can and Sanem.   Arzu, was changing into her low cut short dress, Sanem was cleaning up.

CAN: Sanem, let me help you, you didn't stop all day your probably exhausted."

SANEM: " it has been a long day, I'm am tired, but I want to have everything clean for your parents, I don't want them waking up in the morning and finding a mess."

CAN: Sanem, I like the way, you stood up to Arzu, she deserved it."

SANEM: " she's lucky I didn't punch her in that Botox face of hers." They both started laughing. Can, caresses her cheek with the back of his hand. " Sanem I "

Arzu sees them together and runs behind Can.

ARZU: there you are Can, let's sit outside , just me and you and we can see the pictures you took of me together." She grabs his arm and pulls him outside .

Can looks at Sanem and sees anger in her eyes."

" and you can go make me a fruit smoothie.

SANEM: "I don't think so, I don't have to do anything for you anymore. But I think I will sit right here with both of you, it's such a beautiful night isn't it Can." She looks at Can and gives him a huge smile.

And of course Can couldn't hide his smile. Sanem went and squeezed between Can and Arzu. Arzu was so angry. Sanem looked at Arzu and said " if you want that smoothie so bad how do we ask for it Arzu?"

Sanem was being very sarcastic. But Arzu wanted her out of the way.

ARZU: "Sanem, could you please bring me a fruit smoothie." Can is trying not to laugh.

SANEM: " okay  since you asked nicely". Arzu put her hand on Can's thigh and Sanem slapped it away and says " hands off no need for touching." And she walks away, Can loves when Sanem is jealous. He knows that she wants him, but she's just being stubborn.

Can was showing Arzu the pictures,  when Sanem  came back out. Arzu was glued right next to him.

Sanem puts the smoothie on the table and stands there and doesn't move."

ARZU: " excuse me Can and I have work to do." And she puts her hand on Can's. Sanem slaps her hand away and Arzu gives her a dirty look.

ARZU: "don't you have a home, why don't you leave."

SANEM : actually this is my home, I live here "she said with a huge smile on her face.

Arzu just looked at Sanem.

ARZU: I guess every wealthy family has a room for the help." Sanem lifted her hand up to punch her in the face, but Can held her hand down. He kept rubbing her hand brought to his mouth and kissed it.

Arzu was watching this, and she was not happy.

CAN: Arzu, you're way out of line, you need to go now.

Sanem lives here with me, pack up your stuff, while I call you a taxi. Good bye, you can wait out front. You already overstayed your visit" Sanem was so happy, that Can stuck up for her.

Arzu was very angry, but she grabbed her stuff and put her tail between her legs and left.

CAN: " I'm sorry Sanem, that you had to put up with her all day today"

SANEM: " actually I enjoyed making a fool out of her. Did you see her face when she spilled the drink all over herself." They couldn't stop laughing. " and when she fell!!

CAN: " I'm sure she had some help with that fall"

Sanem acted innocent, can laughed and pinched her cheek. " ah Sanem Aydin, what you do to me" Can cups her face and caresses it with his fingers.

" Sanem, I really" and his phone vibrates on the table. They look down and it's Polen. Sanem got upset.

SANEM: it's seems, that your girlfriend just can't give up Can." She has tears in her eyes. " I have to finish cleaning up, go talk to her."

CAN: "Sanem, she keeps calling but I don't pick up, I told her I don't want anything to do with her. Please believe me, I love you."

SANEM: " You know for some reason I actually do believe you. But is she always going to be in our lives.

I'm scared Can, I love you so much, but I'm selfish I want you to myself , is that so bad?"

CAN: Sanem, I feel the same way, you're mine, and always will be." His phone vibrates again. She looks down and sees Polen's name again.

SANEM: "answer it Can, she won't stop."

CAN: " I know what she wants, she's trying to tell me that she didn't set me up. I don't want to talk to her. She's been trying to call me constantly, I just ignore her calls. I just want to talk to you Sanem, I miss you."

Sanem smiles "I miss you Can" she brings his face close scratching his beard on both sides of his face.

And kissies him softly. " we will take it slowly, okay, be patient with me, please."

CAN: " what ever you want bebek, I will do whatever you say." He kissed her softly again and wrapped his arms around her waist, and sniffed her neck. Sanem giggled.

SANEM: " slowly remember!"

CAN: " this is slow, I can show you what fast is if you want." She starts giggling. "Can."

CAN: " okay, at least this little interaction will last me through the night." She pushes him away and they start laughing. " let's clean everything up, you look tired." They cleaned everything up and said their good night with a soft kiss.
