Chapter 15

Sanem and Can said there good nights and Sanem went inside, she feels a hand grab her and turn her around.

LEYLA:  "Sanem, hurry sit down, fill me in, what happened tonight."

Sanem turned around and saw Miriban sitting on the couch.

SANEM: " you mean, you too, have been waiting up for me isn't it late?"

MIRIBAN: " Sanem dear, who can sleep, now sit down and tell us everything. What happened to Ceyda, you and Can, and anything in between."

Sanem started giggling, " You two are funny,ok make some tea, I'm going to change and I will come back out and tell you everything." Leyla and Miriban were waiting patiently for Sanem but she was taking her time on purpose to tease them a little.

LEYLA: "Sanem, if you don't come out here now we'll come in there,  I know  what you're doing. You always play this game when I want to find out something..

Sanem came out with a huge smile on her face, she was beaming. Miriban knew, when she saw her.

MIRIBAN: " Sanem I know that smile, he told you he loves you didn't he?" Sanem had tears in her eyes, she couldn't speak, just nodded her head up and down.

Leyla grabbed Sanem by the arms and started jumping up and down and dancing around. Miriban was laughing watching the sisters dance around.

LEYLA: "ok sit, everything from beginning to end."

And that's what she did, she filled them on every detail.

All three of them sat there with big smiles on their faces.

MIRIBAN: " how romantic, I knew Can had it in him, he's so much like Aziz."

SANEM: " the only thing that worries me is Ceyda, she really wants Can, and Miriban, what happens if she takes the account away, I never meant for that to happen"

MIRIBAN: "Sanem, don't worry about the company,  it's in good shape, we don't need her. And Aziz won't care either, you and Can are more important than any account." She got up hugged the girls and went back to the main house to go to bed. The girls stayed up a little while longer and then decided to go to sleep. But Sanem was so excited she couldn't sleep.

Can went to his room, after he dropped her off at the pool house. He had the biggest smile on his face. It feels good to be in love. In my life I never thought I would fall in love. All I wanted was to travel. And explore.  But he was happy. He went into the bathroom to change and he hears is phone again.  Polen, what the hell does she want, again. She never called me like this.

CAN: "Polen, what is it , you called me like four times. What's so important that you couldn't wait for me to call you back."

POLEN: "why are you ignoring me!! We've been together for like four years

and now you're pushing me aside"

CAN: Polen, stop, you know damn well this was a very open relationship, you were cheating on me the whole time like I was on you. And I explained from the beginning, no commitment just friends with benefits, and you agreed. and we're ending that too.  If you want to be just friends fine, but nothing else.

POLEN: " did you meet someone else, Can, what's going on with you, we were so passionate together."

CAN: "Polen, we only got together, three, four times a year. For the past four years. What does that tell you."

I'm done talking, good night."

POLEN: " Can please I love you!"

CAN: "Polen if you loved me you wouldn't be sleeping with other men. Stop. Good night!"

And he hangs up on her.

Polen was very angry. " Can Divit, if you think I'm going to let you go, it's not going to happen. You're mine!!"

The next morning, Sanem went inside to make breakfast for everyone, it was a beautiful day, so she was going to set everything out on the patio.

Sanem is setting the table when she feels him behind her. He grabs her and wraps his arms around her and brings her close to him. And starts kissing her neck.

SANEM: " do I know you, my boyfriend might get angry when he sees you touching me and kissing me like that." And he starts tickling her, he loves the sound of her laugh.

CAN: "You smell so good my love, I can't get enough of you."

SANEM: " Can, someone might see us, we need to stop."

CAN: "Get used to it Bebek, I will never stop."

EMRE: " okay, you two get a room!!"

And he starts laughing. But he is very happy to see them together. Aziz and Miriban are also very happy.

Leyla comes out of the pool house, and has a huge smile on her face when she sees Emre, and so does Emre.  Aziz looked at Miriban, and  she nodded her head, letting him know that she noticed Emre and Leyla.

Sanem and Can filled them in on what happened with Ceyda. And of course told them all that they're a couple. They were all very happy for them.

The girls went in the kitchen to clean everything up.

Aziz, Can and Emre sat outside talking.

EMRE: "Can, I hate to bring this up. But what about Polen? She's not going to be happy."

CAN: " I told her before I got together with Sanem, that I am ending this so called relationship. But she's very clinging, she won't stop calling me, saying that she loves me. I told her last night again. If she doesn't understand that's her problem."

AZIZ: " good, I'm glad you ended it with her, hopefully she will back off!"

EMRE: "yeah brother, I told Aylin the same thing, but she's like Polen, clingy, I'm waiting for her to screw up so I can get rid of her." Can is smiling.

CAN: "is there someone else that you're interested in ?"

Emre starts laughing. " maybe"

CAN: Leyla seems like a good girl brother, but watch with Aylin, if she figures out that you like Leyla, she will not be happy."

AZIZ: " I agree!! Somehow we will get rid of her, it's not like she's an asset to the company."

EMRE: " true, but we're just getting to know each other again." Can and Aziz look at Emre, and he looks at them with a big smile on his face and they start laughing, they know that he feels more than a friendship towards Leyla.

AZIZ: " Can, aren't you leaving soon on your photo shoot?"

CAN: " yes, I'm leaving next Sunday, I haven't told Sanem yet. I'm happy it's only for two weeks, but I really don't want to be away from her, I wish I could cancel it. But I'm not signing up for anymore projects for a while, I will just help out at the agency when I get back."

AZIZ: " that's wonderful son! I think when you get back I will take a vacation with Miriban, maybe for a month, we haven't gone anywhere in several years."

CAN: " that's a great idea dad!! You and Miriban deserve a nice vacation. Don't worry Emre and I will take care of everything."

AZIZ: "'I have no doubt, I wouldn't leave if I didn't trust both of you."

Instead of going to the beach today they all decided to hang out by the pool and barbecue.

AZIZ: "Sanem, call your aunt and uncle to visit us today. We can spend this beautiful day together. We would love to meet them."

SANEM: "Thank you Aziz bey, I told them all about you and Miriban, they want to meet you."

MIRIBAN: great!! We want to meet them too, because we're like one big happy family now!!"

Can took Sanem's hand and kissed it, Emre looked at Leyla, smiling at each other. And Miriban and Aziz were beaming. They were so happy that their plan worked and these couples came together and are coming together!!

Can and Sanem went to pick up her auntie and uncle, they were so happy to see them, Mevcabi noticed how Can and Sanem were looking at each other. And she couldn't be more happy. She likes Can very much.

SANEM: "auntie, why are you staring, at me and Can?"

MEVCABI: "Sanem, you know you can't hide from me, I see how you and Can look at each other, you two are together and in love."

Sanem just stared at her aunt, she couldn't believe, how her aunt figured it out, she's a mind reader. That's the way my mother was ( they were sisters) sometimes it would freak me out. Sanem smiles at her aunt, "

I'm very happy auntie he's a good man". "Oh I know, you don't have to tell me. I can see it"

Sanem hugs her aunt and says. "I know you can! You're like a mind reader, I hope I inherit that trade especially when I have children of my own."

MEVCABI: " oh yes dear you will, because that's when it usually kicks in, the reading of the minds!"'they both start laughing.

They put everything in the truck, of course Mevcabi made a lot of food.

CAN: " auntie, I can't wait to eat some of your food, I missed it!"

MEVCABI: I made your favorite Can, Dolma. And I made extra to last the whole week."

They were getting in the car when Ahan and Osman came over to say hello. They got to talking and Can invited them to come to the house for the barbecue.

And they agreed. Sanem was happy because she really missed her best friends. Leyla will be happy to, she hasn't seen them in a long time, maybe a year.

SANEM: thank you Can, that was so nice of you. We were very close growing up together, Ahan is my sister and Leyla's and Osman is my brother, always looked out for us.

CAN: " Sanem, your friends are always welcome, I love you Bebek." She scratches his beard and says " I love you too my life" and she goes to kiss him when her aunt and uncle clear their throat.

NIHAT: " Sanem, remember we're in the neighborhood"  Can smiles at Sanem, he understands, and Sanem smiled back.

SANEM: okay are we ready auntie, do you think you have enough food?"

MEVCABI: " Sanem, it's always better to have more than less, because you never know, if more people show up, look, now Osman and Ahan are coming."

CAN: " I agree auntie, don't listen to Sanem" and he winks at Sanem. "'Okay Divit stop sucking up to my aunt she already loves you!!"  They started laughing and headed back to the house.

Sanem and Can were so happy. They love each other's families, they couldn't ask for anything more.
