Chapter 11

Can and Sanem were still mad at each other, everyone sat down for dinner, except for Sanem, she decided she was going to serve everybody.

SANEM: "okay, family, sit down relax and I will serve you your dinner." Can, is looking at Sanem but she's ignoring him. Can likes it when she gets angry, she's so sweet . Aziz and Miriban are secretly looking at each other and laughing, and Emre, he's clueless, he has no idea what's going on, he's looking at Can and Sanem, wondering why they're mad at each other, but actually it seems that Sanem is more angry than Can.

Sanem was serving everyone and herself but not Can. She would go around the table and skip over Can.

Miriban and Aziz were trying to control themselves from laughing. And Emre was very confused. He was trying to figure out why Sanem was skipping over Can.

Can was starting to get irritated, but not Sanem she was very calm, like nothing was wrong, she was talking to Miriban, Aziz and Emre, but not Can.

Can leans over to Sanem and says. CAN: Sanem, are going to keep ignoring me? You are being very stubborn! But that's ok, be stubborn but I'm even more stubborn."

SANEM: "I'm sorry brother did you say something.?"

Can just looked at her.

CAN: " brother? Really?" Oh she's something.

SANEM: " well we are family, that's what you said."Miriban and Aziz excused themselves, And went to their room, so Can and Sanem wouldn't see them laughing.

AZIZ: how long do you think it will take until they figure out that they love each other?"

MIRIBAN: " not long, but I think Polen is going to be a problem, I don't think she's going to give up Can that easy. And I think if she wasn't in the picture those two would be together already."

AZIZ; "I agree!"

CAN: " Sanem, you're taking this too far."

SANEM: " if you say so."

Damn she's stubborn! That's okay, be mad. Let's see who comes running to whom first! Miriban and Aziz came back to the table to eat. Can got up to put his own food in his plate and sat down to eat.

SANEM: "is everyone finished eating, if you are I will clean up." She gets up takes everyone's plate to the kitchen except Can's. Can takes his plate into the kitchen and puts it next to the other dirty dishes. Sanem picks it up and puts it to the side and says " you can wash your own dish after I'm done!!" Can is leaning up against the counter with his arms crossed across his chest.

He's just staring at her and he has this little grin on his face. And she looks at him sideways and sees the smile. And she's almost ready to give in, but decides not to, because she's still mad.

EMRE: "annem, baba, what's going on with those two?"

AZIZ: "they got into some kind of argument and it looks like they're both very stubborn."

MIRIBAN: "yes dear, don't worry, they will be fine."

And they both start laughing again.

EMRE: " why are you both laughing if they're mad at each other"

AZIZ: " don't you think it was funny the way Sanem skipped over your brother with the meal and made him put his own food. I thought it was funny."

EMRE: " actually you're right, it was, did you see Can's face when she went right past him" all three started laughing.

MIRIBAN: " let's leave them alone. They will figure things out for themselves.

Can's phone rings and it's Polen.

SANEM: " answer your phone it's your girlfriend, tell her your family says hello! (Now she was really angry and Can noticed, she finished the dishes and walked outside.)

CAN: " hello Polen, is something wrong?"what does she want, what timing.

POLEN: " can't a girl call her boyfriend to see how he's doing " they talked for a couple of minutes and Can hung up, he was more worried about Sanem, deep down he hates that she's mad at him.

Sanem was so angry, " Polen, of course she would call!! I just want to scream he makes me so angry!! Him and his model girlfriend!!" She's walking back and forth talking to herself. Can is watching her, boy she is feisty, he loves it. She is really challenging him. And he loves a good challenge. Can went outside to try to talk to Sanem.

CAN: "Sanem, can we talk?"

SANEM: "I don't think so Can, not tonight, I'm really tired, and I just want to spend time with my sister when she comes."

CAN: "Sanem, you're overreacting, I'm just looking out for you."

SANEM: " no need Can, I can take care of myself. You can't take care of all the women in the world. (Sarcastically) Take care of your girl friend. Tell her what to wear. Not me!"

CAN: " are we starting that again? If we are, I still don't want you to wear that bikini to the beach, it shows too much!"(he's very stern with her) Sanem is thinking does he care like family or is it that he has an interest in her.

SANEM: " Can, I don't think Polen would be happy if she heard this conversation. There's nothing you can do, Saturday I'm going to the beach with my sister, and I'm wearing'it, and my sister has one too, what are you going to do tell her not to wear it to!"( of course she's lying she just wants to push his buttons)

CAN: "if I have to yes, look Sanem, I'm telling you I know what guys are thinking, especially the way you looked" and he stopped talking and swallowed'hard, and he looked away. And now Sanem is fishing.

SANEM: " how did I look Can, fat, ugly, I'm curious."

CAN: " Sanem, you looked, nice. To nice."

SANEM: " nice, well if I looked "NICE " then I shouldn't have a problem."

CAN: "okay Sanem, be my guest wear it, I can't tell you what to do."

SANEM: " that's right you can't!  Can Divit you make so angry!! He starts walking towards her.

CAN: "why Sanem, why do I make you Angry? You should be happy someone cares enough about you to tell you that a thong bikini can get you in trouble!!"

They're face to face, Sanem just can't stay mad at him.

He just makes her melt. And Can just can't stay away from her, he loves being close to her. They're staring into each other's eyes. He put his hands on her arms and starts to rub them up and down, Sanem is melting with his touch.

CAN: " Sanem, please, I'm a guy with a lot of experience. And I know what guys are thinking, I don't want you to get hurt"

SANEM: " Can, I'm not stupid, please, (pause) okay fine, I won't wear it, okay, only in private. When I'm sure no one is around or no one is going to sneak up on me like you!!!" she was getting very angry again.

CAN: " You can wear it around me no problem, I would never touch you unless you want me to" he's talking softly to her, looking at her lips. She's getting weak, she wants him to kiss her and he wants to kiss her too.

He takes some of her hair and pushes it out of her face, and caresses her cheek. And gets closer to her." Sanem I" and his phone rings again and  it's Polen.

Sanem pulls away, looks Can in the eyes and says.

SANEM: "Can, this is very wrong, (she says softly and then she starts getting angry) answer your phone, your girlfriend is calling you!!" And walks away and goes into the pool house.

CAN: " Polen, what could you possibly want, you just talked to me.

POLEN: " Can, you cut me off very fast and I want to know why?"

CAN: " why all of a sudden all these phone calls Polen, we hardly ever called each other that much"

POLEN: " because, I realize that I want more, I want you in my life more Can, is that so bad."

CAN: "listen Polen you knew our relationship from the beginning, we only saw each other a couple of times a year, and I told you I will not commit to any one. We're going to end this.  We will talk when I get back, I'm coming to see you after the shoot."

POLEN: " Can, I love you! And I want you"

Can couldn't believe what she was saying, she loves me but we've had relationships with other people is she for real!

CAN: "listen, I have to go, I can't talk about this now.

POLEN: "is there someone else, are you seeing someone else?"

CAN: " no polen, I'm not seeing someone else. Like I said we will talk when I see you, goodbye!" She was fuming, there better not be anyone else. We will see Can, I'm not going to give up that easily!

Sanem walked away from Can, with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe that they almost kissed and his girlfriend called. Is he interested in me, but I don't want to come between them. Sanem you have to keep away from him. But maybe they don't have a serious relationship. Ah Sanem,  I think I've fallen in love with him. But I'm sure he doesn't feel the same way.

( girl, are you kidding me, that man is definitely interested in you, I don't think Polen means anything to him, do you think so, girl, did you see the way he looked at you. I don't know, you're confusing me leave me alone.) she hears a knock on the door.

CAN: "Sanem, please can I talk to you." She Opens the door, she has unshed tears in her eyes.

SANEM: " Can, please, not now, I need to be alone, plus Leyla, will be here soon.

CAN: " Sanem, I'm leaving soon on the shoot, probably in a week, I don't want us to be mad at each other. I really do care about you"

SANEM: " Can, for some reason I can't stay mad you, I'm upset with you.  And I don't think Polen would be happy with you, knowing that you care about me, plus the way you're looking out for me. Just focus on your relationship with her, okay, I just work here that's all. ( she seems so sad, I hate seeing her sad, I want to see that beautiful smile on her face.)

CAN: " Sanem, Polen and I, it's complicated, it's not what you think.  He touches and caresses her cheek, and she leans in to feel his touch. She pulls away and looks over his shoulder and sees Leyla, she walks away from Can.

SANEM: Leyla!! They hug each other and start crying, I missed you so much!! I'm so happy you're here!!"

LEYLA: " me too Sanem, hopefully it will be permanent!"

Can was smiling he was happy to see the sisters together and that they were happy to see each other.

SANEM:" Leyla this is Can bey, my boss."he shakes her hand.

CAN:  " just Can, please, Sanem can't get used to the fact that I'm just Can."

LEYLA: " nice to meet you Can."

SANEM: " go inside Leyla I'm coming" She turns to look at Can.

CAN: " Sanem this conversation is not over, I promise you.  We need to talk." She smiled nodded her head and went inside.      Good night Sanem.  We will definitely be talking again, I don't know what it is about you, but I can't stay away from you. Inside Sanem was leaning against the door thinking the same thing.  Good night Can, I think you're right, we do need to talk soon.
