Chapter 106

Monday morning, and Can and Sanem were back at work together.

Sanem was filling Can in on everything from the past week.

SANEM: " you know my love, it wasn't the same last week without you, this office felt empty." Sanem is sitting next to him, holding his hand.

CAN:  "oh yeah, what did you miss?

SANEM: "I just missed you next to me, maybe those little kisses and little hugs throughout the day."

CAN: "You did ? well I can take care of that" he grabs her and brings her close and starts tickle kissing her all over her face and neck, she's laughing

SANEM: "Can, someone might come in" he stops disappointed.

CAN: "what ever you say my love, later!" There is a knock on the door.

METIN: "good morning you two, again am I' interrupting something? Metin laughs and Sanem is turning red.

CAN:  "yes you were, that's ok we will continue tonight. (And he winks at Sanem , Metin and Can are laughing they always tease each other and they love to embarrass their girls ) what's up brother!!"

METIN: "call the kids in here with there girls, I got good news for Asli."Can called everyone in. " okay Asli, your home sold for a good amount, right?"

ASLI: "yes it did."

METIN: " the home that was for sale by the girls home is now yours! The deal went through and you can start working on it as soon as you want."

Asli was crying, she was so happy, she hugs Metin and Aziz then grabs her and hugs her .

METIN: "plus, the amount of money Huma is giving this home is unbelievable. You can do some major renovation and still have money left over for years. Asli, this what you are doing is amazing, there are a lot of kids that are abused in many different ways, congratulations.!"

ASLI: "wow, I can't believe this, I can't wait to get everything going. Hopefully the city will support this new home and help when needed,"

METIN: "don't worry, they are on board they are definitely backing you on this, I won't accept anything less from them, I'll be on them when needed,"

ASLI: "Thank you so much." She goes over and hugs Metin.

METIN: "well I'm of to see my love and then back to work.  see you guys soon,"

The rest of the day was quiet, Can and Sanem were sitting on the couch working together,

CAN: "Bebek, are you hungry?

SANEM: "I am, how about if we eat in the office, we have so much work to do."

CAN: "okay, I'll run out and grab something be back soon," he kisses her and left.

Sanem went to the make some tea, and she suddenly feels someone right behind her actually very close to her. She turns and she sees Yigit.

SANEM: "oh, hello Yigit, you startled me, I didn't expect you today, did we have a meeting and I didn't remember?" He Kind of made her feel uncomfortable.

YIGIT: "no, I just came by to see how your book is going and if you need any help."

SANEM: "No, I'm fine.  I'll bring it on Wednesday and you can read it."

YIGIT: "okay, if you need anything just ask. I'm here to help."

SANEM: "Thanks but I'm good." Can walks in and sees Sanem talking to someone, "who is that?" Sanem sees Can and starts smiling. And Yigit turns to see who's she smiling at. "Yigit this is my husband Can, Can this is Yigit" Yigit's smile faded somewhat and Can definitely didn't like the way Yigit was looking at Sanem. Can put out his hand to shake it, and Yigit gives it to him, Can shakes it firmly to let Yigit know stay away from my wife. Yigit got the message but he doesn't care.

CAN: " nice to meet you, you're the new publisher for the US?"

YIGIT: "yes I am, I just came by to see if Sanem needed any help with her book and to let her know that I'm here if she needs me."

CAN: "I doubt she needs your help, we will let you know if she does, good bye!"

SANEM: yes Yigit, I will let you know." Can took her hand and they walked back to the office together.

"Can, what are you doing, why were you snippy with him." She knows why, but she likes it when he's protective.

Can looks at her and smiles, how can women be so naïve as the first day that I met her.

CAN: "my love, didn't you notice the way he looked at you?"

SANEM: "no because I only notice how you look at me, I don't care about anyone else." She put her arms around his neck and pulls him in for a kiss.

Can couldn't help but smile, she still as sweet and innocent minded since the first day I met her,

CAN: "I don't like him, you only meet with him if I'm around or Kaan, understand."

She rubs her cheek on his beard

SANEM: " whatever you say, my hunky bodyguard"

They finished their work and decided to go out to dinner with the kids and their fiancé's and girlfriends.

CAN: "Emre we're going out to dinner do you all want to come."

They agreed all of the kids and parents went out to eat, every time this family went out to eat together. It was like a small party.

LEYLA: "Sanem look, who is sitting at the table across from us."

SANEM: "who, I can't believe it, what are the chances."

CAN: "Sanem who are you looking at?"

SANEM: "see for yourself " Can turns and looks and it's Polen.

CAN: what the hell, I'm sorry sweetheart, don't pay attention to her."

Polen looked right at Sanem, and if looks could kill.

SANEM: "who is she sitting with, he looks familiar."

CAN: " it's Yigit!! That's where I remember him from!"

SANEM: "what do you mean?"

CAN: "thats Polen's brother, I met him years ago but I forgot he even existed."

ZARA: "Annem who are you both looking at.

SANEM: "your father's ex, over by the window, the bleach blond with the long hair,"

DENIZ: "well she has nothing on you, your way more beautiful!" Sanem smiled

SANEM: "Thank you, but look at her it's like she hasn't aged, she looks practically the same."

LEYLA: "I bet if you look close up there's a lot a Botox, you're a natural beauty." Can, hugs Sanem

CAN: "that's right you were Always more beautiful, and natural, no comparison!"

NIHAT: "well it looks like they saw us and they're on their way over here."

YIGIT: "well hello Sanem, is this your family?"

SANEM: "yes, and you remember my husband?"

Yigit looks at Can not in a very nice way. And the kids especially the boys picked up on it.

YIGIT: "yes we met this afternoon, what was your name again."

CAN: "no need for you to know, all you need to know that Sanem is my wife."

POLEN; "Can, your so over protective, (pause) do you remember my brother.?"

CAN: "not really, I don't recall."

POLEN: "well, I must say Can, you're still as handsome as ever. Your father and I dated for years until your mother came along,"Sanem just looked at her and gave her a nasty look.

SANEM: "yes, they did, for about four years. Your dad would see her three, four times a year for a day or two and then leave. Yes, They had a real loving relationship going there." Polen was getting angry. And Yigit puts his hands on Sanem's shoulders and smiles, and Sanem starts feeling uncomfortable, Aziz gets up and goes and takes Yigit hands of his mother's shoulder

AZIZ: "keep your hands to yourself!" Nihat is not liking this guy, he's giving him dirty looks along with can and Aziz.

CAN: "You can leave now, goodbye."

YIGIT: "it was only a friendly gesture, it meant nothing."

CAN: "like I said leave now, you too Polen, don't you have a restraining order!!"

Polen gave them nastiest look and walked away.

YIGIT: Sanem don't forget your book tomorrow, I'm looking forward to reading it."

AZIZ: "you are not to be alone with him not even for a minute.!"

NIHAT: "who the hell does he think he is, putting his hands on your shoulders!!"Can and Sanem were smiling

CAN: "see it's not just me that notices these things, your boys feel the same.""but I agree with the boys, he's not a good person, one of us has to be around when you are working with him or no working with him at all."

SANEM: okay, you don't have to tell me twice, (smiling) let's eat and forget about them." Sanem is more irritated with Polen than Yigit. She really gets on my nerves. Yeh, that's right Polen my handsome Can.!!

On the way home Can and Sanem were quiet.

When they got home they made their tea and sat on the couch and just cuddled.

SANEM: "Can, what are the chances that Yigit is my publisher and he's Polens brother."

CAN: "I really don't know, I'm just a surprised as you."

SANEM: "I think Polen is still waiting for you!" She starts giggling

CAN: "that's her problem, you know I'm sure she never loved me, I just think she doesn't like to lose. But I really don't like this Yigit, he's a weird guy, be careful,"

SANEM: "don't worry, plus look at all the body guards I have. He will never try anything with the three of you around, your sons definitely take after you, my love."

CAN: "and the girls are definitely you, sweet and innocent. I'm sure Adem and Elkin are going to be overprotective with them too."

SANEM: "I'm sure, it must be a guy thing, to protect the one they love." Can pulls her close and squeezes her tight.

CAN: "I love protecting you, and I always will."

SANEM: "an I love that you do protect me, my handsome bodyguard."

The next couple of weeks were busy, getting ready for the girls wedding, the boys were going to go away with Asli and Ela,  and Yigit was coming to the agency almost every other day. And Sanem was getting annoyed he was really getting on her last nerve. And Can just wasn't happy either.

CAN: "here comes your wierd publisher again, don't sign any contracts with him. Sanem I really do not like this guy.!"

SANEM: "You know he's really getting on my nerves too, and you know me, it takes a lot for people to irritate me. He smiles and pinches her cheek.

CAN: "I know love. Your to nice, let me take care of him, after I'm done with him he will never show his face around here again." She starts giggling, Can violence isn't the answer to everything." "It is with him." Yigit knocks on the door walks in.

YIGIT: "good morning Sanem (pause) Can "

SANEM; "good morning, is there a reason you are here this morning?"

YIGIT: " I just came to tell you that the book cover is ready and if you want to come by the publishing house I will show it to you and we can set up a book signing next week. Maybe we can make a trip to New York, you and I for another book signing."

Can is ready to get up and kick his ass but Sanem holds him down.

SANEM: "first you could of called, you didn't have to come here, second, I'm keeping in touch with Kaan, he is my publisher, your just taking care of the US part of it, and third you and I aren't going anywhere together, wherever I go I go with my husband, just me and him. Do you understand!" She was getting angry. Yigit wasn't happy and Can and Sanem noticed.

YIGIT: "well yes of course, I didn't mean it that way."

SANEM: "yes you did Yigit, you come in here almost every day for what, I don't understand! If you think that you have a chance with me, forget it, I would never leave this wonderful man for you!" Can was so proud of Sanem, he sat back in his chair and smiled.

YIGIT: "Sanem, I think you got it all wrong, I just care about you, and you are a great author I'm proud to have you on my team."

SANEM: "well I decided I don't want you on my team, I'm done, this is my last book, Kaan can take care of everything and I really don't need the US I'm fine with Turkeys and Europe. So you can go now! Good by."he was getting angry

YIGIT: "it's your loss then, US would have put at the top of best authors and sellers lists."

SANEM: I haven't lost anything Yigit, I have everything I want here with my beautiful children and my handsome wonderful husband.!!"now you can leave and don't come back!" She turns to Can and grabs him and gives him one hell of a kiss, yigit was so angry, he looked at them and left!

CAN: "wow bebek, you let him have it good, I'm so proud of you!!" He Gives her a passionate kiss

SANEM; "he was really starting to get on my last nerve

Does he really think that I would leave you ( she scratches his beard a rubs her nose on his) for him!! ( she grabs his hand) lets go!" She's very irritated

CAN: "we're are we going?"

SANEM: "to the hut! Me and you, no interruptions."

CAN: "whatever you say bebek ( he had a huge smile on his face) I'm all yours!"

SANEM: "you're damn right you are!"

CAN: "wow!! Bebek, I love an angry Sanem. But then again I love making love to you anyway you are."

He kisses her softly. "I love you bebek."

SANEM: "I love you my only one.!!
