Chapter 1

Destiny's plans

Sanem was 15, and Leyla was 17 when their parents died in a car accident.  The girls were taken in by their aunt Mevcabi and uncle Nihat.  They were very loved by their aunt and uncle, and the girls loved them very much. but they were having a hard time supporting the girls. Their business wasn't doing well enough to support all four of them. Fortunately, for Layla, there was  some money left from their parents estate after their death and she  was able to attend college with that money plus a scholarship.  so she left when she was 18 years old to go to college to become accountant..

When Sanem was 16 she decided to get a job in the city, she had lied to her aunt and uncle and told them she had gotten a job in a bank and was making good money.

SANEM: "aunt Mevcabi, uncle Nihat, I got this wonderful job at a bank in the city. And they pay very well, so I will be moving out, and getting my own apartment. This will make things much easier on you. Plus it will be a good experience for me." Her aunt and uncle were very upset that she was going to leave. They understood why she was leaving, but they knew Sanem would never admit it.

NIHAT: "Sanem, we're so proud of you! We love you and Leyla so much, we're proud of both of you!!"

MEVCABI:  but we will miss you, please don't forget us. ( they were all crying and hugging each other)

SANEM: "I promise, I will be back to visit often, how can I forget you, Leyla and I love you both so much, and we're very thankful for everything you've done for us. Plus aunt Mevcabi I will be back definitely for your food, you're the best cook in the neighborhood!!"

MEVCABI:  " you're right I am! ( And they started laughing, auntie was very proud of her cooking)

That day Sanem left to start her new life, hopefully for a better life in the future, she knew it wouldn't happen over night and she would have to work hard. But it was worth it.  She didn't want her aunt and uncle to worry about her, and support her when they barely made any money to support themselves.

Sanem found herself in a group home to live in, it was for runaway's and girls like Sanem with no parents. She was very thankful that  they allowed her to stay there. She explained her situation and they allowed her to stay there as long as she earned her keep. Which she did. Sanem would work part time In a supermarket, while she attended a high school which was near the home. She loved to learn, she loved reading and writing, she excelled in all her classes, her teachers  and classmates loved her, she was the smart funny clumsy girl, who always lifted everyone's spirits. Sanem would never let anyone else know what she was feeling. Always had a smile on her face.

But Sanem was always a dreamer, she always tried to look on the bright side of things.  She was the best storyteller in the home, the girls loved her, she always had the best romantic stories to tell. Sometimes she would go to the orphanage down the street and read stories to the young children, and help the older ones with their homework. The kids loved her, they always looked forward to her visits.

Sanem finished high school with high honors.  She got a scholarship in a local four year college.  She was majoring in creative writing, and marketing.  She was hoping one day she could right a book. Hopefully a romantic novel, she loved romance novels.  She often dreamed of one day meeting the love of her life. Her prince.

Sanem was now in her third year of college. Top of her class.  They hired her as a tutor within the college with pay.  She would tutor kids in the school library. One day when she was waiting in the library for the student. She was looking at the magazines with pictures from famous photographers, she focused on one main photographer. She loved his pictures, every time a new magazine would come out. She would focus on his pictures. Some of them would make her emotional.

Summer was coming and Sanem needed to earn extra money, so she got a job at a club, waitressing.  The tips were good, but the drunken men were annoying. She was a beautiful girl and they always made passes at her. But she needed the money because she knew it was time to move out of the home. But Sanem was optimistic, a dreamer, she always believed, that even when things get tough, something good is going to come along soon. And little did she know what fate had in store for her.
