Amagi Brilliant Park
Intermission: At a family restaurant by the streets of Fuchuu
Moffle, Macaron and Tiramie arrived at a family restaurant named âGooniesâ in town.
There was no way they were in the mood to go drinking at the yakitori bar after attending such a gathering. After having cream croquettes, Qeema, and a meat casserole, respectively, they each sipped on cups of disgusting coffee while wearing gloomy expressions.
âAs expected, I canât find many good offers, mi.â
Tiramie complained as he fiddled with his smartphone. The little Pomeranian had been scrolling intently through the job search site âMoko-Moko Naviâ.
âIsnât that limited to the capitol, ron? Just search throughout the country and youâll probably find something,â Macaron said.
âIf possible, I wanna work at the capitol, mi! I donât wanna move so far away.â
âYou sure it isnât just because you donât want to leave the chicks whom youâve received mail addresses from, ron?â
âNo way! â¦Okay, maybe a little, mi.â
Tiramie was hopelessly obsessed with girls. It was hard to believe he was worrying about anything else.
âIf you search hard enough, there are probably tons of good amusement parks out there, ron. There are some that raked in profits after breaking ties with the government.â
âIs that so, mi? You seem to know a lot about these things, Macaron.â
âI know a thing or two about the problems of Japanâs economy, ron.â
âThatâs hard to believe, mi.â
Macaron took a quick glance at Moffle. He hadnât spoken a word since that dispute with Seiya earlier at the sky garden. Heâd been staring outside the window in misery. Even with the delicious croquettes, he could only manage half of them before placing them down on the table.
Macaron thought of striking up a conversation with him, but couldnât think of any topic that could lift his mood. The best thing he could do now was to continue his idle chatter with Tiramie.
âAnyway, donât worry too much about leaving the girls. You can build a new harem elsewhere, ron.â
âI suppose. But I really donât wanna leave Takamiâs ass, mi.â
âSince when was her ass yours, ron?â
âThatâs something I wish to make mine, mi. Iâd definitely wanna puff her.â
âPuffâ was a word used in Maple Land that referred to a certain action. Details aside, it was, without a doubt, uncouth lingo.
âOh, and Iâm a huge fan of Melody too. I definitely donât wanna move too far.â
âMelodyâ referred to the soccer team âMelody Shibazakiâ that was based at a city beside Amagi. It had recently skyrocketed in popularity after placing well in a tournament last year.
âCome to think of it, the opening match is soon, isnât it, ron? Tiramie, if I get my hands on the tickets, how much are you willing to offer?â
âYouâre always like this, mi. You also sold tickets to AK48âs live concert to the black market, not to mention Wanipi, at ridiculous prices, didnât you?â
âThatâs just the service charge, ron. Itâs perfectly legal!â
Right then, Moffle stood up.
âIâm going home, fumo.â
âMoffle, are you alright, mi?â
âIâm not sure myself, fumo.â
Having placed the payment on the table, Moffle left the restaurant.
