I asked her a question , instead of answering ,she just smirked and walked away.

Honestly thinking about it gave me a lot of stress that even Joy, noticed and that little brother of mine only noticed what he wanted .

I sat on top of my bed and sighed feeling a strange urge to just take my spear and go out and train. " Are you alright Gigi?" Joy , asked with a strangely gentle tone.

I looked at him and sighed again ." I'm confused JoJo, I don't know what to do ". He got off his bed and went to mine  .

He had a smile on his face , a strangely soothing smile." Will you tell me what troubles you elder brother?" I looked at him and nodded.

I told him all about what has been going on .

Since we were young I've always taken myself as the wise twin so I did not expect much help from Joy , but talking to someone really helped lift the burden off my shoulders .

" So you said her aura changed ?" He asked now sitting on my bed . I nodded while still looking at him .

" Then she must be possessed  or under some spell , whatever it is I'll help you uncover the truth Gigi".

I was a little taken aback by his words . " You'll help me ?" He nodded . " Do you know Gigi , I have something that is possessing me too , something dangerous".

I looked at him shocked ," what are you talking about about JoJo?" He just laughed.

" You have a gift , I have something like a demon, while you got light in you , I've got darkness".

I couldn't understand him , I felt like he was talking in riddles . That's when I realised I did not really know my twin brother .

I only saw him as childish , impulsive and violent. My eyes were pulled to his neck and I saw the royal bead necklace.

My eyes widened , " where did you get that bead necklace?" I asked honestly curious.

" An old woman gave it to me , she said it's a symbol of our royal family and that it symbolises protection".

I showed him the bead bracelet, " she is our great grandma and she gave it to me too".

" You got a bead bracelet , seeing as I've got the necklace that must mean something right ?" He asked .

I nodded , yet I only knew that it was meant for the royal queens but the problem was how could my twin brother possibly be queen.

" It is only given to the royal queens , So I don't know why she gave it to you ".

" That must mean I'll be a queen to my own kingdom or my own household , a queen does not only mean I have to have a village to govern ".

His words made sense , well atleast to me . " Forget about all of these negative thoughts Gigi , let's talk about the annual hunt ".

" Oh , it's hunting season already?" I asked astonished.

" Yes , and I'm planning to catch the biggest prey ever " he laughed happily at the thought.

I saw his eyes looking a little violent but it was only for a fleeting moment I almost thought it was my imagination .

That night we slept in one bed like we used to as young children. Two days passed and the preparations for the hunt began .

Young man walked around showing off how strong they were . You could see how excited they all were for the hunt .

Even father had a rare smile on his face . Mother wanted to follow the men to hunt but father refused . He knew just how weak to blood mother was .

Joy , sharpened his spear and cleaned his pistol , he looked ready for the hunt as well .

The poor Thando , was used as a chair . Sometimes I thought Joy , was a bit too unfair to Thando .

Always treating the man so poorly. " JoJo , don't you think that Thando , also needs time to prepare for the hunt?" .

I asked hoping he'll free Thando.

He simply scoffed ." His body is steady , no spear can penetrate through it , he won't die ". He sounded confident so I held my tongue.

Thando , just smiled at me . " Let him do what he wants , after all if I did not like it he won't be able to touch me " .

So with those words I left the strange pair alone .  " We're heading out !" One of the man yelled .

The three of us stood up and walked to the village square. There were many men there but the only one I saw was my Lolo .

He stood there , proud and arrogant . I thought he looked charming. " You'll drill holes through him if you keep looking at him you know " Joy , teased .

I glared at him then smirked ," I have the right to look at him , he's mine after all".

Someone clapped their hands after I said those words . " Such a bloody fag , just look at you talking about a man like he's a woman".

Now this was one of my hated enemies in the village . His name is Jobe , I hated him .

If not for the fact that he was Lolo's younger brother I would have knocked his teeth out.

" Still pinning after my elder brother I see , I wonder how grandpa will take that ".

I did not say anything unfortunately for him my own younger brother was not that kind .

Yep , Joy , straight up punched the man . He was about to continue if not for Thando , stopping him .

Now that I think back on it , the only person who could truly handle my younger brother , was Thando.

" Why are you stopping me ? He deserves it , let me show him how to respect those who are above him".

Joy , said looking really murderous. " Calm down or else.." Thando , warned his voice more stern than I've ever heard it .

Joy , just turned away from us and walked away , Thando, followed him without a word.

I was a bit surprised by what happened . " You should not have said that Jobe " scolded Lolo , making me turn to him.

" Oh silence you queer of a brother , do you know how ashamed I'm to be called your younger brother?" .

Lolo , looked really hurt by his words and it made me hate him even more . " You insolent fool , how dare you talk to your brother like that ?" .

I asked angrily . He just scoffed ." Of cause you'll talk man chaser , are we young men even safe from you?" I raised my brow at that .

" You and all the other men will never match up to my Lolo , so don't think highly of yourself" .

He was about to say something when I summoned the grass spirits and they wrapped around his ankle and he fell down.

I was going to do something else when I heard a very sweet giggle . So melodious and soothing . My eyes met with Lolo's eyes .

For the first time they had a smile in them and it was directed at me . My heart skipped a beat . He was so beautiful .

It was only for a moment but that was enough for me. I kept that giggle , and that smile in my heart .

" Enough boys let's heard out , it's time to hunt " my father said only at that moment joining us .

I knew he was with mother the whole time so that was okay .

We all entered the forest and I stiffened after hearing the trees' words . " Child there is danger , keep your eyes and ears open ".

I sighed here we go again .
