Chapter 80
Arielle Moore and Vinson Nightshire
Chapter 80 Messed With The Wrong Person I donât believe someone as lowly as Arielle are friends with these people! Fanny must have mistaken her for another Ms. Sannie, and Arielle must have taken advantage of it and played along!
âArielle Moore!â Yvette walked up to her and raised her voice. âEnough with your act! Arenât you from the countryside? How did you know a designer from Feature?â
When Arielle was about to defend herself, Fanny stepped in. âSo youâre saying I donât know who am I talking to? Do you think Iâm blind? We donât welcome uncouth customers in our shop. Please leave.â
Yvette looked at her in disbelief. âHow dare you? Do you not know that I can easily destroy your company with a snap of the fingers?â
Fanny titled her chin. âTry me.â
âYou!â Yvette exclaimed, âDonât you regret what youâve done today!â
She turned around and stormed away in frustration.
Iâm going to ask Dad to get Feature out of Jadeborough!
No. I should talk to the Jupiters instead since Featureâs shop was in their shopping mall.
Since her fiancé, Jordan, and Jupiter Groupâs CEO, Harvey, were good friends, she decided to get Harveyâs help to avenge her.
Harvey treats me with great respect because Iâm Jordanâs fiancée. Iâm sure heâll do me this favor!
Yvette dashed out of the shop and bumped into a man.
The man, who had a cup of coffee in his man, accidentally splashed the drink all over Yvette.
The coffee was so hot that Yvette shrieked in pain.
âAre you okay?â Sharon checked on her before reprimanding the man, âAre you blind?â
The man was stunned for a moment. It seemed he was surprised that someone actually talked to him in such a manner.
A sudden frown warped his face. He responded, âShe knocked into me first.â
Upon noticing the coffee stain on her new dress, Yvette shot daggers at the man. âDo you know how much this dress cost? Do you know who I am? I can ban you from entering this shopping mall for the rest of your life!â
The man, who initially had a smiley face, instantly turned grim. He snorted and retaliated, âAnd do you know who I am? I can ban you from entering this shopping mall for the rest of your life!â
âHow dare you!â Yvette bellowed. When she lifted her head, she saw another man standing behind him.
The man had a manager badge pinned on his blazer.
Great!
Yvette walked up to the manager and said, âKick this man out of the shopping mall. Iâm Jordan Bakerâs fiancée, and your CEO, Harvey Jupiter, is my friend.â
The manager froze for a moment and took a glance at the man before giving Yvette a response. âIâm sorry, Miss. I have to ask you to leave the shopping mall right now. Please leave before I call the security guards.â
âWhat the hell? Iâm your CEOâs friend! How could you not take my instruction?â
The manager extended his hand and explained to her who the man was. âI donât know if youâre a friend of our CEO, but this is Mr. Nightshireâs assistant, Mr. Rayson Seet.â
Yvette and Sharonâs eyes widened in disbelief.
Vinson Nightshireâs assistant?
Yvette recalled how her father had been trying to get in Vinsonâs good books but to no avail. She also remembered her father had been giving Rayson some gifts in the hope of gaining Vinsonâs favor.
Did I offend someone whom Dad has been trying hard to please? Did I try to throw him out of the shopping mall?
Fear throbbed in Yvetteâs veins, and her face started twitching involuntarily.
âWhat are we going to do?â Sharon asked.
I donât know, Sharon. I donât know!
I just got kicked out of a shop, and now I offended the assistant of a big shot? Whatâs with my luck today?
Yvette swallowed the fluid lodged in her throat and immediately plastered an apologetic smile on her face. âIâm sorry, Mr. Seet. Please forgive us.â
