"Oh Romeo, oh Romeo. Where arth thou?"

I have seriously seen this Romeo and Juliette movie so many times and I hate it. It's a classic and everyone knows it, so why the heck do we have to review it in class. At least I wasn't the only feeling tortured. Emery had such a bored expression on her face, it was hilarious. Jordie was sleeping right next to Ethan, who was dozing off as well, those two would be so cute together. I can totally see it happening. I'm shipping them. Clare is the only one who's paying attention to the screen and even mouthing the words. Emery saw and turned to me giving me a weird and shocked look of disbelief in her friend. I couldn't stop laughing and even had the teacher shush me couple of times before I calmed down.

Ugh. This is so boring. I'm glad it finally ended after being forced to watch it the last three days in class. The teacher paired us in groups to discuss it. I personally think the teacher ships me with Emery and Ethan with Jordie because we are always together in groups.

"So, was it love or lust between Romeo and Juliet?"

"Love" shouted Clare from the other group. We all laughed at that, she knew how much we all hated the play and she found it so funny to torture us.

"We'll duhh, lust," replied Jordie and Ethan at the same time. They both blushed and looked away, which was so cute.

"Okay. How about you Emery? And can you explain why instead of just stating it like those two," I asked.

Emery took a while before answering passionately." Again, it was lust. I hardly believe they got to know each other well enough in just three days. Love isn't immediate, it's like a process of opening up to someone and vice versa and loving them whole heartily, even with their flaws. Romeo and Juliet were just super attracted to each other, and I guess that can develop into love over time and them finding out more about each other, but they didn't. Then in the movie they immediately had sex after getting married. It just proves it was lust," replied Emery.

"Wow, didn't take you for a hopeless romantic," I teased.

Emery blushed and sarcastically replied, " Dang it, my secret's out. No wonder I suck at relationships,"

"Hey, you don't suck at relationships. People just don't appreciate you," blurted out Ethan.

"Yeah, it was Liam's and Tyler's loss. Those douchebags......Wait does Tyler count as an ex?"Jordie asks Ethan.

"We'll umm they only dated for two weeks, but they never actually became a couple because Emery broke it off with him when she found out he was cheating. So, I don't know if it counts. But I love how Em got that jerk back for what he did." Said Ethan.

"Oh my god guys, stop talking about my past failed relationships," said Emery trying to avoid eye contact with me.

Aww she looked so cute even when embarrassed and a little frustrated. Okay, so I already hate Liam even more for being a douche to her. Even though I shouldn't ask, I count help but want to know what Emery did to Tyler, the cheating jerk.

"Oh, he tried to explain it was nothing and tries to kiss Emery. Instead Em punched him and gave him a black eye and poured soda on him. It was hilarious. That was awesome Emery," answered Ethan in awe.

I looked at Emery in disbelief. How did this cute and sweet girl give a guy a black eye? Damn, that sounds badass and makes her hotter. Seriously how does she keep getting more beautiful. She just gives me so many feelings. Not like the butterflies shit, she gives me goosebumps and a swarm of bees in my stomach.

At the end of the day I was supposed to give Emery a ride, so I was looking around for her. When I find her, I run up behind her and scare her.

It would have been a funny story if she hadn't trip backwards and I if I wouldn't have tried to grab her causing us to both fall on the floor. But, we don't fall beside each other, I fall on her. Our faces are so close to each other, if we both lean in a little we'd be kissing. I couldn't help but stare at her lips, then I heard her call my name and I looked her in the eyes. She's never looked more beautiful. Her eyes were a warm light turquoise, they were so mesmerizing, and I wanted nothing but to kiss her. She just stared back and I had a tiny feeling she wanted the same thing as me. It felt like time stopped before I remembered we were still in school and I quickly got up and pulled her up too by her hand. We were both blushing like crazy, but Emery was the first to look away. We headed to the car, the entire car ride was just awkward silence until we got to her house.

"Um thanks for the ride Gracen. Um, I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye," she said just before practically jogging to her front door. When she got inside I couldn't help but stay in her driveway a few minutes. I kept replaying the scene from earlier in my head.

Should I have kissed her? Did I do the right thing by pulling away? Does she even like me too? I finally drove away with so many questions in my head. I didn't know what to do at all.
