It is true, Zhan was indeed back, Yibo got to find this out when he visited Cheng in their hospital.

He and Cheng went out to eat in the hospital's cafeteria and there he saw him.

Zhan was in a doctor's white coat conversing with other doctors and laughing to his hearts content.

From that, Yibo could conclude that Zhan had been here for quite sometime already.

"He really forgot me, he didn't even tell me what I did wrong. "  Yibo thought.

Zhan did not even go to see him.

Yibo could not take it anymore and quickly got out of there like a runaway bride.

He was afraid that all his hatred will overpower I'm and make him walk to Zhan then slap him right across his handsome face.

As Yibo run away, a pair of eyes glanced at him with unknown emotions, longing was surely expressed in those eyes.

Yibo ran to his car and started hitting his car seats with his fists.

He was just pouring out his pent up feelings for the past five weeks.

Although he hates Zhan, he still got to observe him. Zhan has grown over the years.

He looks more mature and charming which has also been contributed by his strong build.

Many things has changed in Zhan apart from one, his smile, it's still as charming as before. Just that he's not smiling for that one person anymore.

Yibo just came from a surgery when his phone ring. It was a call from the head office of management summoning him.

When he got there, he received some shocking news.

"Dr. Wang, the management has decided to transfer you to another hospital, this is because the hospital is in need of a cardiologist which we already have three.

The other two cannot transfer from here since they are under permanent employment contract but you are not.

Remember that you cannot refuse this offer because it can lead to revocation of your license."

The head manager explained some more details and then gave him an envelope.

"Read it carefully and remember that you can not turn down this offer. We already transferred all your details to the hospital, report there on Monday."

Yibo came out of the head office with a confused face, is this how it works?

Why would they transfer him without consulting him first?

He flopped himself lifelessly on the sofa in his office and took a long breath then opened the envelope, he could feel that something fishy was cooking up in there.

He read the first page which contained the terms and conditions for his transfer, he didn't really dwell there since he already knew those.

It was in the second page that his heart almost stopped.

It was clearly written there in bold that he had been transferred to the

"XIAO SHANGHAI GENERAL HOSPITAL"

"Why? If uncle needed me in the hospital, he could have asked me....." Yibo thinks.

"On second thoughts, no, he's been telling me many times and I refused.....I even stopped talking to them."

Yibo was so lost in thoughts.

"Hello Yibo" Cheng answered.

"Hello Cheng, I wanted to ask, does your hospital really lack a cardiologist?"

"Yes, the one that was there resigned last week due to personal reasons, we've been facing the problem for one week." Cheng replied.

"Can you believe that I have been transferred to your hospital, I'll work there from Monday."

"That's so nice, now we can finally work together, I have been begging you for a long time, God has finally answered my prayers"

They talked some more before Yibo cut the call. He was now going to prepare adequately to work together with Zhan come the following week.

On Monday morning, Yibo woke up earlier than usual, he took a longer shower and put on his favorite black suit, he was ready to start his day with no disturbances.

He took his box and briefcase, put them in the backseat of his car and started his car driving towards the hospital which was not too far away.

Yibo in the back of his mind remembered that he had not spoken to his mom or no one in particular from his family since the fall out at the hotel.

He made a mental note to visit his mom immediately after work, he had never gone that long without talking to her but Zhan had occupied his mind too much this days.

Yibo got in the hospital and talked to the human resource manager who took him to his section then dropped him off at the main office.

"How are you Yibo, long time no see" Zhan's mom told him giving him a warm hug.

"I am fine auntie, uncle..." Yibo greeted back then kept quiet, it became awkwardly silent.

"Mmmmm....Yibo, do you perhaps know that Zhan is back, he's a Neuro surgeon in this hospital." Zhan's dad said to ease the awkwardness.

"I don't wanna talk about him, I'd rather talk about why you only chose me as a cardiologist for your hospital while there are so many more in the country."

Yibo asked with a little bitterness.

"It's because we know you Yibo, you are the best there is and there's no more to that, we want the best for our patients " Zhan's mom was really good at convincing and after a little more talk, Yibo was dismissed to his work.

He was assigned a few nurses and a team to work with in case of any emergencies.

Yibo worked just fine on the first day.

He even performed an electrocardiogram to an old woman who was suffering from heart failure and this led to him being booked the following week for a surgery.

Luckily enough, he hadn't met with zhan. As promised, Yibo visited his mom that evening and reconciled, he didn't tell his mom about Zhan, somehow, his inner conscious told him to keep it to himself.

The next day, Yibo was walking on the corridor with a group of doctors in his section when he felt a tight grip on his wrist.

He looked behind and saw zhan looking at him with unreadable emotions then the latter pulled him away.

Zhan pulled yibos wrist till he got to his office and closed the door when they got in.

Yibo was still dumbfounded when he felt his body being hugged warmly, a hug he had missed for the past 5 years.

Why was Zhan even hugging him?

"Yibo.....I miss you" that is all Zhan said when he felt a sharp piercing pain on his right cheek. Yibo had detached his body from Zhan's.

Yibo had slapped him, Yibo had slapped him hard.

"You ignore me for five years and all you say is 'you miss me'.....you don't even deserve a punch,that's for dignified men,  a slap is better for you.....don't you dare come near me when you see me around."

Yibo warned and left Zhan's office running, his eyes couldn't withstand it, the tears just came out and he let them remembering that hug

How much he missed it, how much he missed Zhan's warmth even if he still hated him.
