BOOK 5: LOVING ACP SIR -2

Author's Pov"This one looks nicer than that one, Athhai. What do you think?"Uyir asked showing a set of studs and presented them to her mother-in-law, who was examining the chains..."Do you prefer that one?" Devaki inquired, to which Uyir responded by nodding her head."Then, let's finalize that one. I think this chain would look good on our Yazhkutty..Look at this chain I've chosen" said Devaki, presenting her selection.Uyir expressed agreement with a thumbs-up. Meanwhile, the ladies were perusing the collection for the perfect anklet, presented by the man who was the general manager of the jewellery shop. This shop was among those owned by Tisya, and Uyir had ceased jewellery designing following Thulir's birth.okay, it's time for some flashbacks....Thulir was a very active child and always needed someone's company if no one was around her she would use the god's precious gift "Her pitched screams " to make people come to her on their own and she would mess up the drawings and tear the sheets just for fun....yeah childhood Thulir is a Troublemaker and over clumsy also chatterbox...One day, Thulir didn't just paint, she splashed the paints meant for the room all over herself, from head to toe. Madam celebrated Holi with waterproof paints, and it took nearly  2 hours to clean the kids. Thulir didn't stop at herself; she also doused Agathiyan and Aadhavan in paint. What happened was that Uyir decided to renovate the house and change the decor. While Devaki and Uyir were finalizing the design and patterns with the designers, Uyir found the preplanned and finalized designs unappealing. Consequently, she asked them to halt the work midway to discuss new options.Agathiyan and Aadhavan are also at home and they are 7 and 6 years old respectively...Thulir was just 5 then...both the boys were playing with the puzzle....Thulir was taking her afternoon nap...Today was local holiday so the schools were leave Uyir said she would do the babysitting work and its easy to handle the boys compared to her devil daughter...Hoping that nothing untoward would occur, Uyir and Devaki immersed themselves in their work. Meanwhile, upon waking to find herself alone with those little boys, Thulir became irritated and was on the verge of screaming out loud when Aadhavan and Agathiyan quickly covered her mouth with their hands, prompting a glare from her.Pushing their hands away, she climbed out of bed and walked out, planning to scream at her mother right in her face if she got the chance, even considering pulling her hair as punishment for leaving her....Knowing the troublemaker was likely to attempt another stunt, they followed her. She walked into her mother's library, hoping to find her, but Uyir was not there either. Thulir then proceeded to the next room. Not looking down, she stumbled over a paint bucket, lost her balance, fell to the floor, and the bucket, now hooked to her hand, tipped and spilled all over her.Aadhavan stifled his laughter to avoid upsetting the little girl, but Agathiyan couldn't contain himself and burst out laughing at Thulir. In a rage, Thulir stood up, marched over to him, and without a moment's hesitation, pushed him onto the paint-covered floor, then poured the rest of the paint from the bucket over his head. Aadhavan moved to help his brother, but Thulir stopped him. As Aadhavan struggled, their scuffle resulted in all three of them tumbling to the floor, now all covered in dark brown paint.Uyir and Devaki rushed upstairs once they heard something falling and Thulir screams but before they reach everything was done and dusted....One day, their play resulted in the collapse of Uyir's library. The elders had to rescue them from the heap of books after Agathiyan and Thulir's book-throwing fight. Aadhavan, caught in the middle while attempting to pacify them, was also trapped as they inadvertently brought down Uyir's entire personal library. From that day on, the elders decided to take the duo's fight seriously and would never leave the trio alone, especially Thulir and Agathiyan. Aadhavan, the peacemaker, found himself caught between the two, unwilling to abandon either or take sides. Both were equally important to him, and he didn't mind enduring scoldings and punishments for faults not his own. He would still choose both, knowing that they would drag him into the mess even if he tried to stay away.poor Aadhu baby....Indeed, the trio remains banned from entering Uyir's library. If Thulir desires a book, she must either appease her siblings or wait to request it from her father upon his return home. Thulir would never consider asking her mother for books, as she knows that would not only be akin to entering a hungry lion's den but also like placing her head directly in its jaws.At that time, Thulir was eight years old, and Uyir, pregnant with twins, couldn't ascend the stairs quickly enough to halt the commotion. Upon seeing the mess before her, Uyir's anger peaked.Thulir vividly recalls the intensity of Uyir's anger when she scolded the trio for the first time. Thulir, particularly, bore the brunt of her mother's wrath. Uyir didn't speak to her for almost a month, a punishment Thulir felt deeply, being the quintessential 'amma's girl.' Uyir was stringent about instilling discipline; she showed no leniency when her children were excessive or obstinate, ensuring they received what they needed, not necessarily what they wanted...And that was the incident that taught the trio to be responsible. They were children, but as the eldest in their generation, they had to set an example. Amudhan was only two years old at the time, and Uyir was about to give birth to twins. As the older children, they needed to be more responsible in caring for the younger ones, who would look up to them....The duo's catfight hasn't stopped, but it has certainly lessened, and they no longer pull off major stunts like before. For instance, Thulir once burned Agathiyan's favorite T-shirt because he didn't help her swing, and in retaliation, Agathiyan burned her hair while she was sleeping....They ceased that behavior, but arguments and verbal altercations remain quite common, which the elders tend to overlook. They don't regard them as serious at all. It's fun to observe their quarrels; even the elders need some entertainment, it seems.Returning to the present, Thulir descended from her room, eager to meet him, only to be greeted by his mother and grandmother, who were busy selecting jewels for Umaiyazh, whose first birthday is in two days.Umaiyazh, the youngest and final child of her generation, holds a special place in everyone's hearts, partly due to the age gap. She has six brothers, with the eldest being 23 years old. As the youngest, she is certain to receive an abundance of love.Noticing Thulir Devaki beckoning her to join them, she smiled and moved towards the group, her eyes scanning the surroundings for a glimpse of him. However, he was nowhere to be seen. She settled beside her grandmother with a lazy ease, resting her head upon her shoulder. Uyir narrowed her eyes at her daughter.."Aren't you hungry.."Thulir shook her head sadly, picking up an apple slice and eating it slowly as she watched the ladies select anklets. She had lost interest in them, just as Uyir had inherited her grandmother's collection of anklets and bangles. Thulir had received her own share of her grandmother's anklets, leaving her with more than enough variety. She had even given some to Thalir and planned to gift a pair to Umaiyazh when she was older. Umaiyazh, only a year old, would not wear everything she received for her first birthday, nor would she remember the day. Those memories would remain in photos, not in her mind."Pick any studs Thulir they are new collections and you might like them"Devaki said to her granddaughter..."I already have many that I haven't even touched, but please select some for Thalir and say they are for me. I will give them to her on the function day when she comes to me. And please choose a lightweight Jhumki with stonework and pearls, she likes them most."Uyir had already chosen one for both her daughters... Thulir closed her eyes lazily, continuing to chew the grapes... Both Uyir and Devaki shook their heads in disbelief...Thulir directly never shows  love to her siblings its always hidden and its beautiful in such way....because when Thulir got silent treatment from her mother...Jayadev convinced his daughter saying its her mother's pregnancy hormones which is keeping her angry and she would be alright after giving birth...Initially, Thulir distanced herself from her siblings, believing they were the reason she was scolded and punished. Later, Magilan spoke with her and managed to make her understand, as Thulir was not swayed by the reassuring words of her grandparents or her parents, who were more attentive to the newborns. Among her four uncles, Magilan was the closest to her, and she listened to him the most...Thulir was slightly distant from Aadhiran because of her disputes with Agathiyan. Aadharsh was out of town at that time. In that period of rift, Mugilan had just married. Thus, it fell to Magilan to take on the task of convincing the angry and morose Thulir to make amends with her newborn siblings..Although Thulir agreed, she couldn't completely forget her role as the strict and responsible elder sister, which always lingered in her mind, and her affection for her siblings was subtly expressed. In contrast, the twins adored her the most, their days began and ended with sharing rants and complaints about each other with their elder sister, and she was always their first point of contact whenever they wanted anything.Thulir was now sad thinking he left before she came down she is cursing her own clumsy self in mind for accidently turning on the shower instead of tap and get drenched....So she decided to take bath that's the reason of her delay...seems like its her bad day...her almost sleep was gone just by hearing his voice.."Sari Athhee.....Naa pogatta  ""NOOOOOOOOO"Thulir screamed, as was her habit, believing she was dreaming when she heard those exact words from him.Hearing his chuckle, she opened her eyes and looked around, only to find the ladies glancing at her—one with concern, the other with suspicion. We know who is doing what, right? People..Thulir gave them a sheepish smile, scratching the back of her neck."Bad dream that's why....Chorryyyy"Devaki let out a relived sigh while Uyir shook her head in disbelief....Thulir momentarily disregarded her mother's presence and turned her gaze to the one responsible for her embarrassment. Her breath caught when he winked, in that brief instant their eyes met...when she was gapping like a fish to come up with any counter..."Sari Atthe...I am leaving there is lot more work to do"He spoke to Uyir and, with a cheeky smirk directed at Thulir, he left.Thulir awoke from her trance, determined to exact revenge at the function for his acts which is irritating her to the coreÂ
