BOOK 5: LOVING ACP SIR -2

Author's POV The timeline: Malar and Alar was 1 year old "It's been a year, and there has been no improvement in her health. In fact, she is becoming weaker. I've ensured that everyone follows the strict diet plan prescribed by the nutritionist and that she takes her medication on time. I'm personally overseeing this. Yet, she still cannot walk on her own. Is your treatment even working? Appa, if we don't have a specialist available here, we can bring one from other parts of the world. I just want Thulir to recover"Agathiyan said the last sentence while looking at his father, Aadhiran. His frustration was painfully clear in his voice, resonating with a sense of helplessness. The lack of improvement in Thulir's health gnawed at him deeply, filling him with a mix of anger and sorrow. Her body had stopped lactating due to the large amount of medication she had to take, forcing her to stop breastfeeding her babies—a heart-wrenching development for both Thulir and Agathiyan. Despite all their efforts and sacrifices, her health continued to decline, overshadowing their hopes with an ever-growing sense of despair. The specialist doctors appointed to treat her personally informed him that there was no improvement. Each meeting with them felt like a dagger to his heart, as they conveyed that their efforts were ineffective, offering no solutions to improve her health. This relentless cycle of bad news and lack of answers left Agathiyan grappling with a torturous mix of anger, fear, and profound sadness, driving him to the brink of insanity. The weight of helplessness bore down heavily on him, making each day a battle to keep hope alive for Thulir's recovery. The doctors panel looked at him helplessly....They do know something and informed the same to Aadhiran too...it was Aadhiran who stopped them not to reveal anything considering that would make his elder son more guilty and hurt but now he is not going to stop them anymore.....Aadhiran looked at Aadhithya and Anupriya and nodded his head.....except the duo other doctors left the room...Aadhi moved to his elder brother and sat beside him pulled the reports from his hand and throwed it on the table....Agathiyan raised his brows "You wanted to know the real reason why Anni's health is not improving Naa"Aadhi asked Agathiyan gritted his teeth because that's the only question he is asking and no one is giving him the acceptable answer and Aadhi asking him again with the hint of doubt in his voice pissed him more.....yet controlling himself he nodded Aadhi took a deep breath "Nee than naa"Aadhi said it...Agathiyan stood up and glared at his brother"What the hell are you saying? I'm literally doing everything to keep her alive, and you're saying I'm the reason for her condition?" Agathiyan seethed in anger.Aadhi would have been scared if he was just Agathiyan's younger brother, witnessing his furious state. But now he knew his anna was making mistakes, and he had to point them out, contrary to how things usually happened. Aadhi met Agathiyan's enraged gaze calmly and said,"Exactly the point Naa. You're doing everything to keep Anni alive but not lively. Just answer a simple question when was the last time you spoke with her normally, not about her health, but just asking her how she's feeling?"There was silence from Agathiyan....yeah he wanted to ask her but her hiding about the complications in pregnancy and even think of finding a girl for him if she dies in delivery procedure is too much for him he can't digest that he was angry at her and upset also....he takes care of her and the babies and does everything instead of sit back and talk with her normally....seeing his silence Aadhi continued "Her body stopped co operating with the medicines 2 months back anna.....now the medicine she sis taking is not helping her to improve but detreating her health....so tell me what are all the changes you noticed in her "  Agathiyan tried to think and gulped when he realized it. Thulir had stopped making an effort to apologize to him, something she had been doing since the day she regained consciousness, seeking his forgiveness. In recent times, she had become so silent, only following the instructions given to her. She had even stopped asking for changes in her food, no longer complaining about the bland diet or requesting something spicy and sweet. Her silence was deafening, and it pierced Agathiyan's heart. She had also stopped lactating, and as the babies started crawling, she could no longer hold them without help. Nowadays, she didn't even ask for them to come to her, as lifting them was beyond her strength. She only played with them when he or his family members brought them to her and stayed by her side. Thulir used to constantly ask her babies to come to her, ignoring the pain and keeping them close despite others' objections. Now, her spirit seemed to have faded, and she no longer sought that connection with them.Agathiyan was engulfed in a storm of emotions. He felt an overwhelming sense of guilt and helplessness as he realized how much Thulir had changed. Her silence and lack of spirit—which he used to take for granted—now felt like sharp knives stabbing his heart. The decline in her health and her withdrawal from the babies tormented him. He longed for the days when she would insist on holding and playing with them despite her pain, and her current state of detachment crushed him.The realization that his stringent efforts to keep her alive might be stripping away her will to live hit him hard. He felt a twisted mix of anger at the situation, frustration with himself, and a deep, heart-wrenching sadness.Agathiyan sank back onto the sofa with a heavy thud, covering his face with his hands. Aadhi placed his hand gently on his brother's shoulder. When Agathiyan looked up, his eyes were filled with tears. Aadhi's heart wrenched seeing his once strong-willed brother—always the pillar of strength—now broken and vulnerable. The sight of Agathiyan's tearful eyes and slumped posture made Aadhi feel a deep ache, as he wished he could somehow ease his brother's pain....But he can't do anything at the moment..Seeing Aadhi's struggle to speak Anupriya stepped forward "Agathiya"Agathiyan looked up at her Anu spoke softly but firmly, "I am not going to advise you or brief you on anything, Agathiyan. You already know Thulir's condition. People say that when a woman gives birth, she gains a new life. For Thulir, this is literally true. She's like a baby herself now, not strong physically or mentally. She's not even fully aware of the changes within her. I just want you to be there for her when she eventually comes to realize this—though it may take years. Please ensure that she never regrets choosing you as her life partner. Many men fail in this respect; I hope you will not."Agathiyan remained silent, absorbing Anu's words. Aadhi looked at Anu pointedly, and she urged him to leave with her. Aadhi glanced between his brother and Anu. He didn't want to leave Agathiyan alone in this state, but Anu insisted again. Taking a deep breath, he left with Anu, giving Agathiyan some time alone.Author's  NoteI Know I am restarting something but it need to be said.....and it may be one sided but that's how I wanted it....I wanted to write this for long time but didn't do that...Today finally decided to type it down...Next chapter contains Thulir and Agathiyan's conversation....It will take time and lot of thinking but surely will update that...Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
