However, he couldn't aid her as she stubbornly refused to speak up now...."Athan annan soliyachu la kelambu nee"(Anna said it right....leave now)Aadhi leaned back on the sofa, relieved, as he was finally will get rid of her silence.......all the while her eyes were glued to Amudhan......Amudhan took a deep breath....he was the one who is responsible for this situation........but something hit him .....he turned towards her"Are you mute..."he asked her in sign language....she shook her head vigerously.."Ila laaa....enaku pesalam varum " (No no....I can speak..)That girl finally spoke making the trio narrow their eyes at her........why won't they......Agathiyan, Aadhithya and Thulir was trying to make her speak and say something about her so that they could help her get back to her home....but that girl didn't even uttered a single word now speaking that to only Amudhan's question..........The men duo was even more irritated but Thulir understood......she turned her attention to the men and said them..."Okay , let me deal with her......Aadhi you go to home you must be tired due to night shift and Amudha you too..."Aadhi immediately agreed and stood up to leave but Amudhan hesitated...."Go Amudha..."Thulir spoke to him.... he nodded and cast a glance at the girl before departing with Aadhi......Agathiyan's eyebrows lifted at the sight of the mischievous smile playing on his wife's lips, alerting him that something was amiss.Thulir looked at him folding her hands in front narrowing her eyes at him... "what are you waiting for? Aren't you tired due to night shift ACP sir.....First go and take bath I will make something for breakfast"She said casually to him who was still in his uniform as he went for night patrol...He furrowed his brow, glanced at her, then turned to the girl sitting silently. Since Aadhi kept asking questions and seemed fed up, and Amudhan looked exhausted, I sent them back. It had been three years since Thalir left and she had completed her MBA a year back, yet she hadn't returned, citing that she was working on a project to gain some field experience..."Okay....fine I will see if you can continue this "Silent treatment" after she come back"He said hearing him Thulir looked up..."Is she coming back???when???"She asked with eagerness....Agathiyan smiled..."Next week....""Really""You can ask her if you want ..."Thulir pulled away from the hug and turned to other side..."Why should I ask her? I'm not interested to know whether she returns or not. "She said hiding her happiness ....Agathiyan chuckled and hugged her from behind and kissed her shoulder..."Oh.....I believe that Lecturer madam.....now go and look after that girl she is alone...."He said, bumping his head against hers. Thulir nodded and stepped away....Thulir saw that girl still sitting there silently......she smiled and moved towards her..."Would you help me in cooking?"The girl lifted her head, her eyes widening as she looked around to ensure that Thulir was indeed addressing her..."I am speaking to you only...." "oh""Will you?"That girl nodded her head...Thulir smiled at her and moved towards the kitchen that girl followed her.....Thulir asked her to prepare chatni and while she prepared sambar......That girl's work was done faster yet she stayed back and helped Thulir.....She smiled a little when Thulir Thanked her......While the ladies arranged the table....."Thugil"Thulir looked up at her..."En peru Thugil"(My name is Thugil..)Thulir smiled at her..."That's a beautiful name ""Thank you"She spoke slowly...Thulir nodded her head with a smile which she reciprocated...Thulir called Agathiyan, and the trio had their breakfast... Later, Agathiyan left, mentioning that an emergency case had arisen and he had to depart.....Thulir was left with Thugil......3 days back when Amudhan and Agathiyan was going back to home a on the way he saw few men dragging a girl inside a deserted place and she was struggling to get out their hold and crying...Aadhi contacted Agathiyan about the situation, while Amudhan rushed ahead to rescue her from those scoundrels.While on patrol in the region, Agathiyan encountered them. Agathiyan quickly arrived at the location, and by that time, Amudhan and Aadhithya had already taken care of the situation and handed them over to Agathiyan for arrest....She collapsed at the scene, sustaining minor injuries and was visibly shaken. They rushed her to the hospital where her injuries were treated. Once she regained consciousness, Amudhan, not wanting to leave her in such a state of fear and she didn't uttered any words..., proposed that she stay at the Revathi illam.... However, Agathiyan disagreed, suggesting instead that she be taken to his own home, and he communicated this to Thulir....not wanting to bother elders as that was midnight.....It has been three days since they began trying to understand her in order to help. She remained silent, only now revealing her name.
