Author's POVThulir comes out of the thoughts that revolve around the events happening in her and what she did...She did told them all with much confidence that she would get married tomorrow but now the Question Thuyavan asked perturbed her Indeed, she blindly believed Agathiyan would never say no...... even now she has unwavering trust in him...what bothered her was the thought and guilt of not asking his opinion on a major decision of their life....she surely didn't want this to happen this way....she wanted every moment of it special and wanted to cherish every single second of her marriage with Agathiyan...But now end up making such decision.....she thought about this several time....postponing their marriage felt like she would going to immense herself more into the chaos which didn't seems have any ending.....knowing the fact her mother also aware of Aadhavan's whereabouts was the last string for her....She no longer wanted to waste time overthinking and causing herself pain over those who disregarded her happiness. Why should she care about them now? Why should she sacrifice her peace and happiness for their sake? She realized she needed to move on, to forget. That's why she decided that marriage might bring her what she was hoping for—a shift in focus towards her married life and away from the tangled situation that held her back. It's alright, yet she is at fault for announcing it without his consent. He has equal rights to make decisions about the most important steps in their life. She can't make decisions for him also and expect him to agree without any objections. She has to be fair.And that guilt was eating her more after coming here to his station to pick him up and tell him about the decision she announced...she surely not going to force him to say yes.....Thulir took a deep breath and looked up at the intruder and the very same person she is waiting for....Agathiyan smiled at her which she reciprocated..."Shall we leave ma.."Thulir nodded her head and they started walking towards her scooty....Thulir wore her helmet and passed another one to him.....he looked at her and the helmet pointedly...."what....won't you let me give you a ride ACP sir??"Thulir raised her brows, and Agathiyan chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. He called the constable, handed over his jeep key, and instructed him to pick up him tomorrow. Then, he donned his helmet and sat behind Thulir on her scotty. On the way he spoke.."what happened lecturer madam right away came to pick up me that to late night???...its almost 10 pm  ""Just I was missing my boyfriend....why?? don't you like me coming to pick up you ????  Sir would pick up me often from college I thought I would repay at least once...seems like you don't like the idea.....Don't worry I won't do such this very often like you.. "Thulir retorted sarcastically made him role his eyes..."Okay keep that talk aside and take left go in that route...."Agathiyan instructed her....Thulir furrowed "That's wrong and long route man....it would take another round to come back to our way to Gowri's house....and see that street don't even have lights "Thulir stopped her scooty and explained him..."Just do what I said...and don't be scarred I am with you""That's why I am scarred ACP sir...""Oh why is that...""Hello Mr.Agathiyan.....I am young and beautiful women and you are a man who literally have dirty desires for me if you get a chance to encounter me in a dark isolated place.....I don't know what would happen to me......"Thulir said making fake scarred face......he knocked her head lightly .."Kolupu di unaku.....vetuku ponathum korachudrein.....ipo solratha sei dii"(I will take care of you at home....now just do what I said...)She pouted at him and drove through the dark street. Suddenly, someone leaped into the center of the narrow path, startling her. She slammed on the brakes. Turning to call out to Agathiyan, she realized he was no longer there. Instead, she saw him approaching a mysterious man who stood there, face concealed by a mask. That stranger gave a file to Agathiyan and left immediately...Agathiyan came back and asked her to get down and placed that file under the seat and urged her to start the scooty soon and they left  the place....everything happened so fast so Thulir didn't get time to ask him in the middle and the dark street was scarry and she still processing what just happened Infront of her........Convincing herself that file might be somthing related to his case she sealed her mouth from asking him anything through out the ride...Even Agathiyan was tensed after meeting that stranger as he said something to Agathiyan while giving him the file....Upon reaching the house, Agathiyan alighted first to open the gate and allow her entry. After securing the gate, he instructed her to unlock the main door while he accessed the back seat of the scooter to retrieve the file....Thulir understood Agathiyan won't be available for any conversation at the moment and she surely don't want to disturb him when she saw him tensed and making calls and instructing his juniors and having serious conversation as he assessed the file.....Thulir made a strong coffee for him and came to pass it to him who is now seems indulged in reading that file and conversing with public prosecutor....He glanced up and accepted the coffee she offered, gracing her with a grateful smile which she reciprocated and went inside the room giving him privacy....from his conversation she got to know he was indulged in a case which's hearing is tomorrow and he have to be there at court Tomorrow and he was just finishing up final works and looking after some issues created at the moment as the lawyer who supposed to appear from Police side was kidnaped and he was trying to brief the case details to the assistant of that man on the other side he was ordering his assistance to rescue to the kidnaped senior lawyer....the location they found was in Andra border and he can't go there at the moment as he have to be here for tomorrows hearing and making sure other things are perfect...Thulir drew a deep breath, determined not to disturb him from his work. In this tense moment, she silently hoped for a favorable judgment tomorrow. Their marriage could wait. With a weak smile, she gazed at him one last time, then entered the room and collapsed onto the bed. when Agathiyan finally got a time to breath in relief...he looked at the wall clock and it showed 4 Am in the morning.....He let out a deep breath....his eyes were sore....he drank water and went to the room to only to see her sleeping soundly.....Agathiyan smiled automatically as he gazed at her. He vividly recalled the confusion etched on her face while she waited for him yesterday...he took his phone and dialed Thuyavan and moved out of the room not to disturb her sleep..In call "Hellooooooo"came sleepy voice of Thuyavan from other side..."Thuyava....what happened yesterday??"Agathiyan asked straight away...hearing that question and voice Thuyavan saw the caller ID...again he spoke..."What happened maams ...anyway don't you thinks its too early to wake up ...I can understand you might be excited for your marriage and couldn't able to sleep all night but that doesn't mean you can disturb others sleep "He said making Agathiyan furrow.."Who's marriage???""wait....maams Akka didn't tell you yet???""Tell me what Thuyava...say it clearly...what exactly happened yesterday..."Agathiyan asked again "Right uh......okay let me start from the beginning................................. That's it maams""Okay...you go back to sleep....."Agathiyan ended the call and turned to Thulir, who was sleeping soundly after the day's chaos at her house. He chuckled softly, lay down beside her, drew her into his arms, and gently kissed her forehead before he too closed his eyes to sleep..
