Chapter 2 : The REAL Chapter 1

My Hero Acadamia : The Rise of the Memelord

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[2 years later...]
[Jin Bubaigawara's Evil Incorporated! (Apartment)]
"Finally. After three months! I finally have the power to defeat you. You had humiliated me at every turn. No longer. Get ready. ITS TIME TO DIE!!!"
"JIN! JIN STOP! NOOOOOOOOOO! NOOOO JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!! I'M SORRY! STAWWWWPPPP! I'll DO ANYTHIN!! JUST GOD PLEASE NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!", cried out a desperate voice of a child.
Jin placed the 3 +4 uno cards at the top of the pile.
"UNO OUT BABY!"
Koto slammed his face into the tabletop, slapping his Uno hand on the table.
Koto couldn't believe it. He was the one who got isekaid into MY HERO ACADAMIA. It was HIM who knew what UNO was while everyone had forgotten that it even existed. It was HIM who miraculously got the deck made by a local manufacture based on some drawings he gave them. It was HIM who taught Jin what the game was and how to play it.
And he was getting his *ss beat.
"The student has surpassed his master! You were a great teacher, hahaha!", Jin laughed.
[Jin Bubaigawara - Quirk : Double
Age : 23
It allows him to create an exact duplicate of anything, living or not. To duplicate something, he needed to know the precise measurements and characteristics. His quirk is limited to only two duplications at a time. The duplicates are less durable than the original; the second duplicate is even less durable than the first.
When Jin creates duplicates of a person, he has no control over the clones  Creating doubles of himself allowed him to bypass his two-duplicate limit since his clones have the same quirk as the original.
Originally, Jin was adverse to cloning himself due to trauma. It wasn't after a certain someone told Jin what he needed to hear that Jin was more willing to create clones of himself.
The clones don't disappear; instead, they disintegrated into a mud-like substance after taking some damage.]
Koto looked up at Jin, his chin resting on the table.
[Koto Kaneko - Quirk : Memelord
Age : 7
He can manifest memes into reality as long as it fits the context. The actual effects are hard to pin down since most of the memes he uses are either dead, or are not well known.
Although the memes only are manifested in certain conditions, they also can be triggered by certain phrases or actions relative to the context of the meme. These "meme triggers" include, but not limited to - dancing, singing, posing/gestures, wearing certain apparel/accessories, music, fighting, holding certain objects, and various combinations of the said "triggers".
He can use his quirk to temporarily change his own attributes and even gain pseudo or "temporary" quirks for a short time. He can also trigger certain events or phenomena's.
Example : "Web Slinging", Superspeed, Invisibility, Enhanced Combatant Skills, Super Intelligence, Increased Strength, Fear Factor/Intimidation, Telepathy, Flight, etc...
Despite how powerful his quirk may seem, most of the effects it can be easily countered by inhibiting Koto's ability to speak or move. It can also be countered by quirk cancelling abilities or gear.
]
"Of course I'm a great teacher. Who do you think was responsible for getting your depressed *ss back in business?"
"Language, " Jin replied.
Koto rolled his eyes. It has been 7 years since he entered this world. It had been a warm welcome. Woke up covered in blood and a doctor spanked him to get the fluid out of his lungs. A cliche reincarnation.
His parents were amazing. His dad a media artist by day, historian by night. In his spare time, he would dig through the media, libraries, and archive files to restore things which were lost to time. These were things from hundreds of years ago, which actually were things that Koto was very familiar with since currently it was the 22nd century. When Koto was two, he would go and watch his dad work on his computer. And by work I mean watch old Vootube videos and memes while he restores and converts the data files in order for them to be viewed on todays devices.
Koto's dad didn't mind him watching. He actually set him on his lap at times.
Koto will never forget that time he saw his old man get rick rolled. He didn't even know what it was or what was so funny about it. But Koto just couldn't stop laughing. Eventually, his dad caught the contagious fit of laughter as well. Koto's mom came over to figure out what was so funny and just saw them both laughing their *sses off. Koto laughing at the fact that his dad just got rickrolled and didn't know what it was, Koto's dad laughing at the fact that Koto was just laughing for no reason, and them laughing at each others attempts to stop laughing. For a moment, they stopped and looked at Koto's mom, then burst out laughing again.
His mom was really nice and she was beautiful. Her hair was golden blonde and her quirk allowed her to manipulate light. Koto's first word to her was, "S-s-sista?", just to mess with her. Both his parents had busted out laughing. His dad commented that the ladies should watch out, Koto was gonna break their hearts. Made sense. Although Koto inherited his hair from his father, he got his facial features and eyes from his mother. Except the ears. He had his fathers ears.
But now, Koto looked a bit different. He had three parallel scars over his left eye that streaked directly downward, as if he had been clawed by something. His hair had been bleached and dyed white, a little bit on the long side, with bangs going all directions. He wore cherry apple red sneakers with a white stripe running horizontally across the top of each shoe. His pants were blue shorts, along with a white t-shirt under a blue hoodie with a silver zipper.
His scar was artificial, made to resemble King's from an anime show called "One Punch Man". With his scar, he can use it as a trigger to mimic King's terrifying presence and King's Engine...which is basically just him looking scary while being so terrified that his own heart sounds like a tribal drum used for a duel between rival chieftains. The effect terrifies his opponents and causes them to overestimate his abilities. When used on weaker opponents, they would simply pass out. Its useful against the weaker thugs that one would come across on the street at night. Against stronger opponents, it gives an edge to his intimidation factor when trying to deescalate the situation or making them simply have second thought about messing with him.
His shoes helped him trigger his super speed. All he had to do was say the phrase "Gotta go fast" and boom, temporary super speed. However, with his shoes he can run at super speed without having to say the phrase.
His hair was only white because he thought it looked cool.
"...oto....Koto!?"
"Hmm?"
Koto snapped back to reality.
"I was asking if you wanted to go another round?"
"No. I think I'll just go to bed."
"Ok. Remember to brush your teeth!"
"I know!"
Koto stormed off to his room. At this point he was just pretending to be a sore loser. He actually had fun and was happy that Jin had finally managed to get the hang of Uno. Koto had mercilessly beat him every time they played. It felt bitter sweet finally losing to one of your favorite fictional characters from an anime. Well. He's not fiction anymore.
Koto remembered the first time he met Twice.
[Flashback]
________________________________________________________________________________
Jin was just heading back to his apartment. He was planning a new heist. He just couldn't decide what place to hit.
The jewelry store? Jin's clones gained some intel that indicated that some very expensive pieces had just come in. Mainly due to the advertisements. They might as well have posted a sign that said, "Hey! We have precious stones, a safe full of money, and our ONE security officer probably has a snack stash around here somewhere. Come on over and rob us!"
What a joke.
What about the museum? They got some new relics right? The only thing that Jin would have to worry about was the response time if he decided to go loud. But...
Heh...
Being loud is what he does best...
"Hey mister!"
Jin spun around. Behind him was a little boy who couldn't have been anymore than 6 years old. But those eyes. Those eyes shone with a suppressed excitement.
The kid took a deep breath.
"YOUR NOT THINKING OF DOING ANYTHING BAD ARE YOU!?", the kid practically screamed at him.
"W-What?! No! Of course not! What - er - why would you ever assume that about a stranger. Its rude. Where are your parents? You shouldn't wander off by yourself. "
A sad look slowly formed on the kids face. He looked down.
"My parents are dead."
"Oh. Oh shi- I mean. I'm sorry."
"Itskay."
"..."
"..."
"So...where is your guardian? Like your sister, or an uncle. Grandparents or any relatives? You know? The person that takes care of you?"
The kid, still looking down, replied "I don't have anyone like that..."
"Oh.... oh wait. So you saying that you don't have anyone that looks out for you?"
The kid shook his head.
Damn.
Jin sighed.
"Alright kid. You don't have a lot of options. You should go to the police or find a hero. They can get you some help, find someone to help you."
"But. Can't I stay with you?"
"With me?"
The kid nodded vigorously.
Jin sighed again. Honestly, he saw himself in the boy. His own parents died when he was in middle school. He understood what it felt like to be alone.
'Our parents', Twice said in Jin's head.
"Shut up. Now's not the time. I'm busy.", Jin said.
The kid looked down again. Tears started to stream down his cheeks. He sniffed.
"I'm sowwy...I won't bother you again," Koto bawled.
'Fuck, look what you did!', Jin thought to himself.
'Me?! What did I do?! Your the one who talked out loud.', Twice accused Jin.
'I don't care! Right now we have a situation! You could at least try to be helpful!', Jin shot back.
'Alright! I'll give you a hint. Look at the kid! Isn't he adorable! And he's saaaad....sad and alone....all alone...with no one to take care of him...no one to help him...and he lost his parents just like us! Who knows how long he's been wandering on the streets. He's probably scared. He could even be kidnapped in his vulnerable situation. Lets keep him!', Twice told Jin.
Jin let out a loooong sigh. He smiled slightly.
"Alright kid. Stop crying. You can stay with me.", Jin said.
Koto : "Really!?"
Twice : 'Really!?'
"Yeah it'll be alright."
Koto and Twice : "Yaaaay!"
'What have I gotten myself into?', Jin thought to himself.
'LITTLE MINION, GAINED!', Twice cheered.
'Shaddup Twice.'
[Koto's POV]
"Alright kid. Stop crying. You can stay with me.", Jin said.
"Really!?", I said.
"Yeah it'll be alright."
Text only visible to me appeared in my field of vision, seemingly overlaying across Jin's face.
[Speech LVL UP >>> 100]
'Heheheh...It worked...', I thought to myself.
Was it fair that I used my quirk to make my guilt trip more effective? No.
But then again, Jin was a villain. And I was aiming to use his help to...save the world?...yeah...I could use his help to make sure all the characters of this anime at least get a happy ending.
But I could just totally die for some stupid reason. Do transmigrators get plot armor when they become part of the main story arc? Should I just take the normal-kid-that-goes-to-school route? Blend in till I go to UA?...
Naw. Not my style.
So how should I become relevant to the main storyline? Become a villain?...
Wait...I just had an idea.
Aw man...This was going to be so fun. [(;<]
