23.Wedding Drama and some truth

Natalia's POV

"Talia!" I heard Sky's booming voice as she entered the large hall.

My heart skipped a beat and I turned to Callum who was standing beside me.

I could tell he was also shocked to see Sky.

How did she find out about this? Did that mean that everyone else knew?

"Skylar." Callum addressed as she walked towards us.

"I see I wasn't invited." Sky said bitterness clear in her voice. A pang of guilt hit my heart as I saw the pain reflecting in her eyes.

By now, a lot of the guests had left but a few who were still around were now all watching the scene unfold.

"Sky....I.... I-" I tried to explain but she cut me off immediately.

"Oh save it Natalia. I don't even need your darn excuses right now."

"Skylar I get you're upset but this is not the most convenient place to talk about this. Let's get home first please." Callum said and Sky seemed to understand as she now went quiet.

Callum gave his vote of thanks as well and the programme was called to an end.

Christy, Caleb, Angeline and Asher walked towards us and greeted Sky but she just scorned at them.

Shit...

"Well now I guess it's go time?" Asher broke the awkward silence.

"I'm not going anywhere with any of you. My coming here was simple. I've come to take Natalia home with me and I don't care what any of you have to say about that." Sky said and grabbed my wrist.

"Sky what are you talking about, I can't just leave with you like that-"

"Why not? Because you got married behind my back or because you've been lying to me all this time?" She said and let go of my wrist.

Well at least now I knew she knows I got married but did she know about werewolves? I hope not.

"Skylar I think it's best if we all sit and talk about this." Callum said.

"I get you're upset but we can all talk about this right?" Christy added but knowing Sky, this would only piss her off more.

"All I need is for you guys to answer this one question." Sky said. "What are you guys really?" She continued and I felt Callum stiffen beside me.

"We're people just like you!" Caleb was quick to answer, I knew Sky wouldn't believe him.

"What kind of people exactly? Because I swear you guys don't exist in the records of America but yet you all live in America.

And even when I tried tracking your location, it wasn't in the map, so please tell me what you guys really are and what you need with Natalia." Sky said.

I looked between Callum and Asher then Angeline and Christy. They all looked frazzled. Even the ever calm Caleb was looking disputed right now.

It was silent for a while before Callum spoke up.

"We're werewolves."

Skylar's POV

When Natalia told me she was going to her grandma's for sometime, I was really confused as to why but she never really explained why.

I also didn't understand why Callum started frequenting the company not only that, he literally followed Natalia anywhere she went.

It was really adorable at first but then I started asking myself certain questions.

Today I was finishing some files and script reviewing when my phone rang.

It was an unknown caller so I just assumed it was one of Natalia's crazy fans who always found a way to get my number thinking they could reach Natalia through me.

I didn't bother to answer the phone but it kept ringing and ringing.

It got really annoying because whoever this person was, was really persistent and determined.

I grudgingly picked up the phone and the person on the other end spoke.

"Good afternoon Skylar. I know you don't know me but that's not what's important right now. You don't need to know me, all you need to know is what your dear Natalia is up to right now." The person said.

Whoever was this weirdo and what did he mean by that?

"What are you on about?" I said rather impatiently but I didn't f*cking care after all this person was being mysterious.

"Haha. After I'm done with what I'm about to say next, you'll be thanking me."

"Spill." I said annoyed now. Did this person think I was a joke or something?

"I'm very sure you had no idea that your dearest Natalia just got married and she's now having her wedding reception. Hahahahaha." The person said and just kept laughing like a psycho.

What did he mean by that though? Natalia got married? To who? And why didn't she tell me? Or was this freak just pranking me? These were the lot of questions in my head.

"I'm sure you don't believe me so I'll send u a pic an the venue of the event. There's also something you might get confused about. The thing is that everyone you're going to meet today except Natalia of course aren't humans. I'm hanging up now, bye." The freak said and hung up.

The next second, a picture of Natalia and Callum! exchanging wedding rings in the altar was sent to me then an address.

I felt my heart sting with an unknown kind of pain.

How could my Talia do this to me? She got married and didn't inform me. She f*cking got married! Oh my god this wasn't good.

If the general public ever found out, it'll almost destroy her career. I couldn't let that happen. She had worked so hard to get to where she was right now. How could she throw it all just like that?

And what was this person on about everyone I'll meet there weren't humans? Was he kidding me? If they weren't humans what were they?

I didn't waste any more second thinking and dashed into my car and drove to the address.

Truly, there was a wedding reception going on at the venue, I couldn't believe this. Natalia really got married?

I stormed into the place angrily and saw everything was almost over and the guests they were just a few.

I didn't really care about that though. My eyes found Natalia on the podium probably reciting some speech.

Way to go actress, note the sarcasm

"Talia!" I yelled with all the anger in me and her beautiful eyes widened. A look of shock and fear that I always hated to see in her eyes.

I walked towards them and confronted Natalia and she seemed really sorry but I wasn't having any of it. All I needed were explanations.

Callum told me to keep calm till the program was over and I just obliged as I also didn't want to cause a scene in front of everyone.

I waited impatiently for Callum to give his stupid speech and the wedding to be called to an end.

When it finally did and everyone started leaving, I was also ready to leave with Natalia but they wanted me to go leave with them which really annoyed me.

I decided to confront them about who they really were because on my way here, I made researches on Callum but found nothing on him which was really weird.

He wasn't even recorded as an American citizen.

I wasn't expecting what I heard next though.

"We're werewolves." What did he f*cking mean by that? Was everyone bent on pulling my legs today?

"Lies." I seethed through my teeth.

"Come outside then, I need to show you something." Callum said and started walking outside.

I rolled my eyes but followed him and the others also followed behind.

Next few minutes, what I saw left me traumatized for a good fifteen minutes.
