Chapter 3176
When His Eyes Opened
Mr. Hogan didnât expect Hayden to be so direct, and he was caught off guard.
He really wanted to ask Hayden for money, but he didnât know how much he wanted.
After all, Hayden was so rich. If he wanted less, he felt like he was losing money. If he wanted more, he
was worried that Hayden wouldnât give it to him, so he was very confused.
After struggling for a while, Mr. Hogan said to Hayden, âI know that your family is one of the top wealthy
families in Aryadelle, so it is up to you to decide the price! I believe you will not treat my son and our
family badly.â
Hayden frowned slightly.
Joanna looked at it and immediately said, âUncle, youâd better make a price! We donât know much
about this. If you insist on us making a price, then we may have to go back and discuss it with my
father-in-law.â
Mr. Hogan: âAre you talking about Mr. Elliot Foster?â
Joanna nodded. âMy father-in-law is not as easy to talk to as my husband. After all, he wouldnât want
his daughter to marry an ordinary man, right?â
Mr. Hogan nodded quickly and said, âThatâs true. Then letâs talk!â
Joanna: âYou can start thinking about it now. We wonât leave for the next two days.â
Mr. Hogan: âOkay, okay! Letâs exchange contact information! You can contact me more if you have
anything to do in the future.â
Joanna glanced at Hayden, who then picked up his phone and exchanged contact information with Mr.
Hogan.
In the hospital.
Hazel accompanies Lucas to deal with Isabelaâs funeral affairs.
Lucas called the funeral home to transport his motherâs body out of the hospital.
Hazel asked Lucas, âAre you planning to make things simple?â
Lucas: âI donât have any relatives on my motherâs side.â
Hazel: âOh. Do we have to pick a cemetery?â
Lucas: âMy mother asked me to send her ashes back to her hometown and scatter them directly into
the pond.â
Hazel: ââ¦â
Lucas: âShe doesnât want me to spend money.â
Hazel: âAre you really going to listen to her?â
Lucas: âI donât want to listen to her.â
Hazel: âItâs better to buy a cemetery for your mother! Then you can come back to see her in the future.â
Lucas: âYeah.â
At night.
Hayden and Joanna were eating in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel.
Joanna asked, âHusband, Lucasâs father wants $100 million from you. Are you really going to give it to
him? This is not a small amount.â
Hayden: âNo.â
Joanna: âBut didnât you agree to him?â
Hayden: âIâm talking about giving it to Lucas when he and Hazel get married. Itâs still early for them to
get married! Moreover, Lucas will not marry Hazel until he has made a career. Wait until Lucasâs career
is successful. Let Lucas pay for the 100 million by himself.â
Joanna couldnât help but laugh: âI see that Lucas hates his father so much, so he may not be willing to
give his father so much money!â
Hayden: âBut he is willing to give it to Hazel.â
Joanna: âWeâll see what happens then! Itâs still early.â
Hayden: âUm.â
cemetery.
Hazel and Lucas buried Isabelaâs ashes next to their mother-in-lawâs grave.
It would be more convenient if they visited the grave in the future.
When they returned to the city from the cemetery, it was already 10 oâclock in the evening.
The two of them stood at the door of the hotel.
Lucas said to Hazel, âYou go back to the country with your elder brother first. Give me some time.
When I take care of things here, I will go to Aryadelle to find you.â
Hazel: âI want to accompany you.â
Lucas: âIâm fine. Iâve been mentally prepared since the doctor told me that my mother had terminal
cancer.â
Hazel: âYeah. You still want me to leave with my brother first, right?â
âYeah,â Lucas replied.
âOkay! Then Iâll go back to Aryadelle first. Iâll wait for you to go to Aryadelle to find me.â Hazel took a
deep breath and grabbed Lucasâs hand. âYou must find me.â
Lucas: âYeah.â
