Ethan's POV

"What do you think your doing." My heart started to pound as I heard his cold, emotionless voice.

The girl beside me started to scream. She tried to pull me out the door but I stood there frozen in fear.

I swallowed hard and finally turned around to face the killer that I love.

Justin had a crossbow in one hand and in the other a arrow.

He stood there staring down at me. He is just a few inches taller then me but I felt small and helpless in front of him.

Finally he broke the silence.

"Run."

I felt fear start running through my veins. My blood started to boil. Finally, my legs started to work again.

I knew that he won't let me survive.

I quickly grabbed the other girl's arm and pulled her out the door.

Both of us kept running deep into the woods. Why did I have to park my car so far away. No matter what I had to keep going. I needed to find the main road. The girl beside me tried to catch up but I knew it was difficult for her. She was losing a lot of blood.

"I can't keep going." I turned around toward the girl. She was down on her knees. She was breathing heavily.

"No no no you have to keep on going. I....I promise that we will make it out alive." I said while helping her back up. I quickly took off my sweater and wrapped it around her bleeding arm.

"Come on let's go." I said while moving forward. Honestly I didn't know where the hell I was. It started to get dark and the only light thats helping us see was the moon.

We were close to the main road. I can see my car parked. I did a silent prayer in my head. Thanking god.

The girl beside me started to laugh. I can tell that she was excited too. Both of us are going to make it. We are going to live. We are going to see our family's again. We are going to have a future.

We started to walk faster even the girl started to quicken her pace. But then I felt a sharp pain in my thigh. I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked down to my thigh and saw a arrow sticking out of it. I looked at it in horror. The girl rushed towards me trying to help take out the arrow.

"Oh my god, oh my god I don't know what to do!" She said in a panic.

I tried to calm her down but the pain stinged badly. I felt the tears burn my cheeks.

"Just calm down just..... Just help me up umm.... What's your name?"

"It's Ashely."

"Ok Ashely everything is going to be all right." She helped me up and I felt the pain shoot through my leg.

I grinded my teeth to try and avoid from screaming. I grabbed the arrow and started to slowly pull it out. Blood started to spray out. Finally, the arrow came out and I threw it on the ground beside me.

I looked back up at Ashely and she was about to say something when blood sprayed onto my face. I started to scream. I quickly wiped away the blood and saw an arrow sticking out of Ashely's eye. She fell forward and her whole body fell on top of me. I screamed trying my best to get the girl's body off of me. I fell to the ground and threw her off of me.

I stayed there on the hard cold ground. Taking a deep breath I finally, got up and started to head towards the car. But I stopped in my tracks. I couldn't just leave her here.

So I turned back around and started to pick up the lifeless body. I tried to not look at her bloody eye. I made it to my car and I laid Ashely's body behind the car. As I digged into my pockets for the keys. I quickly pulled them out and I was about to open the trunk.

When the car lights flashed on and the car engine started to roar.

I looked up at the driver's seat and there he was seating in front of the wheel.

I started to back away from the car. I was speechless. I felt tears roll down my cheek. I knew that I wasn't going to escape.

I felt my back hit against a tree. As I watched the car start to drive in reverse. That when I realized that I forgot Ashely's lifeless body. I closed my eyes shut and the only thing I heard was the sound of bone crunching.

I opened my eyes when I heard the engine turn off.

I saw Justin's tall figure walk closer to me. I couldn't move. I felt like my feet were glued onto the ground. Justin and I were face to face.

"Please." I begged. "Don't kill me."

Justin put his cold bloody hand onto my cheek.

He wiped away my tears as he started to move closer. I felt his breath on my neck. Then he whispered.

"I won't kill you but I will punish you."

His voice sent shivers down my spine. I finally felt my legs move again. I pushed him away from me and started to run. But he was too fast. He tackled me down and he started to push his fingers into my thigh where the arrow once was. I screamed in pain as I felt the blood drip down my thigh.

He pulled his fingers away and started to lick the blood off his fingers.

"Mmmm.... I love the taste of your pain." He chuckled bitterly.

That's when I felt my keys in my hand. I quickly grabbed the key and stabbed him in the arm.

He grinded his teeth in pain and I saw anger in his eyes. He grabbed a handful of my hair and pushed my head down onto the rock beside me.

I felt my sight start to blur and I could feel strong arms pull me up. Then my sight turned into pitch black.
