Wedding
Destined with Fate ♡
Author's Pov:
The day had finally arrivedâAdvika and Vivanâs wedding. The Raichand mansion was glowing with lights, flowers, and the hum of celebration. The sound of dhols echoed as family and friends gathered, all dressed in their finest attire, ready to witness the union of two souls.
Vivan stood at the mandap, wearing a regal ivory sherwani with intricate gold embroidery. A red turban adorned his head, and a pearl necklace completed his look. He looked both nervous and excited, his eyes scanning the crowd for his bride. His cousins teased him relentlessly, but his focus was elsewhere.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. The music shifted, and all eyes turned toward the entrance. Advika walked in, accompanied by her brothers, under a canopy of flowers. She looked breathtaking in a red and gold lehenga, the intricate embroidery sparkling under the lights. Her jewelry was traditional, yet elegant, and her veil framed her glowing face perfectly.
The moment had arrived for Advika to step into the mandap. Her cousin brothers lift the floral canopy for her, their faces filled with pride and joy. Advika smiled at them, but her heart ached with a familiar void. As she took her first step, memories of another brother flooded her mindâthe one she hadnât seen in four years.
Her eyes dimmed slightly as she whispered under her breath, "I miss you, Robot..."
Just as the words left her lips, a sudden commotion erupted near the entrance. The beat of a dhol filled the air, louder and more vibrant than before. Advika froze, her heart pounding. She turned to see a familiar figure walking in confidently, playing the dhol with a grin plastered on his face.
It was him. Her Robot.
The world seemed to blur as tears filled her eyes. Without thinking, Advika broke away from the canopy and ran toward him, her heavy lehenga barely slowing her down. The moment she reached him, she threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly , while advika's family was shocked to see him.
"Tu toh abhi bhi crybaby nikli?" he teased her softly, his voice filled with emotion.
"Iss crybaby na aaj iss robot ko bhi rula diya na"she replied back making both of them laugh.
Just as she broke the hug, Advika noticed a little girl standing nearby, her big doe eyes staring up at her curiously. The childâs innocent gaze melted Advikaâs heart instantly. She looked at her brother with questioning eyes and softly asked, âIs she⦠Avni?â
Ranveer nodded silently, his emotions reflecting in his glistening eyes.
Advika knelt down, her arms open wide. The little girl ran into her embrace without hesitation. Holding Avni close, Advika cried silently, her heart swelling with love as she met her niece for the first time.
Avni looked up at her after a moment and, in her sweet voice, said, "Papa, aapki sister toh sach mein princess hai. Real wali princess!"
Advika laughed through her tears and kissed Avniâs forehead. âChalein, Princess Avni?â she asked softly.
Avni nodded excitedly and clung to her hand. Together, they started walking toward the mandap, her brother following closely behind with a proud smile.
As Advika stepped into the mandap, her gaze locked with Vivanâs. His breath hitched as he saw her, and a smile tugged at his lips. Little Avni walked beside Advika, proudly holding her hand, and the sight warmed Vivanâs heart.
Vivan extended his hand to her, and she took it without hesitation. They sat together, their hands brushing against each other, stealing shy glances as the rituals began.
The pandit began the mantras, and the air filled with the fragrance of flowers and incense.
Advika came and sat beside Vivan, her lehenga flowing gracefully around her. Vivanâs eyes couldnât leave her for even a second. Leaning slightly toward her, he whispered softly, "You look breathtaking. I canât even put it into words."
She smiled shyly, raising her hand in a playful "ð" gesture to silently tell him, "Youâre perfect too."
Vivan smirked and leaned closer again, his voice low but filled with mischief. "Waisa... mera surprise kaisa laga?"
She furrowed her brows, clearly confused. "Surprise?" she mouthed silently.
Vivan subtly pointed with his eyes toward her brother, Ranveer, who was now sitting a little farther back, smiling as he chatted with some relatives.
Advika followed his gaze, her eyes widening in shock and surprise. "Tum... tum laaya usko waapas?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Vivan nodded with a satisfied smile. âI requested him. And thank God, he agreed to come back.â
Advikaâs emotions bubbled over, and without thinking, she turned to Vivan and hugged him tightly. Her arms wrapped around him in a gesture full of gratitude and love.
The entire mandap went silent for a moment before the youngsters burst into laughter and teasing remarks.
"Arey, bhabhi, thoda wait kar lo! Aapka hi hai shaadi ke baad!" one of the cousins shouted, making everyone laugh.
Advika quickly pulled back, her cheeks glowing a deep red. Vivan chuckled, his hand brushing hers reassuringly as he whispered, "No need to be shy. Iâm all yours, Mrs. Raichand."
Advika sat there silently, her emotions swirling in her chest like a storm. She couldnât take her eyes off Vivan, overwhelmed by everything he had done for her. Each gesture, each word, and the surprise of re uniting her with her brotherâit was all too much for her heart to contain.
Breaking the silence, she softly asked, her voice trembling, âVivan... tum mujhe kabhi chhodkar toh nahi jaaoge, na?â
Vivan turned to her, his eyes filled with sincerity and unshakable devotion. Leaning closer, he whispered, âMain jeena chhod sakta hoon, par tumhe nahi. Tum zarurat nahi, ibadat ho meri.â
Advika felt her heart skip a beat, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She bit her lip to stop herself from crying, but a single tear escaped, which Vivan gently wiped away with his thumb.
âRona band karo,â he said softly, his voice carrying a mix of affection and teasing. âShaadi ke din dulhan rote hue achhi nahi lagti.â
She chuckled through her tears, nodding slightly, and whispered back, âIâm lucky to have you.â
Vivan smiled warmly and replied, âAnd Iâm lucky you said yes.â
The ceremony continued, but for them, the world had faded into the background. All they could feel was the bond they shared, growing stronger with every passing moment.
As the pandit called for the groomâs sister to come forward for the gathbandhan, everyone turned to look for Sarah. However, she was nowhere to be seen. Confused, they began searching, and soon their eyes fell on Sarah hiding behind one of the decorative pillars.
Akshit grinned mischievously and said, âAapki duty hai, madam. Chhupna nahi chalega!â
Before Sarah could protest, Akshit gently pushed her forward. Reluctantly, she began walking toward the mandap, but before she could reach, a small voice called out excitedly.
"Angel!"
Everyone turned to see little Avni running toward Sarah, her tiny feet moving as fast as they could. Sarah froze in her tracks, caught off guard, as Avni reached her and grabbed her hand with a wide, innocent grin.
"Angel, aap bhi yahan ho? Wow! Princess aur Angel ek saath!" Avni exclaimed with wide eyes. Then she frowned slightly and tilted her head. "Par aap chup kyun thi? Aap mujhse milna nahi chahti thi?"
Sarah smiled warmly and crouched to Avniâs level, ruffling her hair affectionately. âNahi, baby. Aapse toh zarur milna chahti thi, lekin aapke khadoos papa se nahi.â
The crowd around them fell silent, their jaws dropping in shock. Everyone exchanged surprised glances, realizing that Sarah and Avni already knew each other.
Before anyone could ask Sarah how they knew each other, she quickly stood up, dusted her hands, and strode toward the mandap with an exaggerated sense of purpose.
"Arey, gathbandhan karte hain! Muhurat nikal raha hai. Baatein baad mein karenge," she said loudly, cutting off any potential questions.
The family members chuckled at her antics while Vivan raised an eyebrow at her, clearly intrigued but deciding to let it slide for now , while ranveer was looking at Sarah with deadly glares.
Sarah, with Avni still holding her hand, performed the gathbandhan ritual with a warm smile, tying the knot that symbolized the eternal bond between Vivan and Advika.
Avni cutely
Advika glanced at Vivan, and their eyes met briefly. He whispered with a soft smile, âEven your niece approves of us. Looks like Iâm stuck with you forever, Mrs. Raichand.â
Advika blushed, her heart swelling with joy, as the ceremony carried on with laughter, love, and a few unanswered mysteries.
The pandit chanted the sacred mantras, and the air was filled with the fragrance of flowers and incense. Advika and Vivan performed the rituals with reverence, pouring their hearts into each moment.
Then came the saat phere. As they circled the holy fire, each step felt like a promiseâof love, trust, and a lifetime together.
When it was time for the sindoor and mangalsutra, Vivanâs hands trembled slightly as he applied the vermillion on her forehead and tied the sacred necklace around her neck. Advikaâs eyes welled up with tears, not of sadness but of overwhelming emotion.
âNow youâre officially mine, Mrs. Raichand,â Vivan whispered softly, making her blush.
As the wedding rituals concluded, Advika and Vivan stood side by side, their hands joined, soaking in the love and blessings of their families. Following her family tradition, Advika bent down to touch Vivanâs feet as a gesture of respect and devotion.
But before she could, Vivan surprised everyone by kneeling down as well.
Advikaâs eyes widened in shock. âVivan, what are you doing?â she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
Looking up at her with a warm smile, he softly said, âAapka hamari zindagi mein swagat hai, Mrs Raichand.
The room fell silent for a moment, and then the collective murmurs of admiration and âawwâ filled the air. Elders smiled with pride, and the younger cousins couldnât help but tease them.
âBhaiya toh bilkul hi romantic mode mein hain!â one of them quipped, making the newlyweds blush.
Advika, overwhelmed by his words, gently pulled him up by the shoulder. âBas, ab itna sab bhi mat karo. Tumhe patni mili hai, koi maharani nahi,â she teased, her voice shaking with emotion.
Vivan chuckled and stood up, his eyes locked with hers. âMeri zindagi ki maharani toh tum hi ho.â
She smiled shyly, her cheeks flushing, and then noticed everyone staring at them with amused expressions. âChalo, ab chalein? Sab humare hi reactions dekh rahe hain,â she muttered softly.
Vivan grinned and tightened his grip on her hand. âDekhne do. Aaj se humari kahani shuru ho gayi hai.â
With their hearts full of love and respect for each other, they stepped into their new journey, leaving everyone around them smiling and cheering for the beautiful bond they shared.
Avni beamed, holding out her tiny hand to Advika. "Aap dono toh meri real life princess and prince ho."
The ceremony concluded with blessings from their elders, laughter from their friends, and cheers from their cousins. Vivan and Advika looked at each other, their hearts full of joy, ready to start their new journey together.
