Everything has changed
Destined with Fate ♡
VIVAN'S POV:
I checked myself in the mirror one last time. My outfit was perfect-something that fit the vibe of a club party. Satisfied, I adjusted my collar and turned around just as Sarah barged into my room.
"Hurry up, Vivan!" she said impatiently before dragging me out.
Outside, we split into two cars. I ended up sitting beside Ansh, who looked like he'd rather be anywhere but here. Even in the car, he was glued to his phone, working like it was the most important thing in the world.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Khushi were in the seats ahead of us, buzzing with excitement. Their energy was almost over the top, as if this was the first party of their lives.
Well, I couldn't blame them-I was excited too. But not so much for the party itself. My mind was elsewhere.
I couldn't stop thinking about Advika. The words she said last night still echoed in my head, making me smile like an idiot. Truth be told, meeting her tonight was the only thing I was truly looking forward to.
We arrived at the club and headed straight to the VIP area that I had booked in advance. The ambiance was lively, with dim lights and music vibrating through the walls. I settled in, scanning the room, when I noticed Agam, Akshit, and Khushi walking in-along with Advika's weirdo friend.
I was about to ask her directly what that what she is doing here, but before I could, Agam whispered that he had told advika to invite her.
I turned to look at him, giving him a strange look. What's gotten into him lately? Just a few days ago, he couldn't stand this girl, and now he's not only talking to her but inviting her to parties? It was definitely odd, but I decided to shrug it off for now.
Pushing those thoughts aside, I was about to ask Tara where Advika was when my attention was completely stolen.
Advika walked in, and for a moment, it felt like time slowed down. My jaw nearly hit the floor. She looked stunning-no, beyond stunning. She was wearing this incredibly hot dress that made it impossible to look anywhere else.
I could feel my heartbeat quicken as I struggled to pull myself together. God, how does she manage to look like that?
Advika walked in, and my breath hitched. She was wearing a deep red dress that hugged her curves perfectly, every detail emphasizing her flawless figure. The fabric shimmered subtly under the club lights, making her look even more alluring.
The dress had a thigh-high slit on one side, revealing just enough to leave me completely mesmerized. The neckline was bold yet elegant, showing off her collarbones and adding to the sultry vibe she carried effortlessly. The way the dress clung to her, flowing gracefully with every step she took, made it impossible to look away.
She looked like a vision-confident, radiant, and undeniably gorgeous. And I, for the life of me, couldn't stop staring.
As Advika walked further into the club, heads started turning one after another. Even though we were in the exclusive VIP area, it seemed like she had caught the attention of everyone around us. The staff members weren't immune either-they too were stealing glances at her, clearly captivated.
Seeing all this, my anger flared. Without thinking twice, I marched toward her, closing the distance in seconds. Gently but firmly, I placed my hand on her waist, pulling her close as we started walking together. My eyes scanned the room, glaring at the men who had been gawking at her. One by one, they looked away and disappeared, clearly getting the message.
Advika leaned in slightly, her voice soft but teasing. "How do you like this side of me, Mr. Raichand?" she whispered, a playful smirk dancing on her lips.
Her confidence and mischievous tone caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but smile, the anger melting away.
I smirked, leaning in slightly as I replied, "I just got a boner because of this side of yours. Are these words enough to explain how much I like it?"
Her eyes widened, and a deep blush spread across her cheeks. She looked both shocked and flustered as she stammered, "Eww!"
Without giving me a chance to say anything else, she quickly turned on her heel and walked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. I couldn't help but chuckle, watching her retreat with a smug grin on my face. She could act annoyed all she wanted, but I knew I had gotten to her.
After a while, we all decided to hit the dance floor and let loose. The music was loud, the lights were flashing, and everyone was having a great time, laughing and dancing together.
But my attention was locked on Advika. The way she moved, the way she smiled-it was impossible to look away. What irritated me, though, was the way some men around us couldn't stop staring at her. Their eyes lingered far too long, and it made my blood boil.
I couldn't help myself; I stayed close to her, keeping her within arm's reach at all times. Whenever someone's gaze lingered on her a little too much, I made sure to glare at them until they looked away, clearly intimidated.
Advika didn't seem to notice-or maybe she did and was pretending not to-but I wasn't going to take any chances. No one was going to look at her that way, not while I was around. She was mine to protect, and I wasn't about to let anyone forget it.
We started dancing together, moving to the rhythm of the music. My eyes couldn't leave her-not her curves, not the way her dress clung to her, and especially not her glossy lips that sparkled under the dim club lights.
I couldn't stop myself; the urge to kiss her grew stronger with every second. As the music pulsed around us, I leaned closer, my gaze fixed on her lips. Just as I was about to close the distance, she gently placed her hand between us, stopping me.
She smirked, her eyes full of mischief, and mouthed, "Not here."
Without anyone noticing, she gracefully stepped away, walking toward the staircase leading to the upper level. Turning back, she smirked again, her eyes daring me as she mouthed, "Follow me."
I stood there for a moment, stunned and amazed by her boldness, before snapping out of it. A smirk of my own tugged at my lips as I followed her upstairs, my excitement growing with every step.
Reaching upstairs, I found the corridor completely empty, dimly lit and quiet, away from the chaos of the dance floor. My eyes immediately found her standing there, leaning casually against the wall, her smirk still teasing me.
Without a second thought, I walked toward her, closing the distance in a few quick strides. Taking my chance, I grabbed her by the waist and gently pinned her against the wall, my hands on either side of her.
Her smirk didn't falter-in fact, it only deepened as she looked up at me, her eyes full of challenge. The tension between us crackled like electricity, the silence of the corridor amplifying every breath, every heartbeat.
"You really enjoy making me lose control, don't you?" I murmured, my voice low and rough.
Her smirk was the final straw.
Without wasting another second, I leaned in and captured her lips with mine, kissing her passionately.
The world around us disappeared as I deepened the kiss, my hands sliding to her waist, pulling her closer. She responded just as fiercely, her fingers tangling in my hair, sending a shiver down my spine.
The kiss was intense, filled with all the emotions we had been holding back. It was raw, electrifying, and completely consuming. For those few moments, nothing else mattered but the two of us and the fire between us.
When we finally broke apart, both of us breathless, her cheeks were flushed, and her lips were slightly swollen. She looked at me with a mix of surprise and desire, and I couldn't help but smirk. "Now, that's the side of you I've been waiting to see," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Ah, I see! Here's the revised version:
As we pulled apart, my mind raced, remembering a conversation we had not too long ago. Teasingly, I leaned in a little closer and asked, "Remember, Advika, you once told me we shouldn't get close before marriage? So, what changed?"
She looked up at me, a soft smile curling at the corners of her lips. Her voice was quiet, but her words held a sense of finality. "Everything has changed," she replied, her eyes never leaving mine.
Her answer made my heart race even faster, and I couldn't help but smile, realizing that this was no longer about old rules-it was about what was happening between us right now.
