Hates him

ADVIKA'S POV

It's been 2 weeks since we are back from the 2 day holiday and I tried to ignore him for 1 day only to see him coming to my home the next day.

Flashback

His face was serious but the moment he saw me his whole demeanour changed and his serious face turned calmed , he tried to talk to me but my uncle aunt tried to talk him ,but him being him the straightforward man , directly told that he wants to talk to me.

My aunt told me to take him in the garden area and we can talk there , I took him there and the moment we stepped in the garden area where we couldn't be seen by everyone,he pulled me towards him swiftly, he caressed my cheeks softly and I melted with his touch , he asked me ,"Did I do something wrong?" I shook my head.

"Then why are you ignoring me" he asked softly.

"I am not ignoring me actually I am not feeling well so I didn't check the phone , I just checked my phone and saw your calls , I was about to call you but before that you came" I lied again because I don't have the courage to say the truth.

"Are you feeling better now , should we go and meet the doctor" he asked , his voice full of concern.

"Noah I am better" I said softly faking my smile.

The more I see in his eyes the more I feel guilty, guilty that I am going to break his heart.

You have a brother," Sarah asked me making me come out of my thoughts.

"Yeah" I replied looking around the dress collections , as we had came here to do the wedding shopping and right now we are selecting dresses for different function , my wedding lehanga is going to come from vivan's family so we are here to choose dresses for another functions and Sarah has came to help me and also select her dresses too.

"Woah we don't knew about you , hut wait a second why didn't he came on your engagement , where is he?!"She asked me while I looked away from the dresses to reply to her "Nobody knows where he is , nobody."

She was about to ask another question when her phone started ringing , she recieved the call and after cutting the call , she looked at me and said ,"Bhabhi , I am so sorry but I have to leave , I have some urgent work too do, Please complete your shopping and return home comfortably. We will meet tomorrow at the office party tomorrow. You are coming, right?"

"Yeah I will be coming"I replied back to her , she hugged me and went away from there meanwhile I turned my eyes to choose the dresses amand after selecting 2-3 outfits I went away from there.

Next Day,

I walked into Vivan's office for the first time, draped in the saree he had specifically asked me to wear. It felt unfamiliar, but I was determined to get it right for him. As I stepped in, I could feel the eyes on me immediately. It was a sharp, invasive feeling that made my stomach tighten.

I overheard some girls whispering to each other, their voices sharp and pointed, as though they thought I wouldn't hear.

"Itni badi parties main kon saree pehankar aata hai?" one of them sneered. "Pata nahi aise logo ko invite hi kyun karta hai." The words stung, but I bit my tongue, resisting the urge to snap back. I wasn't about to make a scene in his office, especially not on my first visit. So I held my head high, pretending I didn't hear them, though every word burned like a brand.

I took a deep breath and glanced around, trying to focus on something other than the harsh whispers. The office was imposing, full of sleek glass walls and well-dressed employees who clearly ran in a different circle than I did. Vivan's world was so polished, so grand. And I felt out of place.

Then, I saw him and his whole family standing there. Seeing me , Vivan walked toward me, a steady confidence in his stride, his eyes locking with mine. The tension in my chest eased a little. He was always the anchor in any storm. Without a word, he reached for my hand and guided me toward the stage slowly whispering in my ears ,"I am waiting for you so long." The whispers died down, replaced by expectant silence.

"I have an announcement to make, everyone," Vivan's voice rang out, clear and commanding. I looked up at him, unsure what was happening, but his smile was warm and reassuring. It made me feel like everything was going to be okay.

"This is Advika, my fiancée," he said, his words slicing through the room. Shocked gasps filled the air. I could feel the sudden heat of all those eyes on me, the stares now filled with curiosity and surprise. The same girls who had whispered moments ago looked frozen in place, mouths agape.

Vivan didn't pause; he stood tall beside me, his hand gently holding mine. "And I am proud to announce that I am starting my new business in her name."

The shock was instant. The room went dead silent, and for a moment, I could feel the weight of everyone's gaze on me. They hadn't expected this. I hadn't expected this.I was also utterly shocked hearing it , he didn't even told me .The once judgmental looks were replaced by something else now-respect, maybe even awe. I didn't know what to feel, but in that moment, I knew things had shifted.

The shock was palpable. The whispers had turned to gasps, and the room was filled with astonished looks.In that moment, all I could do was stand there, holding his hand, watching as the once-critical eyes slowly shifted into something new.

After the whole announcement, people started approaching us congratulating us for both the announcements , we greeted all of them while vivan make me meet lots of his business associates ans after मिट me I knew how much people respects him , the way everyone is appreciating him is making me so proud.

After a few minutes, I stepped away from him because his business associates wanted to talk with him, so he told agam to accompany me and take me there where his family was.

We started walking when Someone bumped into me, and when I turned around, I saw the group of girls who had been badmouthing me just a few minutes ago. Now, they looked nervous and intimidated, probably because they realized I am the fiancee of their boss. I didn't want to make a scene, but I couldn't help having a little fun with them, I just smiled, watching their awkward reactions as they tried to act like nothing happened.

"You guys seem nervous. Is everything okay? You look a little uncomfortable." I asked them while they just shaked there head and ran away from there , I just controlled my laugh seeing them running.

Agam asked me in confusion, "Everything okay, bhabhi"

I slightly nodded and walked towards vivan's family, seeing me vivan's mom take me in a hug while vivan's dad slightly patted on my head, and Sarah she took me in a bone crushing hug making me startle for a one second.

"You look so pretty bhabhi" she said making me smile.

"Yeh sab chodh mujhe yeh bta tum sab log itni late kyun aaya("Forget all this, tell me why you all came so late?")" agam asked her.

"Dadi is back na toh drama kar rahi thi aapki toh pta hai na she hates vivan bhai" she replied nonchalantly but she stopped realising I was also there and I was confused hearing this.

Before I could ask her she just went away saying that she had some urgent work while I was standing there confused ,"Why does Vivan's dadi hate him"
