Memory Lane

Advika came from her school when she saw there are so many hustle and bustle going in her home , she stepped in her home when she saw her sweet grandpa was lying in the bed and everyone had surrounded her , she sided everyone aside and with her little little legs she approached her

bed , her grandma smiled seeing her lazily , she tried to sit but everyone stopped her she looked everyone confusingly.

Her grandmother patted the side of her bed to tell her to sit , she smiled and sat beside her and softly putted her little hand on her forehead and with her cute voice asked ,"what happened to you dadi , why is everyone here?!"

"Nothing my princess , we are just having family time, everyone together and we are thinking for doing a big party where we all will play and dance it will be so fun na " her grandmother told her making little advika got all excited and she beamed with so much happiness..

"Yes yes party we will play , dance and we will have food so so much food , pastries , pizza and everything it will be so fun " she turned towards her mom and said ," mumma I will wear my new pink dress ohkay.

And just as her dadi said they celebrated that day like a family the last party of Advika and her grandma , where little advika enjoyed everything, everyone around was tensed and emotional her grandma kept looking at her in full party and that night after party when she went in her room after hugging her dadi and saying her goodnight , she never knew she was meeting her for the last time.

Because next morning when she wake up she saw her parents crying and her grandma was lying in the middle of the hall her body was cold , she was dead , little advika didn't knew what is happening she got scared seeing everyone crying her mom took her inside while she didn't understand what was happening, when her mom told that her grandma was gone she didn't get what does that mean , what does it mean that god took her grandma and why will they took her...

She didn't understand anything and she didn't know what to say or react , She just kept sitting there looking at her grandma's body which is not reacting or smiling like before seeing her like she used to do , until the time came when she saw people her taking her grandma body for cremation that moment she just ran off from her mom grip and she closely hold her grandma body with her little hand and she cried her heart out.

Her mom parted her away from body while others took her grandma body with her while she kept crying hugging her mother.

And that was the day when her happiness vanished , her grandma was her bestfriend her everything , she used to spend most of her time with her when her mom dad used to be on work her grandma used to take care of her , she loved her grandmother beyond everything in the world.

And if this is not enough to make advika sad , her dad another decision changed their life , after her grandmother's death , her dad decided to shift from their hometown to Udaipur, where her chachu lives , but the problem is she loved here , she loved everything she tried to beg persistently but her dad didn't changed his decision and that was the last day she saw her hometown , all these years she just wished to go there but never went back because she doesn't want to go back to those memories the memory lane.

[Present]

When she opened her eyes to look around , she saw the place she left years ago , and all the memories just came in front of her eyes , her eyes got filled with tears automatically and as soon as the car stopped in front of her house she without any wait unbuckled herself and opening the door she just ran towards her home which is still the same as it was.

She directly went towards the swing which is in her garden where she used to swing with her grandma every evening, sitting on the swing she started to wing just like the old days while vivan looked at her with soft smile...

Her eyes are teary but her face is adorned with a beautiful smile , she is feeling like the old days , the days when she used to be the most happy , when there is no problem the time when she is unaware of the harsh and cruel reality of the world.

He followed her towards the swing, his presence close and steady, and with a tender touch, he pushed her gently, making the swing sway as she laughed softly, her hair dancing in the breeze.

She looked back at her and there was a unsaid gratefulness in her eyes which he can understand despite of her saying a words so many words so many emotions but she is not able to say anything.

After a while they stopped she was about to go again but he hold her hand back making her stop on tracks , she looked at him and confusingly saw him.

"Please take me with you, I feel alone with you " she smiled hearing him and pulling his hands she latched their hands together and went inside.

They pulled the door together and stepped inside together and she was surprised seeing everything near and clean.

"How the house is clean when it is locked from so many years" she surprising asked.

"It was locked but from now onwards it will be not locked whenever you want you can come here" he said making her surprise.

She smiled and looked around with so much emotions, when he thought to lighten her mood and the situation.

"Well I had another option for you , after our wedding, we can stay here permanently " she looked at him with "is this possible " look , "I can shift my office here but I have a condition ",he pulled her towards himself ,"if you will be locked with me in this house for one month straight after our wedding" she looked at him with wide eyes and nervously looked away.

"Or if you feel 1 month is few then we can extend as many months you want I won't mind" he said making her go all shy and red...

"You knowwww whatttt youuu are such a pervert" and saying that advika ran off coming out of his gripp...

"I am pervert yeah I am the one who is dreaming about the kiss yeah yeah offcourse" he shouted making her stop on her track.

She looked back at him and mischievously said ," but i didn't said anything wrong you didn't kiss me " and with that she ram off while he ran behind her but before he could catch her she had already went inside the room , you came inside then I will show you what kiss means."
