31: Finale
Her Wolf [Teen Wolf]
"I've got to meet with the medical examiner and try to figure out what happened with Jackson," the Sheriff tells Scott, Isaac and Ariel. "I've got an APB out on Stiles and Sky. His jeep is still in the parking lot, so that means -- the hell, I don't know what that means. Um- - look," he pauses, distress clear on his face. "If either of them answers their phones, if Stiles answers his emails, if either one of you see him or --"
Isaac nods, "We'll call you."
"Look, they've probably just wandered out from all the attention or something. You know how they are together," Scott tries to lighten the situation, despite the worry he was feeling. "They always sneak off and get into trouble together. We'll find them."
"Yeah," the Sheriff sighs. "I'll see you, okay?
Ariel watches him walk away with a grim expression on her face, "What if they're not okay?" she asks quietly.
Scott shakes his head, "They will be," he insists. "They have to be."
Coach walks up to them, "McCall. We need you on the team, okay? You know I can't put you on the field next season if you don't get your grades up," he tells him.
Scott nods, "Yeah, I know, coach."
"All right," Coach nods, hesitating slightly. "I mean, I know I yell a lot, but it's not like I hate you guys. Well, I kind of hate Greenberg," he admits. "But, you know, that's different. It's Greenberg. I'm just saying we -- I need you on the team. Get your grades back up."
"I will," assures Scott.
Coach pats him on the shoulder, "I know."

Sky's body jerks as the shocks wears off from another surge of electricity coming from the wires connected to her. Her wrists were raw from where they were tied tightly above her head and her mouth covered with tape from shouting out too many threats and curses. She looks to her left, seeing Boyd and Erica next to her, staring at her in concern as blood drips from her nose.
She lifts her head as the door opens and Stiles comes stumbling through, Gerard right behind him.
Stiles moves towards them, flinching back as he gets shocked by a wire, "Shh. Ow!" he exclaims, staring wide-eyed at the werewolves.
"It's electrified," Gerard informs him with a smirk.
"What are you doing with them?" Stiles gapes.
"At the moment, just keeping them comfortable. Well, mostly," Gerard shrugs with a glance at Sky. "There's no point in torturing them, they won't give Derek up. The instinct to protect their Alpha's too strong."
"Okay," breathes Stiles. "So what are you doing with me and Sky? Because Scott can find us, all right? He knows our scent. Mine's pungent, you know?" he tells him. "It's more like a stench. He could find me even if I was buried at the bottom of a sewer covered in faecal matter and urine. And Sky's his twin, nothing could stop him from finding her."
Gerard raises his brows, "You have a knack for creating a vivid picture, Mr Stilinski. Let me paint one of my own. Scott McCall finds his best friend and sister bloodied and beaten to a pulp. How does that sound?" he asks, ignoring Sky as she yanks on her binds.
"I think I might prefer more of a still life or landscape, you know?" Stiles mutters, eyeing him. "What are you, ninety? Look, I can probably kick your ass up and down this room," he says confidently.
Without warning, Gerard lunges forward and hits Stiles in the face, making him stumble, "Okay. Wait," Stiles tries, caught off guard. "Wait, wait," Gerard hits him again, and he falls to the floor. "Okay, wait, wait!"
Sky shouts from behind the tape on her mouth and Gerard quickly leans over and flips a switch, making her convulse as painful shocks of electricity hit her. Her screams are muffled as Gerard moves back to Stiles.
He hits him again.

Ariel steps back with wide eyes when she sees Derek with none other than Peter Hale by his side, half-stepping behind Scott.
"What the hell is this?" Scott frowns, looking at the Hales.
"You know," says Derek. "I thought the same thing when I saw you talking to Gerard at the sheriff's station."
"Okay, hold on," Scott hold his hands up. "He - he threatened to kill my mom. And I had to get close to him. What was I supposed to do?"
Peter shrugs, "I'm gonna go with Scott on this one. Have you seen his mom?" he asks. "She's gorgeous."
"Shut up," Scott and Derek tell him.
Isaac looks lost, "Who is he?" he asks.
Scott sighs, "That's Peter, Derek's Uncle," he tells him. "Little while back, he tried to kill us all, and then we set him on fire, and Derek slashed his throat."
Peter waves with a smile, "Hi," Ariel rolls her eyes.
"That's good to know," Isaac nods.
"How is he alive?" Scott asks Derek.
"Yeah," mutters Ariel, sending a look of disdain in Peter's direction. "Shouldn't he be all crispy?"
Derek rolls his eyes, "Look, the short version is he knows how to stop Jackson," he tells them. "And maybe how to save him."
"Well, that's very helpful except Jackson's dead," Isaac says bluntly.
Derek blinks, "What?"
"Yeah," Scott confirms. "Jackson's dead. It just happened on the field."
"He killed himself with his own claws," Ariel tells them.
"Okay," Isaac says, eyeing the Hale's reactions. "Why is no one taking this as good news?"
"Because if Jackson is dead, it didn't just happen," Peter says. "Gerard wanted it to happen."
"But why?" Derek questions.
"Well, that's exactly what we need to figure out. And something tells me the window of opportunity is closing." Peter tells them. "Quickly."

"Yeah, I'm not finding any clues here," the Sheriff tells Melissa over the phone. "Listen, if he -- if they show up at the hospital -- okay, thanks," he hangs up the phone. "Oh, come on, Stiles. Where the hell are you?" he mutters.
"Right here," Stiles's voice calls out and the Sheriff turns around quickly, sighing in relief when he sees his son standing in the doorway, rushing up to hug him tightly.
"It's okay. Dad, it's okay," Stiles reassures.
The Sheriff pulls back, turning angry when he sees the bruises on Stiles's face, "Who did it?" he asks. "Where's Sky? Is she okay?"
"It's okay," Stiles shakes his head. "I took Sky home to rest. It was just a couple of kids from the other team. You know, they were really pissed about losing and I was --" he hesitates. "I was mouthing off, you know. The next thing I know --"
"Who was it?" the Sheriff asks again.
"Dad, I don't know. I didn't even see them really."
"I want descriptions."
Stiles sighs, "Look, dad, come on. It's not even that bad. Sky's --" he pauses, thinking of Sky's current state. "Okay."
"I'm calling that school," the Sheriff tells him, still angry. "I'm calling them and I'll personally go down there, and I'm gonna pistol-whip these little bastards!"
"Dad!" Stiles exclaims. "I just -- I said I was okay."
Sheriff breathes out, hugging him again, "God."
***
"Oh," Scott sags in relief as he reads the message on his phone from the Sheriff. "Oh, they found Stiles and Sky," he looks to Ariel. "Sky's at home."
Ariel nods, a huge weight lifting off her chest knowing Sky was okay, "I'll go and check on her," she tells him, turning and leaving without a second thought.
Scott's phone rings again, "Hey, Mom, they found Sky. She's at home but I can't talk right now."
"Oh, thank god," Melissa mutters in relief. "Well, I'm so freaked out that I can barely talk either," she tells him.
Scott frowns, "What's wrong?"
Melissa looks down at Jackson's body that looked like it was changing, "Something -- Definitely something," she tells him. "I don't know what, but I think you're gonna want to see this for yourself."

Ariel lets herself into Sky's house as she follows the sound of her heartbeat, jogging up the stairs to her bedroom.
She cracks open the bedroom door, frowning when the room is dark and quiet, slowly walking up to the bed where Sky lays under the covers facing away from her. A glass of water and a wet flannel was placed at her bedside and it looked like she had been put to bed -- most likely by Stiles.
Ariel carefully sits at the edge of the bed, "Sky?"
Sky lifts the covers over her head, "I'm not here."
"Well, in that case, I'm rather worried about who else could be in your bed right now," Ariel remarks, leaning to place a hand on her side. "Now, please look at me. I need to see that you're okay."
Sky sighs from beneath the covers, "Promise not to get mad?"
Ariel blinks, "Why would I -- ?"
"Just promise."
"Have you done something?"
"Ariel," Sky groans.
"Fine," Ariel relents, though she still eyes her worriedly.
Slowly, Sky pulls the covers back and carefully turns, wincing as she does. She looks at Ariel, brushing the hair out of her face.
Ariel inhales sharply as she stills, staring at Sky with wide eyes, trying not to lose control. Sky's lacrosse gear had been taken off and she was laying in a sports bra, marks covering her abdomen from where she was electrocuted.
What was worse was her face. Ariel assumes it must have been worse before she had arrived, and was almost thankful that she wasn't there to see what state she was in before her healing had kicked in.
Sky's eye's were bruised -- both of them-- and there were red smudges across her mouth and nose, presumably from where she had bled. Her lip was split, and there was a scratch along her right cheek -- looking like someone had hit her wearing a ring.
Ariel stands up, turning away from the sight as she tries to control her breathing -- trying to keep her promise, "Who --?" she asks, covering her face with a hand.
Sky sighs, standing up despite the pain, walking up behind her and wrapping her arms around her waist from behind. She rests her head against Ariel's shoulder, "Does it need saying?"
Ariel's shoulders sag, standing there for a moment, "I know we joked about it, but I definitely want to kill that old man now," she whispers, completely serious.
Sky chuckles, "Believe me, I know," she mumbles. "I'm never underestimating an old person ever again," she tries to joke.
Ariel turns in her arms, "If anyone with a wrinkle ever tries to go near you again I'll kick them in the face," she promises.
Sky snorts, "My hero."
"You're never leaving my sight again," Ariel tells her, ignoring the strange sense of foreboding that washes over her as she says it.
"Oh, the horror."
Sky sighs when she hears an alert come through both of their phones and Ariel moves to grab hers for her, frowning when they see texts from Scott.
Jackson wasn't as dead as they thought.
***
"You're alone," Scott notes as Chris Argent approaches him and Isaac as they move Jackson's body.
Chris nods, almost solemnly, "More than you know."
"What do you want?"
"We don't have much in common, Scott," Chris says. "But at the moment, we have a common enemy."
"That's why I'm trying to get him out of here," Scott says, motioning to the body on the ground.
Chris shakes his head, "I didn't mean Jackson," he tells him. "Gerard has twisted his way into Allison's head, the same way he did with Kate. And I'm losing her. And I know you're losing her too."
Scott sighs, "You're right," he admits. "So can you trust me to fix this? Then can you let us go?"
"No," Chris tells him. "My car is faster."
***
"I'm here for Jackson. Not you," Chris tells Derek when they arrive.
"Somehow, I don't find that very comforting," Derek replies. He motions to the bodybag. "Get him inside."
Scott nods, and soon they move into the abandoned building they had met at. They all tense when a car pulls up, but relax when two familiar figures jump out of the car.
"Scotty!" calls Sky, grinning.
"Sky," Scott breathes, rushing over to hug her tightly. "You're okay."
"Of course I am," Sky rolls her eyes, glad she has almost fully healed. She steps back, eyeing the body bag on the floor. "But that's not," she mutters.
Scott also steps back, sending a nod to Ariel as he turns back around to Derek, "Where are they?" he asks.
Derek frowns, "Who?"
"Peter and Lydia,"Â Scott clarifies. "Whoa, hold on a second. You said you knew how to save him."
"Wait, Lydia? Where is she?" Ariel asks, frowning at Derek.
Derek waves them off, "We're past that."
Scott shakes his head, "What about --"
"Think about it, Scott," Derek reasons. "Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. And he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even bigger and more powerful."
Chris shakes his head, "No. No, he wouldn't do that," he tells him. "If Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid, and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live."
"Of course not," Gerard's voice calls out, making them all turn to see him standing at the other side of the room. "Anything that dangerous, that out of control is better off dead."
Derek lunges to kill Jackson once and for all, but Jackson's clawed hand snaps up and grabs him as he wakes, plunging his other hand into Derek and throwing him across the room.
Gerard looks to Scott, a pleased look in his eyes, "Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me."
Scott ducks when an arrow shoots past him and into Isaac, making him fall with a grunt.
"Allison?" Scott calls, spotting her moving through the shadows.
Sky and Ariel run over to Isaac, each grabbing an arm as they haul him out of the line of fire.
"Oh, my god," Sky mutters. "You're heavier than you look."
"Not the time," Ariel hisses, making Sky wince as they pull him along, hearing gunfire as Chris shoots at a transforming Jackson.
Isaac stops them, "No, no, I'm okay," he moves to stand up. "Let's go."
The girls straighten and Sky looks at Ariel, "Can you turn?" she asks.
Ariel hesitates for a moment before nodding, a determined look crossing her face. Her eyes start to glow as she and Sky turn. They move to stand with Scott, Isaac and Derek, facing the Kanima.
Sky bares her teeth as she growls at it, all of them rushing forward to attack, not noticing Peter watching them.
***
Sky grunts as she's knocked to the ground, lifting herself up again only for her eyes to widen as she spots Allison join the fight, attacking the werewolves.
Ariel turns with a growl as Allison pulls her knives out of Isaac's back, "Stop this, Allison," she warns, eyes burning bright as she moves in front of Derek, blocking Allison from attacking him.
Allison drops her knives as the Kanima grabs her from behind, restraining her. She looks toward her grandfather in shock.
"Not yet, sweetheart," Gerard tells her, shaking his head at her as he steps out of the shadows, watching as the Kanima grips her neck.
"What are you doing?" she cries out, grasping at the hand squeezing her neck.
Sky cocks her head to the side as she straightens up, sharing a look with Scott, "He's doing what he came here to do. Aren't you, Gerard?" she says, lips curling into a sneer.
Gerard looks between them, "Then you know," he realises.
Ariel frowns at Sky, "What?"
"What's he talking about?" asks Allison.
Gerard narrows his gaze at Scott, "It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it?" he muses. "When I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?" he asks, eyeing Sky. "And you shared that knowledge with the person you trust most."
Isaac's head lifts in realisation as he smells it, "He's dying."
"I am," Gerard confirms. "I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does."
Chris glares at his father, "You monster."
Gerard smirks, "Not yet."
Allison squirms as the hold on her tightens, "What are you doing?" she asks.
"You'll kill her too?" Chris asks in disbelief.
"When it comes to survival, I'd kill my own son!" Gerard tells him. He looks to the twins, "Scott. Sky."
Sky moves first, "I've got it," she whispers to Scott as she walks over to Derek and grabs him by the shirt, hauling him up.
"Sky, don't," Derek pleads, weak from the fight as Sky drags him towards Gerard. "You know that he's gonna kill me right after. He'll be an Alpha."
Sky leans slightly closer to him, "Trust us," she whispers.
"That's true," says Gerard. "But I think they already know that don't you?" he smirks at Scott as he watches. "Scott knows that the ultimate prize is Allison. Do this small task for me, they can be together and their mom and Sky's little girlfriend can live," he tells them. Ariel stares at Sky, trying to figure out what she was doing.
"You are the only piece that doesn't fit, Derek," Gerard continues. "And in case you haven't learned yet, there is just no competing with young love."
Derek starts to struggle as they reach Gerard, despite Sky's reassurance, "Sky, don't! Don't!"
"Sorry, Derek," Sky mutters, before forcefully opening his jaw and making him bite Gerard, stepping back afterwards.
Gerard smiles triumphantly, lifting his arm up as he laughs, but they all stare as black blood starts to pour from the bite.
Gerard turns his glare onto Sky, "What? What is this? What did you do?" he demands to know.
Scott smirks as he steps forward to stand next to his sister, "Everyone said Gerard always had a plan. I had a plan too," Sky nudges him. "We had a plan," he corrects.
Gerard steps back as he stares at his arm, "No. No," he reaches into his pocket in realisation, pulling out the pills he had dropped and Scott had given back to him. "Mountain ash!" he shouts in anger.
Derek turns to them, "Why didn't you tell me?"
Sky scoffs, "Why would we?"
Scott nods, "You might be an Alpha, but you're not ours," he tells him.
"Kill them!" Gerard shouts to the Kanima, blood now dripping from his face. "Kill them all!"
But as the Kanima moves to attack, a familiar jeep comes bursting in, smacking right into the Kanima, knocking him down.
Stiles leans over Lydia in his passenger seat to get a look, "Did I get him?"
Sky blinks, "That was really good timing," she compliments.
Stiles nods with a grin as he gets out of the jeep, "I know!"
"Jackson!" Lydia shouts as she runs over to the body they had hit. "Jackson."
"Wait --" Scott calls, going to move forward, but Ariel stops him by moving an arm in front of him, shaking her head as she watches Jackson's reaction to Lydia.
Lydia runs in front of Jackson and holds out a single key, reminding him of them, their time together -- his humanity.
Jackson stares back as he turns more himself. He slowly moves back with a defeated nod and Derek moves towards him, going faster when Peter rushes out of the shadows, both of them embedding their claws into Jackson.
Ariel turns away from the sight, moving into Sky's arms as Jackson falls to the ground.
"Do you --" Jackson chokes out. "Do you still --"
"I do. I do still love you," Lydia cries as she hands him the key he once gave her. "I do, I do still love you. I do. I do still love you, I do."
The key falls to the ground as Jackson goes limp and Ariel rushes forward, hugging her sister tightly as she cries.
After a moment of silence, Allison looks around, frowning, "Where's Gerard?" she asks, seeing he had gone.
"He can't be far," Chris tells them, not intending for him to get away that easily.
The sound of claws scraping against the concrete floor makes them all look over in shock as Jackson's body moves, coming to life yet again. But this time, as he stretches out, his eyes are blue -- transitioning into a werewolf.
Realising he was okay, Lydia runs to him and they embrace tightly.
Sky glances over to Stiles as he watches Lydia in Jackson's arms. He notices her stare and quickly wipes away a tear that had fallen on his cheek, "Scratched my jeep," he mumbles.
Sky rolls her eyes fondly, though a sad sigh escapes her lips, "Oh, come here, you," she mutters, grasping his hand and letting him lean his head on her shoulder.

"You haven't told him everything yet, have you?" Peter drawls as he, Derek and Isaac walk back up to the Hale house the following morning.
Isaac turns to them, confused, "What do you mean?"
Peter rolls his eyes, "Why do you think Derek was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power and his number?" he asks. "When there's a new Alpha, people take notice."
"People like who?" Isaac wonders, he points to a new mark that had been carved into the front door. "What is this? What does this mean?"
Derek steps forward, "It's their symbol," he tells him. "And it means they're coming."
"Who?"
"Alphas."
Isaac frowns, "More than one?" he asks.
Derek nods, "A pack of them."
"An Alpha pack," Peter corrects. "And they're not coming. They're already here."
