accident six: practice

Accidentally - JIKOOK ✓

Nervous by the neighborhood.

Vote and comment for a dedication.

It was a few days later, late at night, when Jungkook decided he needed to talk to someone, anyone who could take all of the jumbled thoughts in his brain and lay it all down like tarot cards and figure his feelings out for him.

He just didn't know who to talk to.

But what had caused the youngest to make that decision, was a little accident.

They were practicing, Jungkook was full of energy he didn't want to stop, so when all the members had called it a day, he told them he would stay and dance a little more, and Jimin stayed with him of course, saying he needed to perfect his moves as an excuse, when he actually needed to carry on with his plan.

The rest of the members answered with okays and nods and left the dance room.

At first, Jungkook and Jimin danced separately, each one of them working on different moves, until they perfected them, after a while Jimin got tired so he sat on the floor calming his breathing down and drinking some water, watching Jungkook who was still dancing.

That boy never got tired.

Jungkook noticed the older was watching, so he tried to dance as perfectly as he could, wanting to impress him, and he sure did.

Jungkook was wearing an oversized white shirt, completely see through due to the sweat and the lighting.

And Jimin tried not to drool at the sight.

Turning off the music, Jungkook just stood there breathing heavily and looking at Jimin, who was already staring at him with a look that made Jungkook flustered.

he has never looked at him like that, and Jungkook felt some sort of tension grow.

You have to show him a different side to you, like you're a whole new person.

Getting up from his sitting position, Jimin took slow steps, not breaking eye contact, going over to the younger and standing right infront of him, "Why don't we dance to something together?" Jimin suggested, reaching over to the iPod connected to the speakers right behind Jungkook, who wasn't breathing anymore, just staring at Jimin and not saying anything, "Kookie?"

"Huh? What did you say hyung?" Jimin thought that was enough teasing, he could already feel the dance room being filled with sexual tension so he stepped back from Jungkook, giving the boy a chance to breathe, and he did.

"Let's dance together, c'mon press play, I already chose the song." Jimin said, getting into position, and once Jungkook looked at the song he knew his position too, and they started dancing.

The song did nothing to help the growing sexual tension.

Jungkook wasn't even looking at himself in the mirror now, he couldn't take his eyes off Jimin.

And Jimin noticed, he even turned his face to look at the taller, giving him a smirk.

What was happening here?

Jungkook felt weird, like someone had turned the AC temperature all the way up.

Sure, he was feeling hot and sweaty from all the dancing, but this kind of hot felt different, he was very warm, when he realised he had a problem.

A growing problem.

Panicking, the younger considered running out of the room as fast as he could, but he tried to stay calm, the song was about to end anyway, and he could try to hide it and go to the bathroom, he convinced himself.

he didn't want to cause a scene.

The last minute of the song felt like a whole hour.

Jungkook felt like he was burning, each move he made was hard -no pun intended- to do and Jimin, the lighting, the music, weren't exactly helping his case, so as soon as the song ended, Jungkook yelled a "I have to go the bathroom, hyung, sorry!" And ran out of the room.

Jimin pretended not to know what was wrong with the raven.

So now back to Jungkook's decision, he just had to find someone who would listen to him, not laugh at him, not let out his little secret, and specially someone who would tell him what to do.

Taehyung? No, he's Jimin's soulmate, not his, and he can't exactly go up to him asking for advice about his best friend.

Yoongi? No, he must be asleep already.

Namjoon? No, wouldn't want to burden him, his role as a leader is enough.

Hoseok? No, he's gonna tell him to do something crazy like go confess or something.

Jin? "Omg! Jin hyung!" Jungkook shouted running out of his room and out the hallway.

"What?! Jungkook! Is your room on fire?!" Jin put his hand on his chest, actually scared there was a fire, which caused the younger to laugh and close Jin's door behind him.

"No hyung, I just have a problem and I needed to talk to someone so I figured I'd talk to you." Jungkook admitted nervously, rubbing the back of his neck and shuffling his feet.

Jin, guessing what the maknae wanted to talk about, patted the spot beside him on the bed and turned his TV screen off, silently telling the younger that he's all ears.

Going over to Jin's bed and sitting beside him, Jungkook started, "I- uh, I don't actually know where to start." He told nervously.

"It's okay, just start from the very beginning, we've got all night." Jin told Jungkook softly, glad Jungkook was venting to someone, he knew how the younger had a hard time figuring out his own feelings, and it was easier for him to figure them out while talking and actually letting them out.

"Okay." The raven haired boy cleared his throat, "It's actually about Jimin hyung.." he trailed off, waiting for his hyung's reaction.

"And?" Jin raised his eyebrows, looking at him with a knowing look.

"Wait! What! You knew?" Jungkook looked at him, his eyes wide, scared that now the whole world knew, and he was actually too obvious.

Grabbing the pillow beside him, Jin smacked Jungkook on the head, "Yes you idiot, you two are too obvious." Jungkook raised his hands infront of him in defence, begging the older to stop, "I saw you two in the kitchen, that day, when Jimin kissed you on the cheek and you freaked out like a school girl with a crush." Jin whisper shouted.

"Wait, what do you mean by you two?"

"I think Jimin likes you too, and don't tell me it's not true, or I'm gonna smack you again." Jin threatened, reaching for the pillow again just to prove it.

"Okay, okay, I won't. Just hear me out, I'm confused, it's not just that I don't think he likes me like that, it's more about the fact that I don't think I like him like that." Jungkook admitted saying it quietly he actually felt like he was lying to himself, but he couldn't help it, it was his first time feeling like that towards someone, so he couldn't be sure if it was genuine romantic feelings or just admiration.

"Well, what do you feel when Jimin walks into the room?" Jin went with the obvious, already knowing the answer because he saw it first hand.

"I- I don't see anything or anyone else but him, it's like the rest of the world is irrelevant." Jin opened his mouth in surprise, not expecting an answer that deep, he thought Jungkook just liked Jimin, nothing deeper than that, but now he believed Jungkook was already falling for the older.

"When did you start feeling this way, Jungkook?" Jin tested, hearing another unexpected answer.

"Since we debuted actually." Jungkook blushed, that was his first time admitting outloud that he had a thing for Jimin, he has never questioned those feelings, because who wouldn't feel this way towards Jimin, you could say Jimin was Jungkook's bias.

"What! You're actually kidding!" When Jungkook shook his head Jin added, "So when that kiss happened.."

"Yeah I liked it." And now Jin wanted to scream but refrained from doing so, afraid any of the members would hear.

"I don't actually know what you're confused about at this point Jungkook, it's pretty obvious that you like him, maybe even more, but let's not get into that just yet." Now Jin was the one confused, how did the younger have doubts about his feelings for Jimin after saying something like that.

"Hyung, what if I like him but just as a fan likes his idol? Isn't that possible? I could just be starstruck or something, wouldn't one of Jimin's fans feel the same way if they were in my shoes?" Now Jungkook had a point, and Jin admired him even more, his baby bunny now all grown up and mature.

"Aww Jungkook-ah, you're all grown up now, I still remember the first day I saw you, you were an actual baby." He had to squish his cheeks now too overwhelmed with emotions.

"Hyung." Jungkook whined. "Let's not get sidetracked here, please help me figure out my feelings, please." Jungkook begged, he was already tired from the sleepless nights of overthinking he had ever since that kiss, doing nothing except watching jikook moments and questioning every little interaction he had with the older analysing himself in the videos more than he actually analysed Jimin.

"Okay Jungkook-ah I will help, but I'm calling it now, I'm gonna be the best man at the wedding." He teased, earning a smack on the head with the pillow from the younger. "Hey! don't hit your hyung like that! Do you wanna die?!" He shouted jokingly, laughing and smacking Jungkook's shoulder.

"How are you going to help? Can you tell me now?" Jungkook asked curiously, pretty excited about fixing his problem.

"I can't tell you now, but I have a solution and I'm gonna test it in a few days, but when I do you have to be honest with me right after, okay Jungkook-ah?" Jin warned, and Jungkook nodded. "So tell me. What else happened between you two that I haven't witnessed?"

so Jungkook told him about the time they practically cuddled in his bed.

And of course, about what happened today after they all left the dance room, with a red face and a shy voice.

"You had a what?!"
