It was 11:15 PM when Jin discovered he was right all along.

Back to the members' meeting..

"Jin, do you have something to tell us?" Jin looked at Namjoon, not sure if he should expose Jungkook's secrets.

On one hand he wanted to stay loyal to the younger, but on the other hand he actually wanted to help him, and as far as he could tell, Jungkook and Jimin weren't making any progress, and they could stay clueless about each other's feelings forever.

That thought made Jin consider telling the members to do something about the almost couple.

"I'm not sure if I should say anything Joonie." Jin trailed off. "How about you tell me what you all know?" When he overheard them talking before he entered the kitchen he didn't hear that much, only the bit about whether Jungkook locking himself in his room had anything to do with Jimin.

"Well, all we know now is how Jimin likes Jungkook, and he was confiding in Tae and Yoongi hyung but when that made things more complicated he stopped, and now they don't know anything else." Namjoon explained, trying to convince Jin to tell them what he knew, he had a feeling what Jin knew was a game changer.

"So I was right! Jimin likes Jungkook! I just knew. He was too obvious!" Jin slapped his hand on the kitchen isle, proud of himself for not giving Jungkook false hope, he was actually right.

"Yes he likes him okay? Now that we had that established we still don't know why they drifted apart for a whole week and whether Jungkook likes Jimin back or not!" Taehyung snapped, tired of them only talking about how Jimin liked Jungkook as if it was a case of an unrequited love.

Jin looked at Taehyung guiltily. "I actually know the answer to these two questions." He said quietly and Taehyung looked at him in shock moving to sit on the seat right in front of him and leaning his upper body on the cold marble giving him his full attention.

"Please elaborate." He said with a deathly quiet voice, he felt like killing someone at this point, all this time Jimin was suffering from heartbreak in vain.

"Well, you said Jimin confided in you right?" Taehyung nodded maintaining eye contact with Jin and hanging on his every word. "Jungkook did the same with me. I'm not gonna tell you much but all I can say is Jungkook likes Jimin back, and I actually have a question for you two." Jin pointed at Taehyung and Yoongi. Namjoon and Hoseok went to put a bag of popcorn in the microwave finding the story plot interesting.

"Shoot." Yoongi said, standing protectively beside Taehyung and crossing his arms against his chest.

"The night you went out with Jimin without inviting any of us-" Jin was interrupted by Hoseok.

"Yeah you betrayers!" He yelled, getting matching eyerolles from the betrayers themselves.

"Hoseok shut up!" Jin said and resumed his questioning. "I called Jimin that night, and asked him if he liked anyone and he said someone with black hair and a pale face." He trailed off. "Was that you, Yoongi?" Jin turned to look at him studying his reaction.

Taehyung was the one to answer the question. "What?! No!" Namjoon and Hoseok were eating their popcorn now, having first row seats to the drama performance happening in front of them.

"Jimin just panicked then, he didn't want you to set him up with anyone so he lied about liking a random person, looked at me and described how I looked." Yoongi shrugged. He had a feeling where this was going.

"Oh. So that was what happened then?" He sighed, disappointed in himself now that he had caused such a misunderstanding.

"We don't get it!" Namjoon and Hoseok said, waiting for Jin to further explain.

"Neither do I to be honest." Taehyung looked at Yoongi feeling lost.

Yoongi rolled his eyes again at the three of them. "That night Jin called Jimin, and asked whether he wanted to be set up on a blind date or if he already had someone he liked. When Jimin told Jin he already had someone he liked, Jin asked how they looked like, then Jimin panicked and described me because I was sitting right in front of him, 'cause if he described Jungkook it would be too obvious, but Jin misunderstood and thought Jimin actually liked me, and I'm guessing Jungkook was right beside you during that phone call and you told him and he came to the same conclusion. That's why he isolated himself from Jimin. Am I right?" The four members had their mouths wide open. A single popcorn dropped from Hoseok's mouth.

That might have been the longest Yoongi had spoken.

"And I'm the one watching Sherlock." The oldest mumbled.

"Are you too smart or am I just too stupid?" Taehyung wondered looking at Yoongi who just gave him his gummy smile.

"So now we know for sure Jimin and Jungkook like each other. What now?" Namjoon spoke up, saying what all of them had on their minds already.

"We have to put a plan to set them up!" Hoseok clapped in excitement.

Taehyung frowned. "I'm not so sure about this guys. I mean, the last time we tried to do that we failed miserably." He reasoned, respecting Jimin's wish of stopping their plans.

"Me too, I don't want to cause another misunderstanding." Jin murmured sadly, scared of hurting his dongsaeng again.

A light bulb lightened up in Namjoon's head. "I have an idea! How about we don't set them up, but help them get closer?" He looked at Yoongi who appeared to be the only one catching on to what he was insinuating and nodding in approval at the idea.

"I'm stupid again." Taehyung sighed staring into the void.

"Same." Hoseok let out, resting his chin on his hand.

Namjoon toke a deep breath to explain. "I mean we should do things like put them in teams together when we play games on run or have them both do the dishes or give them dinner duty, little things like that to push them together, maybe that would give them the chance to confess or something." He shrugged.

"That's actually a good idea, we would be like their guardian angels; helping them without interfering." Jin said with a dreamy look on his face.

"Sure you were watching Sherlock and not Goblin?" Hoseok sassed munching on the last of the popcorn and putting the bowl in the sink.

"Shut up!" Jin whined.

They heard a door being slammed shut.

"Shh! that must be them." Namjoon whispered.

"Are we having a party hyungs?"

It was 1:08 AM when the brunette snuck into Jimin's room.

Jungkook was still awake, watching a random show on the TV and looking at the sleeping mochi occasionally, playing with his hair. He saw the door being slowly opened, someone obviously trying to unnoticeably get into the room.

The younger waited for the culprit to open the door fully and go in, them taking quite a while to do so.

When Hoseok was fully in the room, he closed the door slowly, still with his back to Jimin and Jungkook -who he thought were both sleeping already- so when he finally turned around and found Jungkook awake, staring at him blankly like a slenderman he jumped in place clutching his chest in fear.

Jungkook looked like a ghost. The light emitting from the television screen not helping.

"You scared me you brat!" Hoseok whisper yelled, going over to sit beside Jungkook. Half of the bed was empty, given how Jimin was sleeping on Jungkook and not on the actual bed.

"Serves you right for scaring Jimin before lunch!" Jungkook retorted in a quiet voice not wanting to wake up the boy sleeping in his arms.

Hoseok scoffed. "Salty." He whispered back.

Jungkook made a mocking noise when he couldn't come up with a good comeback, resuming playing with Jimin's hair.

"Is he okay? He looks beat." Hoseok looked at Jimin in worry, he didn't see him when he came home, so that means he was still out when they all went to bed.

"He's a little tired, he exhausted his vocal cords. I don't know why he overworked himself though." Jungkook knew the reason alright. He knew the reason all too well, his muscles were still sore even after he took a hot shower, a simple reminder of how he overworked himself at the gym too.

Was Jimin hyung trying to distract himself too?

Hoseok sighed reaching over to play with Jimin's hair too. "Stupid Jimin." He murmured.

Wrong move.

Jungkook glared a little "Why were you sneaking into the room in the first place?" He whispered.

"Oh! I wanted to let you know you both have breakfast duty tomorrow." Hoseok remembered the mission he came for, getting up from the bed to make his escape, both from the younger's questioning and his scary glare.

"What? It's Yoongi hyung's turn tomorrow! And why is it me and Jimin-ssi and not one of us alone?" Jungkook smelled something fishy but he wasn't able to interrogate the escaping member any further.

"I don't know! Goodnight!" Hoseok whisper shouted before he walked out of the room closing the door behind him.

Jungkook sighed. "Looks like we have to wake up early tomorrow little one, I'm sorry." He looked down at Jimin and rubbed his back gently, smiling when Jimin hugged him tighter in his sleep.

Jimin was woken up early with the alarm.

Well, it was someone's alarm, because he was supposed to sleep for another hour.

He groaned, extending his arm blindly to turn the annoying crying baby sound off, but he couldn't reach.

Ugh Jungkook.

He shook the sleeping maknae under him, it seemed to be the only way he could wake him up, his voice was still not working properly.

"..ooie." he tried to call for the younger but he couldn't let out anything other than vowels.

Jungkook started to wake up at Jimin's whining. "Whah?" He looked up confusedly finding Jimin looking at him with a distressed look on his face. "Jimin? What's wrong are you okay?" Jungkook looked at Jimin in concern, it seemed he was still partially asleep, not recognising his alarm sound blaring in the room. Jimin pointed at Jungkook's phone and widened his eyes. "Oh!" Jungkook reached over and turned the alarm off. Jimin sighed in relief slumping down again on Jungkook's bare chest to continue sleeping. "Hey Jiminie, wake up. We have breakfast duty." Jimin looked up again at that.

"..ow?" Jimin asked, still not being able to speak fully. When Jungkook noticed, he tried to get up, but Jimin prevented him from doing so; still laying on top of him, and holding him down even more when he saw him trying to get up, still in need of their morning cuddles. "..ooo!" Jimin protested, trying to say no and only letting out the oh sound.

"You need to drink something, Jimin-ssi. C'mon! Up! Up!" Jungkook scolded. He felt like he was waking up a little kid for school. Specially with the way Jimin was pouting and refusing to get up.

Jungkook had to improvise. So, he rolled them over, until Jimin was the one under him now.

Jungkook was planning on getting up after and dragging Jimin out of bed, but their position froze him in place.

It felt like some sort of deja-vu, it wasn't the first time they found themselves in this position.

Was the universe trying to tell me something?

Jungkook was afraid to look down at Jimin, knowing how he might lose his self-control at the sight before him.

He nearly did.

When he looked down he found Jimin already staring up at him, lips parted and eyes still sleepy. Jungkook was sure this was some sort of torture for something he did in his past life.

Not wanting to turn their morning awkward, Jungkook settled for an Eskimo kiss, leaning down and rubbing their noses together, and he was rewarded with a killer eye crescent smile.

Jungkook got up and dragged Jimin by the arm like he had planned, going to the bathroom and handing Jimin his toothbrush just like he did every morning.

When they were done with their morning routine they headed to the kitchen. Jungkook went to get Jimin a bottle of water and handed it to him. "Drink up, and try to speak again after. Okay?" Jimin nodded obediently. "Good boy." Jungkook ruffled Jimin's hair. The older slapped him on the shoulder shyly.

Jimin drank half of the small bottle, and cleared his throat a few times after. "Kookie?" He managed to let out. His voice was croaky and quiet but it was a good start.

"Yes baby?" Jungkook replied automatically, busy with taking out the ingredients for their breakfast.

Jimin blushed, still not used to Jungkook's pet names. "Why do we have breakfast duty?" He quietly said, taking another sip of water when his throat dried up again.

"I don't even know. Hoseok hyung snuck into our room last night and told me. When I asked him how, he literally escaped. So, here we are." Jungkook said continuing to set the ingredients on the kitchen counter.

At that moment Jungkook's brain was going:

Eggs. Milk. Bread. Eggs again. Butter. Butter. Butter.

Meanwhile Jimin's brain only had one word;

Our.

Jungkook had said it without thinking, and that was exactly what made Jimin happy. If someone looked at him in that moment, they would see light literally radiating off him from how happy he was by that small word.

"Our." He let out without noticing he actually said it out loud.

"Hmm? Our what Jimin-ssi?" Jimin was right. Jungkook didn't even notice he said it. if that was possible Jimin's smile got even wider.

Jimin walked over to Jungkook, kissing him on the cheek. "Nothing." He waved off. "What should I do?" He looked up innocently at Jungkook, who was trying to pull himself together.

Get a grip. He does it every day. When are you gonna get used to it?

Never..

"Oh! Uh, you're gonna make french toast and I'm gonna make some scrambled eggs and bacon and cut up some fruits." Jungkook moved Jimin by the waist to stand in front of the ingredients he put out. "Here. I laid everything out for you." He then went to get his phone, deciding to play some music.

After he set his phone on a safe spot on the counter he started to cut up the fruits. Humming to the song currently playing and swaying his hips, Jimin whisking the eggs, milk, and sugar mix, harmonising with Jungkook.

When everything was cooking on the stove; the scrambled eggs, fruits, and half of the french toast done already, Jungkook turned to Jimin, who was already looking at him.

Jimin raised his eyebrows in question. Jungkook just extended his hand to him when the next song started playing. It was a slow song, fit for a dance in the kitchen.

"May I?" Jungkook went overboard and got on one knee, proposing a dance to the young man in front of him.

Jimin blushed. He had the urge to slap Jungkook on the shoulder again for making him shy, but he held back, not wanting to ruin their moment, and instead put his hand in Jungkook's. "You may." Jungkook smiled and stood up, clutching Jimin's hand in his.

Like puzzle pieces that knew which side matched the other, Jungkook pulled Jimin to him by the waist, and Jimin rested his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. With their hands still locked, both boys swayed to the music, finding harmony in each other, both with their movements and their souls.

It felt like their feet weren't even touching the ground anymore when they looked into each other's eyes.

Their eyes made silent promises of love.

Jungkook had never been in love before. If someone asked him what love was before he saw Jimin for the first time in that first meeting before their debut, he wouldn't know the answer.

He was still a kid. He didn't know any better. It seemed like he grew up with some of the best people in the world, and later realised how he fell for one of them.

Now finding out the true meaning of love.

Love was Jimin.

Everything made sense to them at that moment. Life wasn't so complex anymore. Everything has evaporated, love being the only thing unmoving.

Jungkook slowly pulled Jimin even closer, and rested their foreheads together.

Can someone dare tell me why I shouldn't kiss him right now?

"Jungkook." Jimin said monotonously.

"Yes baby?" Jungkook was still in their little world it seemed.

Jimin continued with a robotic voice. "The food is burning." Jungkook jumped to the stove, eyes wide and hands fumbling to turn the stove off, when he looked at the food and didn't find anything burned, he looked back at Jimin who was muffling his laughter by his hand.

"You little rascal!" Jungkook let out a laugh in disbelief. Jimin finally bursting out in loud laughter, his eyes tearing up from how much he was laughing. Every time he replayed Jungkook's reaction in his head he laughed even harder. "Oh! You think this is funny? I'll show you funny!" Jimin's eyes widened, when he realised what Jungkook was planning to do he ran away still laughing. Jungkook ran after him, and it didn't take much time for him to capture the shorter, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and lifting him up in the air. "C'mon. You're gonna get punished." He turned Jimin around and threw him over his shoulder.

Jimin couldn't stop laughing. He was upside down, Jungkook holding him with one arm around his thighs, he gave his butt a slap. "Put-" laugh. "me-" another laugh. "down." Jungkook moved to the living room and threw Jimin on the couch sitting on top of him to trap him, and started tickling him.

"Is someone being tortured?" Yoongi walked in the living room, still rubbing his eyes.

That was Jungkook's cue to stop tickling Jimin who was out of breath. He looked up at Yoongi. "Oh! Hyung, good morning!" He greeted, still sitting on top of Jimin who was still letting out little giggles.

"Morning, kook. Why are you both up so early? Breakfast is gonna take a while I just woke up. Sorry." Yoongi mumbled, embarrassed.

Jungkook stood up at that. "What do you mean hyung? Didn't you give us breakfast duty? We already finished making breakfast." He waved his hand in the direction of the kitchen.

"What? Why?" Yoongi's mind wasn't catching up to him yet, unintentionally exposing Hoseok's plan.

"Hoseok hyung told me last night. Didn't explain why though."

A light bulb went on in Yoongi's head. "Oh! Yeah, I forgot. We made a new arrangement. Habit I guess." He said sheepishly. "You already made breakfast you said?" He made an escape to the kitchen.

Jungkook's eyes followed Yoongi suspiciously. That fish scent waved in front of his nose again.

Jimin finally got up after he regained his breath. "What was that?" He looked at Jungkook in confusion, apparently the same smell got to him.

Jungkook shrugged. "We'll find out eventually." He reached for Jimin's hand, pulling him to the kitchen to enjoy their unburned food. "C'mon wifey, let's eat breakfast."

Jimin's laugh rang through the dorm.
