The original video

"KC be honest with me. What happened? Who kidnapped my Kemi because I don't believe the person I saw." I said, strolling to KC.

I had stopped crying at the back of the school and I still didn't believe anything.

Even if the whole class were against me, I wouldn't care because my best friend would be by my side the whole time.

"Me neither but I believe it has something to do with Rosemary" She told me.

"Yeah, but how did everyone know about the video all of a sudden?" I asked.

"Well, you know, you came a little later than everyone else so a lot happened. Rosemary barged into the class and walked around showing of her phone, then she started saying you and Daniel kissed. That's when Kemi walked out and began to tell to shut up. He told her to mind what she says and that's when she showed us..the video."

She paused for a moment, looking at me and I nodded for her to continue.

"Kemi got really really angry, he grabbed her phone and almost threw it on the floor that's what gained our attention and those who cared, got the phone out of his reach".

"So you can say Kemi's a pretty good friend". She told me.

"I know that, but if he did all that why did he act totally different towards me?" I asked in confusion.

"Don't know, I guess you just have to ask him." She said.

I watched as Rosemary walked out of the class with Williams.

It was suspicious enough that they were whispering to each other but I decided I would figure that out later.

"Kemi what's up?" I asked him and took the empty seat beside him.

"Nothing" He said, his eyes not leaving the comic book in front of him.

"You didn't really think I would kiss Daniel did you?" I asked.

He dropped the book and turned to me.

"It doesn't really seem like something you would do but it's hard to not believe it when I know you've had a soft spot for him since JSS 1" He said.

"I don't anymore, remember you told me to stop crushing on him because of how I always got bullied by Kosi? Think about it Kemi, Do I really have enough confidence to kiss a boy in public?" I chuckled, "My confidence would never get as high as that".

"First of all, I believe your confidence would grow stronger one day and secondly, you're right. But how do you explain the video?" He asked me.

"Kemi" I called.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"Do you trust me?" I asked him.

"Yeah, 100%" He said.

"You know what they say, Actions speaks louder than words. Show me you trust me." I told him.

"How?" He asked.

"By helping me get rid of the video before the rumor gets to the Principal's hearing". I told him.

"Kemi, should I tell you why that video is fake?"

"Yeah".

"We're in the 21st century where there's a lot of technology and apps to do a lot of stuff. There are apps for editing videos, cropping and making illusions like this."

"You're right, Tega" He said.

"So we're good now?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm really sorry. This just shows how much of a terrible friend I am" He said, face palming himself.

"Don't worry about it ok?" I asked and he nodded.

"Hi Zane" I called loud enough for him to hear, as I walked akwardly towards him.

After I and Kemi's discussion, I decided to look for Zane.

He needs to know I'm completely single just incase we become a thing in the future!

I found him ,alone, in the hall with an ear piece in his both ears and connected to a phone.

"Hey Tega" He said calmly, acting shy as always.

"Look, about the kissing video–" I started off but he cut me short.

"No, no need explaining. Kemi explained everything." He said.

I took a closer look at the phone.

"Isn't that Kemi's phone?" I asked.

"Yeah, want it?" He asked, handing me the phone.

"Thanks" I said and took a seat beside him.

I had never used a phone before except my parents' to play games so I didn't know much about using a phone.

I swiped up and looked for apps that started with letter P for Photos like I usually do in my parents' phone.

I found an app with a camera icon and clicked on it. Believe me, I was very shocked that Kemi didn't have a single photo in his gallery.

I shook my head in disbelieve and went to camera.

"Zane, let's do Kemi a favor" I told him, smiling.

"How?" He asked.

"Selfies" I said.

"I'm not a fan of pictures" He smiled shyly.

"Don't worry, just this once time" I said.

And we began to take selfies. I did most of the smiling in the pictures while Zane just stared at me. Really, it was so hard not to blush. Sometimes he caught me blushing and smiled back.

"Okay I think we're do–"

"I got her phone!!" Kemi yelled as he ran into the hall.

"Whose phone?" I asked.

"Rosemary's" He replied.

He put on the phone and entered her password.

I gasped, "You know her password?" I asked.

"Yeah, She told me for "security" reasons" He chuckled, "Stupidity!".

He quickly entered her gallery, went to a place called library and saw two of the videos.

He played the first, then the second.

"I told you, it was fake. The first one was when I left Daniel and went home. She edited it and made the second video. See the name on the bottom of the second video" I said.

Kemi deleted both videos because he said that if he left the first one she could make the same video again with the original.

"Guys, what I don't get is why Rosemary would do this. I mean, she's not hating on anyone and she doesn't seem smart enough to do something like this, something's wrong" Zane said.

"Yeah, but now that I got my friends back all I care about is the Christmas party" I said, then facing Kemi I said again,"Sister Kemo's back!".

His smile widened, "No way, that's awesome. I'm coming to your house today, she's owing me meatpie".

"Since when" I laughed.

"You can go to her house?" Zane asked.

"Yeah" Kemi replied.

Zane muttered something under his breath and went out of the hall.

"By the way, I'm not coming to school until the day of the Christmas party so bye" He said.

Kemi and I waved good bye at him. Then, I showed him the pictures Zane and I took in his gallery.

"Tega, uuuh! There are too much selfies here, most of it are not even clear" He said and tried to delete them.

I snatched the phone from him and began to run away with it.

"Oh no, you didn't. Come back here with my phone!" He yelled, but I didn't stop, I continued to run until I bumped into someone.

I looked up and saw the school principal. She looked down at me and collected the phone.

"Mannerless!" She said, and walked off with the phone.

Kemi finally caught up with me and turned me around.

"Where's my phone?" He asked.

I smiled nervously and pointed at the Principal who was walking out of the school gate.

"Seriously?!" He yelled and ran after her. I just stood there not knowing what to do.
