Jimin's POV

I tumbled to the ground with a groan, shifting back to my human self as Jungkook shifted too.

He panted with wide eyes, in front of me as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Are you insane? Jimin, you barely had any training!" Jungkook argued as I rose to my feet and marched towards him.

With a frustrated shout, I pushed him. He stood still as a rock with an empathetic but emotionless face. I shoved him again and again, but he hardly moved.

"He deserves to die!" I said angrily as my eyes started to well up with tears.

Jungkook grabbed me harshly but pulled me into his chest, holding me tightly against him as I sobbed against his chest.

"He killed me, Jungkook. He killed me." I whimpered, shaking uncontrollably.

Jungkook ran his fingers through my hair and nodded. "It's okay. I'll assemble a group to track him down. He's lost a lot of blood and it's only been a few days so I doubt he's back to his pack yet." I nodded and wiped my face.

Jungkook pulled away from me and looked down with his stern eyes. "You're not familiar with the wolf ways of punishment, and that's ok. We can do it the human way. But please don't be hasty, you'll only hurt yourself in the end. Otherwise we can do exactly what you want, Jimin. We'll get him for you." He promised, making me sniffle and nod.

"Okay." I whispered, looking to his ears which held the pearly white teeth of my murderer and his greatest enemy.

"Can we just go home?" I asked, rubbing my arms as I looked around the darkening forest.

"Of course, come on." He assured me as he took my hand in his and began to walk us towards our home.

"I'm sorry I acted out." I whispered after walking a few moments.

"It's okay, Jiminie." Jungkook said, squeezing my hand lightly.

"I shouldn't have done that. You're right. I don't know how to fight and I barely know how to shift. I just... I want him dead. He took me from you and I can't have that happen again." I said, looking up at Jungkook who was already staring down at me with his big eyes.

I looked away from his gaze as we continued to walk. We walked quietly back until the house came into view, making me feel a bit calmer.

Jungkook opened the door only to reveal a figure standing inside.

"Alpha, it's-" Taehyung started, turning and looking at us with wide eyes. He was frozen in his spot as he stared at me.

Jungkook coughed, making Taehyung step aside to let Jungkook walk us up the stairs. His face was the definition of surprised.

"We'll be down in a minute, Taehyung." Jungkook called.

I giggled at Jungkook as he smiled and tossed me some clothes from the closet as we were still naked.

"How are we supposed to explain this to him?" I asked as I pulled on a hoodie and stared at Jungkook with quizzical eyes.

He sighed and shrugged, "Tell him the truth but make sure he's sitting down." Jungkook teased.

I laughed and nodded as I walked over to him, wrapping my hands around his neck to pull him down for a kiss. "I love you so much." I whispered.

Jungkook's strong hands held my waist as he smiled into the kiss. "I love you too, my mate Jimin."

I blushed, pulling away from him. I had never heard my name with the word before and even though we weren't married by my human standards, we were married in werewolf standards and I was a werewolf now. I was his partner, his mate.

"I like the ring of that." I muttered against his lips.

Jungkook just smiled and pulled away from me. "Alright, come on. Taehyung is probably still freaking out downstairs."

I nodded and laced my fingers in his, walking down the stairs with him as Taehyung paced the floor.

"Hey." I greeted shyly as Taehyung quickly turned and stared at me.

Without a moment's hesitation, Taehyung ran over and engulfed me in a hug which made me laugh and hug him back.

"You were dead! Are you-are you real?" He questioned, pulling away to look me over with watering eyes.

"Yes, Taehyung. I'm very real... and very much like you." I hinted.

"Jimin, I missed you so much." Taehyung gave me a once over, "You're a werewolf. You lived." He smiled so wide and looked back and forth between me and Jungkook, astonished.

He shuffled on his feet, his eyebrows furrowed as he tried to piece things together, still in shock. "How long has he been alive? I-I saw him dead in your arms!"

Jungkook looked at Taehyung with his usual stern expression. "He's been back for four days now. Dead almost a week and back for four days." He clarified.

"We let Donghae go..." He quickly admitted to me, his eyes flicking between Jungkook and I with worrying eyes.

I sighed and looked down but nodded. "I know. Speaking of... I need a team of warriors to track him down alongside Jungkook and I."

Taehyung blinked. "Well... that is why I'm here. I'm here to inform you that we have captured him again."

Jungkook quickly pushed past me as the words slipped from Taehyung's mouth. "You what?"

"I came here to tell Jungkook we caught him and brought him back." Taehyung whispered.

"Why on earth did you do that? I mean, I appreciate it now but the initial order was to let him go." Jungkook protested.

I reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down as I looked at Taehyung with apologetic looks.

"He injured two of our scouts by setting fire to their tents on his way back to his pack." Taehyung said and Jungkook immediately calmed down upon hearing the act. "He's now in our prison."

"That bastard," Jungkook sighed heavily and looked at me with wary eyes. "Do you want to go see him?" He asked quietly, making sure I was ok to see my murderer and rapist.

I took in a deep breath but nodded. I was ready to kill him, end this once and for all. "Yes..." I whispered, looking up into Jungkook's eyes with determination.

⋆⋅☆⋅⋆

We walked down a long corridor of an underground facility I had never been in before.

Echoes of "Help!" "Hey sweet thing." "Get me out." and "Fuck you, Jeon!" rang through the hall as we passed cell after cell of the Jeon pack's enemies who had been locked up and stowed away for the world never to see again. I kept a brave face as we passed them.

"You're a real lucky guy, Jeon. I can smell the heat coming! He's gonna be a real good one." One of the men snarled. Something snapped inside of Jungkook as he instantly rushed to the cell and shoved a fist through the bars, punching the man square in the face.

"Jungkook!" I screamed, running to him and pulling him away as his fist bled. The others who had been locked away cheered with enthusiasm and excitement.

Jungkook just cocked his head and cracked it as we continued walking.

"What does he mean 'heat'?" I asked a while later.

"We can talk about that later." Jungkook growled as we turned a corner and metal doors appeared.

Taehyung and two other men walked behind us as we walked down the more contained cells.

A fire torch on the wall at the end flickered as we approached, making my skin go cold and my hairs raise with anxiety.

"He's in there." Taehyung instructed. I nodded and started to walk, Jungkook walking alongside me too.

I stopped and looked at Jungkook who looked down at me. "If you don't mind... can I go in alone?" I asked softly, hoping my pleading eyes would convince him.

Jungkook was hesitant, but he nodded and signaled to the guards to open the door.

I took a deep breath and walked inside. Donghae was chained to a wooden pole in the center of the room, his wrists tied behind his back and his feet were tied too, so all he could do was kneel next to the pole.

He looked up weakly, his skin pale, still absent of an eye, remained closed.

Donghae gave a gross smile, two canine sockets void of teeth, making him look almost Donghae-o-lantern like.

"Well, well, well. Definitely didn't expect you to come through that door. I thought I'd killed you." Donghae snickered, looking back at the wooden pole he was chained to.

"I thought you killed me too. But I came back. And I'm a werewolf now."

Donghae slowly looked up at me, glancing me over to make sure it was true what I was seeing. "Ain't that a fucking miracle." He growled, looking away.

"Jungkook told me what you said about me. That I'm weak." I interrogated, walking forward.

Donghae just looked down, avoiding my eyes. I felt the anger rise within me, and growing along with something else too. I closed my eyes, letting it take over me. The cell was cold, but I felt warm and cozy.

The first crack brought out a piercing cry from Donghae's mouth.

I opened my eyes, to see that his arm was bent at an old angle.

Donghae looked up with wide eyes. "W-what are you doing." He said breathlessly.

The second crack didn't show, but the sound echoed loudly in the cell.

"Fucking bitch!" He howled, glaring at me as he flopped over onto his right side and writhed like a worm on the ground. He gritted his teeth and groaned in agony.

I knew what was happening, and I smiled at the thought, "It hurts doesn't it? What you did to me and Narae?"

"You should be thanking me." Donghae said after a while in a wheeze.

"Why's that?" I asked with gritted teeth.

"You realize I've given you everything you've ever wanted, right? I've given you years with your mate, the ability to heal from any injury, and the power to become a beast of mass destruction; not to mention you're a human-turned-werewolf Luna. I mean... how many people get that in their lives?" Donghae countered, pointing out the 'perks' of this new life.

"I wasn't ready." I said, sternly, "I wasn't ready for this. Any of this. I didn't choose to become a werewolf, and you killed me." Anger, sadness, relief, longing, all kinds of emotions filled within me, overboiling. I will never be human again, the old Jimin is dead.

The third crack occurred at his foot, the ankle crooked to the side unnaturally.

"You're insane!" Donghae screeched as he kept wiggling in pain.

"No. I'm not insane, and I'm not the one doing this. It's Her, the moon goddess." I said, the warmth and coziness taking over me completely.

I closed my eyes again as more cracks sounded, and suddenly, I'm back at the giant white abyss full of glowing white lights.

"Hello," I said to the void.

"Jimin," the echoing sweet voice said, comfort engulfed me in an instant, I felt protected.

"Why didn't you save me?" I blurted out.

"Everything happens for a reason. It's all fate and destiny. All are written in the stars and moon."

The answer was ambiguous, but I decided to ask another question, I had so many. "Why didn't I die?"

"Luna, you're stronger than you think."

I furrowed my brows frustratedly, "Why is Donghae being punished right now?"

"Wars, fights, deaths. It's what makes a werewolf, what makes a pack. You, Luna, and all my dear children, are blessed by me. But Donghae, he strayed too far. He is no longer blessed, no longer my child."

I nodded slowly, trying to process her words.

"Go now, Luna."

And with that, the warmth left me, and I found myself standing in the cold cell again.

Opening my eyes, I looked down.

Donghae was lifeless on the ground, body mangled, just like how I was when I died.

I turned around, opened the cell door, revealed Jungkook and everyone else who instantly looked at me. I looked back with sad eyes.

I sniffed and wiped the back of my hand across my face, tears flowing out of my eyes like a water fountain.

"Jimin. Jimin!" Jungkook called, reaching out and grabbing me.

Tears were streaming down my face so fast and my bottom lip quivered with such violence, I thought it might drop off my face.

He looked at me sadly, pulling me into his chest to hold me as I sobbed, burying my face into his neck. He signaled to the men behind us to leave to give us some alone time and privacy.

"It's okay. It's okay. It's all over. He's dead." Jungkook soothed into my ear, rocking me in his arms. I cried miserably, the type of sob where you couldn't help but just look ugly.

He held me for a long time, but didn't move once. I pulled away after a while, looking up at him through soaked eyelashes.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked, still holding onto me as he stared into my eyes.

I nodded quickly and looked back in the direction of home. "I just want to be at home. I want it to all be over. I just want to be with you, with my pack, and be happy for once." I whispered.

"Okay. We'll do just that. I promise." Jungkook took my hand in his and we began the walk back. My head hurt and my body ached, but my heart and my soul felt relieved a little, the heaviness wearing off.

We walked out the cells, the sun dropped and as the moon began to rise in the sky, purple clouds swarling. I knew we were getting closer and closer to home.

I slowed and eventually stopped us just before the clearing of homes started, Jungkook looked at me in confusion as I stared ahead.

"Before we go back, I want to tell you something." I said, looking at him. He nodded and pulled me close to him, hugging me as I looked up at him with a smile.

"I want you to know that I love you. And now that he's dead and we are back together without having to worry, or anything like that... I think-" I babbled, looking down at the forest floor, unsure of how to say it.

Jungkook's index finger and thumb lightly touched the bottom of my chin, raising it slowly to meet his eyes as he smiled at me softly. My heart melted as I stared into his chocolate eyes. "I think I want to start a family." I whispered, "with you."

Jungkook's smile grew into a wide grin. "I think I want to, too." He murmured, leaning down and connecting his lips against mine. "No rush though."

I smiled into the kiss and stayed there for a while. Jungkook then continued to litter me with countless soft kisses, on my eyelids, my forehead, my cheeks, my nose, my jaw, everywhere.

I squirmed a bit and pulled away, squeezing his hand, and we started to walk again.

We walked for a while longer until the high ranking circle of homes came into view and a hundred or so flames glittered from the sight of the entire pack waiting for us as we got back.

Slowly, we stepped out of the trees and I stared back at the eyes of every single person in the pack holding torches, eager to see the Luna who lived and killed the greatest enemy of the Jeon pack.

I stared at them with wide eyes as they stared back, all excited at my presence.

Jungkook tightened his grip on my hand and suddenly raised it high into the air, and with a loud cheer, Jungkook yelled into the sky, "Your Luna!"
