Jimin's POV

A few days after

"Okay, breathe in." Jungkook said as he snaked a hand around my bare chest, the other placed gently on my upper back under my neck. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly moments after.

"Imagine changing, shifting, moving your bones to a different shape. Focus on the transformation. Envision yourself in a different form and when you feel the moment of pressure, take it in and push."

He pulled away from me and shifted into his giant black wolf as I continued to search through the darkness of my closed eyes, focusing on the feeling deep within me of shifting.

Something inside started building, building, building until I could feel my skin itch and my bones ache. I gasped as my body seemed to push forward, everything morphing and breaking instantly until I was something else entirely.

I collapsed onto the forest floor, wobbling to get up as my eyes looked down at staggering white paws below me. I moved back, frightened and unable to speak. I could only whine as I tried to push away from the paws underneath me, startled and confused.

Jungkook quickly rushed over, nuzzling his giant wolf head into my side to settle me down. I looked up at him, his warm eyes, large and worried, staring back at me.

Are you okay? We don't have to continue this, his voice rang through my head. I shook my head and took a tentative step forward, testing my balance and strength.

I had never experienced this before. I had never felt the world this way or seen or heard or tasted this way.

Everything was new and scary and sensitive. I looked around, walking forward to inspect the forest which looked so different from the eyes of a wolf.

The sound of insects and birds filled my ears, echoing loudly when usually I would have never heard them. The branches and earth below me crunched and moved with every hearty step of a paw and the world around me looked refined, detailed, and intense.

I looked over my shoulder at Jungkook who stayed close behind me, letting me walk it out. The sound of rushing water filled my ears, beckoning me to go to it.

Quietly and slowly, I continued to stagger forward, still figuring out how things felt and moved. A small stream and pool of water came into view.

The clear liquid flowed over smoothed stones into the deep pool which was surrounded by blooming moon lilies and green grass as spring grew closer and closer every day.

Nervously, I padded towards the water and peered cautiously over the brim, taking the first look of myself in skin that wasn't human.

Golden eyes and a mess of white fur stared back, startling me. It's beautiful, and ethereal. The white fur flowing freely in the air, its golden eyes sparkled.

This wasn't the me I knew at all. My heart raced and I began to panic at the sight as I flung myself backwards, somehow managed to shift back to my human form in the process.

I scrambled backwards on my knees and bottom, desperately trying to escape the reflection of something that was not human, and not me.

Jungkook shifted back too in human form and rushed to my side, helping me up into his arms. "This was a bad idea. Come on, let's go back home." He encouraged me as he held me in his arms for a while.

I shook my head and broke away from his arms, cautiously approaching the water again. Jungkook could only watch as I slowly sunk to my knees and looked back at the water, hoping to see something that was different from what had just reflected back to me.

My eyes met the calming reflection of my face. Long eyes, sharp jawline, fluffy but blond hair.

My fingers reached up and touched the sides of my face, then up the strands of my hair, slowly dragging the tips down as I stared, mesmerized, at my reflection. It was me, but not me at the same time.

"I'm a werewolf." I whispered, dropping my hands.

Jungkook's warm hand snuck around my shoulder as he sat down next to me and pulled me into his arms.

We didn't say anything. Just sat there. After a few moments in his arms, I stood and walked into the water quietly.

I knew it should have been cold, but the water felt numb on my skin, as if the cold didn't even register in my brain.

My chest sunk under the water until only my neck and face peered overtop of the calm surface. I stared at the rocks as the water flowed over them.

Jungkook came in too and stood next to me, placing his hands on my waist. "Jiminie? Are you okay?" He questioned as he held me against his chest.

I closed my eyes and focused on him, feeling his wet hands move around my torso to rest on my lower abdomen and sway us peacefully in the water.

My hands snaked on top of his as I leaned against him, focusing on him and only him. "Do you still love me?" I questioned dumbly, unnatural, insecure and scared in my new form.

Jungkook nestled his nose into my hair and took a deep breath, sighing contently. "I love you, more than there are stars in the galaxy. You are my whole world and I'm nothing without you. I loved you when you were human, and I love you now you're a werewolf. You are my sun and moon, my everything. You're still Jimin. Nothing will ever change that."

I blushed slightly at his words and turned in his arms, facing him, feeling instantly better.

"Smile for me, Kookie." I teased as my hands moved to the back of his neck.

"Anything for you, my love." Jungkook then gave a large, toothy bunny smile with his nose scrunched. And it made my stomach turn with butterflies.

"Okay, maybe not that much." I giggled at him.

He laughed as I rested my head against his chest.

"When should we tell everyone that I'm alive?" I wondered, hoping we could just keep to ourselves for a little bit longer. Everything's a lot to process, and with just Jungkook by my side, alone in our little world, talking, thinking and healing, it's been easier.

Jungkook sighed and laced our fingers together in one hand as he placed his other hand on my hip and began swaying a bit, making us slow dance in the water. "Maybe I'll let them think you're gone forever so I can have you all to myself."

I gaped at him playfully. "Jeon Jungkook! You wouldn't!" I laughed and slapped his chest.

Jungkook just chuckled and shook his head. "Maybe in another week or two or anytime. Whenever you feel ready and fine again. I just don't want to spring it on them and put pressure on you so fast, after everything you've been through. And with you dying and Donghae being let go and then you coming back-"

I pulled away from him, my face frozen with wide eyes as I stared at him. Jungkook stared at me, confused. I furrowed my brows at him, trying to make sense of what he had just said.

"I'm sorry. What?" I asked.

"What?" Jungkook asked.

"You let... Donghae go?" I tilted my head accusingly.

Jungkook's face fell, immediately realizing what he had said. "No, listen-"

He reached out for me to pull me back to him but I slapped his hands away. "How could you let him go? Jungkook. You know what he's done. He tortured me - he killed me! And you let him go?"

Jungkook stared at me with his pleading doe eyes. He reached up to one of his earlobes and pulled a long canine from the piercing hole, slowly extending it to me.

"I pulled his teeth." He whispered.

I carefully took the tooth, inspecting the pearly white object in my hand, and looked back at him questionably.

"He'll never be able to shift another human or take another life. He is not an Alpha, and barely a werewolf anymore. He is nothing. And he will suffer for as long as he lives." Jungkook muttered.

I stared at the tooth, Donghae's tooth. "I still want him dead." I whispered helplessly back as I looked back up at him with teary eyes. "I need him to die." I said as I handed the tooth back to him.

Jungkook was quiet for a moment but nodded. Without another word, I walked out of the water and searched for that pressure inside of me again. It came easier this time, and before I knew it, I was back on the wobbly white paws.

"Jimin!" Jungkook protested as he quickly hurried from the water, but I commanded my wolf to run as hard as it could, taking off into the forest without another thought.

It feels good to run, doesn't it? A soft voice asked in the back of my head. It sounded calm and collected, completely contrasting to the turmoil turning inside of me. But it's smoothing voice gave me some peace, calming down the thunderstorm.

Yea. It does. I answered back. I felt free, like I was one with the forest and earth.

Donghae's smell lingered in that shed we saw. The voice, my wolf, understood me effortlessly.

Just take me to the shed with the blood, I growled, sounding very animalistic.

The voice didn't say anything else, just put our nose into the ground and kept us running until the rustic shed showed before us, the doors still wide open. It looked exactly the same when I came across it on the way home after I escaped my grave.

I nudged inside carefully, the blood no longer fresh, having turned a dark black on the hay.

If you smell it, I can track him, the voice suggested. I walked forward instantly, lowering my nose to the floor.

The faint same smell wavered outside, almost like a glowing trail leading outside.

He went that way, the voice whispered. I took off once more.

I then heard Jungkook's voice in the back of my head. I know what you're doing Jimin, and you can't do it. I know you're angry, and you have the right to be. But you're nowhere near skilled or trained enough in your wolf form to pursue him. Don't do it. He warned.

But I pushed harder and ran faster, my wolf howling and encouraging me on the way as we followed the faint trail of Donghae's bloodied scent. I could feel my wolf delighted, happy to track and run free.

I'm going to get him, Jungkook. I'm sorry, but I need him dead, I whispered, then blocked my mind from receiving anymore thoughts from him.

My wolf thundered through the forest as I followed the trail of Donghae, determined to see him dead at the end of it.

Drops of dried, black blood with his scent were on the snowy ground, and my desire to kill him only got stronger as I grew closer, closer, closer. And I sprinted faster, faster, faster. Then, I ran face first into a broad fur chest that belonged to the black wolf and my Alpha.
