Jimin's POV

7 days until preparing for the mating ceremony

He slammed me roughly against the wall, my legs wrapped around his waist and fingers tangled in his hair. I cried out and tugged the strands a bit harder as his rough hands gripped the underside of my thighs. I was addicted to his bite. Jungkook sunk his teeth in once more, making my eyes roll to the back of my head as I let out a hearty moan of his name, feeling him grow harder underneath me. I gripped his hair between my fingers, tugging lightly as he bit down a little harder.

"Fuck!" I whined, opening my eyes, gasping.

"God, I love you so much." He groaned, pulling out his canines with a trail of red spit hanging from the sharp and elongated teeth. I grabbed his face and pulled him close, locking my lips against his as he moved backward, landing on the bed. I giggled and looked down at his face as I hovered over top of him, drops of water falling on his tanned skin.

"I can get used to this," Jungkook said with a smile. I blushed and reached up, running my fingers over the new bite mark.

"You're so desperate for it." He teased with dark eyes. I bit my lip and pulled my fingers away, already knowing my skin was littered with them four bite marks on the right side and three on the left side. I blushed and leaned back, sitting on his bare lap as my hands steadied me on his chest.

"I love how it looks on your skin." Jungkook murmured, reaching up and gently running his thumb over one of the puncture marks, making me shiver.

"I love how it feels." I agreed playfully. He laughed and pulled me down to lay on his chest, gently running the tips of his fingers over the bare skin of my back.

"So I was thinking about going on a date tonight, specifically in like an hour?" I suggested with a smile, hoping he was up for the idea.

"Date? Okay." Jungkook said, chuckling.

I looked over at the clock, 5:26, "You have half an hour to get ready." I told him, realizing I had run our day short due to a little foul play in the bedroom and shower.

He groaned and tossed his head against the pillows. "Do I have to?" He moaned. I laughed and nodded, tracing circles into his chest.

"I have a week left with you. Let me have this night." I begged softly. He nodded and slowly sat up, pushing me off of him and making me laugh. He walked into our closet, staring at his clothes.

"You're naturally hot. Lucky." I said, gesturing to their ability to not get cold as he looked more towards the cooler side of the closet. Jungkook laughed and grabbed some jeans and a long-sleeve button-up, making me smile as I lay on my side, watching him happily as he pulled on the jeans and buttoned up his white shirt.

"It's like a strip show except you're putting the clothes on." I teased. He ran his fingers through his hair and blushed a little bit. I laughed and stood, walking into the closet and grabbing some jeans, a nice shirt, and a warm jacket.

"It's so cute how you have to dress warm," He teased as I pulled on the jacket.

"Shut up," I argued, grabbing a beanie and shoving it on my head. We looked at the clock which said 5:35. We had only taken ten minutes to get ready with twenty remaining.

I giggled and slapped his chest. "You better hope it's already set up," I warned. Jungkook nodded and took my hand in his, guiding us down the stairs and back out into the snow. It was quiet and peaceful, the sun slowly starting to set in the distance as we held hands, walking aimlessly into the forest behind the houses.

"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked as I guided him through the forest.

"Shush." I quieted, leading the way happily.

We walked a little further before the small clearing came into view. No snow fell in this clearing as Yoongi said it was protected by Her. The clearing was filled with red Tiger lilies, bountiful and blooming as if it was spring here; their red petals almost seemed to glow underneath the approaching night sky. The surrounding trees had lanterns hanging from the branches and a small table with two chairs was sat in the center of it all.

"How did you do this?" Jungkook asked, astonished as we walked forward.

"I have friends, you know." I countered with a raised brow.

"You two are early." A voice said behind us. I turned and met the smiling face of Yoongi who leaned against one of the trees, watching us with a smirk. "You're lucky I can sense you two were coming early. I'll be right back." He teased, disappearing into the forest right after. Jungkook and I sat down, Jungkook staring at me with a smile.

"You never fail to surprise me, you know that?" He said happily. I grinned and watched as Yoongi and Seungjae walked out soon after, carrying large plates of spicy noodles for us.

I grinned and clapped my hands, squealing at the sight. "You guys are the best." I sighed happily. Yoongi smiled and handed Jungkook his plate as Seungjae handed me mine.

"I think I've found a future oracle," Yoongi said, looking down at Seungjae.

I raised an eyebrow. "Too late, I'm already making him the next Alpha." I teased.

"Excuse me?" Jungkook said, interjecting into the conversation and making me laugh.

"Okay, we'll leave you to it. Have fun." Yoongi winked and walked away, holding Seungjae's hand as they went back into the trees once more.

"Were you going to talk to me about that?" Jungkook asked with a smile, grabbing some noodles with his fork.

I shrugged, smiling at him. Jungkook looked around and sighed.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I raised my fork, knowing something was up.

"The next few days are going to be a bit hard to see each other." He said.

I furrowed my eyebrows and took a hesitant bite, "Why?"

Jungkook pursed his lips and swallowed. "I didn't want to tell you to be honest, but you deserve to know. We're anticipating an attack any day now, so I'm going to be patrolling the borders for the next four days."

I set down my fork with a clatter and stared at him. "That only gives us three days together before..." I trailed off, looking down.

"I know. But it's my duty to do this. I need to keep not only you safe but everyone in this pack safe."

I slowly started eating again, my mind racing. "How early do you leave?" I asked, looking up at him.

"5 in the morning."

I scoffed and dropped my fork once more, looking to the side feeling anger and sadness bubbling up.

"I have to do this." He said, staring at me.

I nodded and signed, looking at the Tiger lilies around us. I picked the fork back up and ate in silence for a while.

"Jimin." Jungkook tried. I looked up, realizing he had been staring at me, "It's just four days."

I swallowed and nodded. "I know," I whispered.

"Then please be happy." He said.

I looked back up at him, staring at his pleading eyes.

"I don't like to see you upset." He told me. I just smiled softly and continued eating.

"What happens if you get attacked?" I questioned, leaning back in my chair.

"Then we fight them," Jungkook replied, twirling his fork in the plate of food.

"But what if there's too many? What if you get hurt, or worse?" I asked, my eyes desperate for his answer.

Jungkook sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Nothing's going to happen, Jimin. It's going to be okay. I'm just patrolling."

I nodded and leaned forward, reaching out my hand to him. He looked at it wearily and grabbed it, lacing our fingers together.

"I'm just worried because I love you," I told him honestly.

He smiled and lifted my knuckles to his lips, kissing them softly. "I love you," Jungkook replied, rubbing his thumb over my hand.

"Now about that kid being Alpha..." Jungkook started with a smile. I laughed and lightly slapped his hand.

"We can't have kids, Jungkook. You never know."

Jungkook shrugged, "Adoption."

I rolled my eyes. "Yes but well it was a joke, so you can relax mister big Alpha man."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Mister big Alpha man?" He questioned, grinning.

"Eat the rest of your damn food or I will, asshole." I threatened.

He lifted his hands in mock surrender and continued to eat as I stared at him happily.

"I just wish you didn't have to go," I whispered.

He nodded and gave a sad smile. "It's just four days," He said.

I nodded and looked away, thinking of all the things that could go wrong.
