Jimin's POV

"Jimin, I'm leaving." Jungkook's voice whispered in my ear.

I moaned and slowly opened my eyes, rubbing them so I could get a better view of him. He wore no shirt, just athletic shorts. I blinked and smiled. "Well, that's a nice view to wake up to."

He smirked and backed away from the side of the bed, looking over his shoulder. "I'm going to train, come if you want."

I nodded and watched him go before I slowly, but eventually, clambered out of bed and threw on some old sweatpants, noticing it was snowing outside. "How the..." I trailed off, recalling he was only in shorts.

I sighed and looked at his side of the closet, a few sweatshirts hanging up. A small grin spread across my face as I reached out and grabbed one of his. I tugged it on and smelled it, instantly feeling comfort from his pinewood smell.

I left the house with a smile, wrapping my arms around myself as I walked to the training field where sounds of cheering sounded through the trees. Slowly walking forward, my eyes landed on a giant crowd of people who watched eagerly as two bare-chested people circled each other in a sandpit.

Immediately, I recognized Jungkook as one of them. "Oh, Kookie." I groaned, walking forward. My elbows jutted against arms and chest as I pushed through the crowd to get a front-row spot. I recognized the other boy as Jin, the bodyguard who refused to let me into the meeting not too long ago. I grinned and bit the tip of my thumb, watching intently as they continued to circle each other.

"Fight already!" Someone yelled beside me, other people shouting in agreement. Jin lunged, extending his arm to punch Jungkook straight in the face, but Jungkook ducked swiftly, wrapping his arms around Jin's waist and slamming him into the pit, his veins and muscles bulging under his skin. I groaned at the sight, hearing the snap of a bone.

Jungkook pulled back and wiped his bloodied lip as Jin stood, groaning and clutching his rib. I watched with wide eyes as the rib slowly healed, cracking back into place under the skin. Okay, super health is a thing. Jin just grinned maniacally, a full out brawl starting suddenly. The two men clashed against each other, jabbing, punching, clawing.

A wild blur of action occurred rapidly in front of my eyes as Jungkook kicked out Jin's legs from underneath him. Jin countered with a sucker punch straight to the side of Jungkook's jaw, making him stumble back. Jungkook just came back harder as he growled angrily and body-slammed the older man into the sand with a cloud of sand blowing around him.

I winced at all of the blood and clashing of bodies as they tumbled, slammed, and practically threw each other. Suddenly, Jin shifted mid-jump and took a swipe at Jungkook, his giant claws making a gash of four across his face. Jungkook tumbled to the floor, trying to lift himself up from the floor slowly. I watched as he gradually stood, his iris jet black, the four gashes healing rapidly on his skin.

He shifted instantly, the crowd backing up in concern and worry as the two wolves circled each other. Jungkook lunged for it, digging his claws into Jin's back and holding on tight as Jin tried to reach around his neck and sink his teeth into any bit of Jungkook he could get hold of. Jin managed to buck hard enough to throw him on the ground, towering on top of him and biting his neck.

Jungkook scratched Jin's underside rapidly, a sign that they weren't fighting anymore and Jin was genuinely hurting him. Jin just clamped down harder.

"Stop!" I screamed as Jin stayed latched, Jungkook's scratching getting slower. "Stop it, you're hurting him!" I screamed, stepping forward and walking onto the pit.

People tried to hold me back but I pushed forward angrily, tears coming to my eyes. Something within me grew, bubbled, as I stared hard at Jin.

Say it, something whispered inside of me, say it. "Fall and feel pain." I spit through gritted teeth. Jin immediately winced as if something had snapped him internally. He let go, backing away, whining, and crumpling in on himself.

He shifted back to human, screaming a guttural cry, his body thrashing in pain as he collapsed on the sand, clutching his body. Jungkook shifted back, wrapping his hand around his throat punctured by Jin's canines. Slowly, the holes closed and everyone was quiet except for Jin who wailed.

I looked over at him with scared eyes at what I had done. "Stop," I whispered and Jin gasped, taking deep breaths from the pain.

He breathed heavily, backing up, stumbling over himself, but stood eventually. He grabbed his shirt from the side and put them on, backing away, terrified, then ran.

Everyone stared at me. I swallowed hard and quickly looked down, walking away to avoid their eyes. I ran once I got to the edge of the forest, crying quietly. What had I done? What was that? My legs began to pump faster and faster as I began to sprint through the trees.

Holding my face in my hands in an attempt to stop my tears, I bumped into trees around me and going deeper and deeper into woods I had never seen before. Deciding against going back to face humiliation, I began to run again, wanting to get as far away as possible. I barely ran for ten seconds before I crashed directly into a tree, passing out instantly from its hard blow to my head.

Jungkook's POV

Everyone stared at him as he ran, myself included. What was that? I slowly stood, pulling my hand away from my neck once it had completely healed. I grabbed my shirt and pulled them on, groaning due to the soreness within me.

"Someone go find him." I sighed, running a hand through my hair. Ten people shifted into wolf form, running into the woods the way he went. I trudged off of the training field, following Jin's path.

Eventually, I tracked him to the training facility off to the side, Jin sitting on one of the benches between the lockers. I leaned against the lockers and stared at him as he turned and looked over his shoulder at me, my eyes leaving an uneasy feeling in his mind.

"Hyung, you could have hurt me," I told him sternly.

He nodded and looked down, swallowing at my authority. "I know." He whispered.

Hearing the remorse in his voice, I dropped the topic, knowing that wolves are hard to control sometimes. "What happened out there?" I asked, tilting my head.

He shook his head and for the first time in my life, I saw him cry. Tears consumed his face as he managed to sputter out, "It was everywhere all at once. It was in my heart, my stomach, my eyes, Jungkook. Searing hot pain, as if I was stuck shifting for the first time but also being stabbed and shot and torn apart." I winced internally at his description but kept a hard face, taking in a deep inhale.

"We're finding him right now, I'll make sure he apologizes," I promised, dropping my crossed arms to run my fingers through my hair.

Jin quickly looked over his shoulder with wide and panicked eyes. "No... it's ok, I don't want him anywhere near me." He said. I swallowed hard but nodded.

I left him after staring at him for a while longer to make sure he was okay, then walked back to the training field.

The ten wolves were back already. One of them shifted but looked at me, nervous and scared, as I approached. "What's wrong?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowing as I looked for Jimin.

"We... can't find him. There's no scent. None." I pursed my lips and waited for the others to shift back to their human selves before pursuing their report.

"What do you mean 'no scent'?'" I interrogated.

They nervously looked at each other. "There's... no scent." I growled and pushed past them, shifting after a few steps in Jimin's direction.

My wolf ran into the woods, my eyes scanning for any footprints or signs of where he had gone to. I placed my nose to the snowy floor and trees, the snow so thick falling, it had already covered his trail. They were right, there was no scent of him whatsoever.

I raised my head and looked around, listening for anything. I heard nothing, smelled nothing, and saw nothing. I needed a search party. Now. Lifting my head into the sky, I let out a howl, twenty wolves showing up almost instantly after my cry of help. Jimin's missing. I need trackers and he needs to be found by nighttime, I ordered as I stared into the ominous forest. The wolves nodded and howled as well, others showing up soon after to help.

I stared out into the snowy woods with worried eyes. At the rate the snow was falling, he could freeze to death within hours or get lost in the middle of nowhere. I watched as more wolves came, fanning out with their noses pressed to the floor, talking back and forth through the mind link. Find him, I said, Just find him.
