Pandit Ji then instructed the couple to seek blessings from the elders. Ravi with a proud smirk on his face, stepped forward and extended his hand towards Kashi.
"Kashi, come," he commanded, his voice laced with arrogance. "Take your father's blessings".
But Kashi didn't move. She stood frozen, her face pale with dried tears, her body rigid, and her eyes devoid of any emotion. Her gaze on Ravi was hollow, as though staring at a complete stranger. And perhaps, he was. For her, the man before her had ceased to exist the moment he sold her dignity, her trust, and her love for some wealth and convenience to a man like Neel Oberoi.
Ravi's smirk grew wider, but it was filled with mockery rather than affection. "What's this? My sweet daughter is angry with her papa?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "You know what, Kashi? I couldn't care less. You were nothing but a burden on me and my life. Today, I feel lighter. Freed. You and your dying mother were nothing but shackles I was forced to carry. You both are worthless. To be honest, I don't care if you both die....."
Before the venomous words could escape his lips further, a sharp, resounding smack echoed through the hall. The force of the blow sent Ravi two steps back, his cheek red and stinging. Gasps filled the room.
Kashi stood paralyzed as she realized what had happened. Her wide eyes flicked to the man standing tall and imposing next to her.
"Enough," Vishwanath's voice rang out, low and thunderous, commanding the attention of the entire room. "You have said and done enough, Ravi Sharma. One more word against Kashi or her mother and I will wipe your useless existence from this world".
Ravi, still stunned, stumbled on his feet. Fear crept into his features, but his cunning instincts quickly took over. "N..Neel ji?" he stuttered. "What happened? Why are you....."
But his tongue caught mid-sentence as the man in front of him raised his sehra entirely.
Vishwanath's movements were deliberate, slow, and commanding as he unveiled his face, revealing all its majestic fury. The air grew heavy as everyone in the room, including Kashi, stared in stunned silence.
Kashi's breath hitched. She stared at Vishwanath, her wide, tear-filled eyes reflecting a whirlwind of emotions. Her mind struggled to process the revelation, her lips trembling as she whispered, "Veer ji....?" Her voice was barely audible, but it carried the weight of her disbelief, relief, and hope. Though Kashi had already recognized the familiarity in his voice, the confirmation that it was indeed her Veer ji felt like a balm to her broken heart. It was as if the pieces of her shattered world were slowly beginning to realign.
As the remaining guards of Neel saw Vishwanath, they immediately tried to attack him. However, they were swiftly overpowered by Vishwanath's men, their movements precise and lethal, leaving the attackers no chance. The defeated guards were forced to bow to the King, a stark reminder of Vishwanath's unmatched power and authority.
"Vishwanath?" Ravi whispered, his voice cracking. "You? Where is Neel? What's going on......" His voice faltered as he tried to piece together the unfolding events.
Ravi, felt his bravado crumble. His words faltered as Vishwanath took a threatening step forward, his presence commanding the room. "How dare you, Ravi, to stoop so low as to threaten Kashi's mother's life just to manipulate her? " Vishwanath growled, his voice sharp and cold as steel.
Though fear was evident in Ravi's trembling form, he tried one last desperate attempt to regain control. "You think you have won, Vishwanath Rai Singhania?" he sneered, his voice shaking. "You can't do anything to me. Remember, her mother is still in danger, and everything is still under my control."
"Maa!" Kashi's heartbreaking cry echoed through the room, her voice laced with anguish and terror. Her tears streamed uncontrollably as she struggled to comprehend what was unfolding before her.
But Vishwanath's calm, cutting response sent shockwaves through both Ravi and Kashi. "Go ahead, Ravi," he said with deadly composure. "Call your men. Let's see what control you have left."
Ravi's face twisted in panic, his confidence visibly cracking as he fumbled for his phone. "No! Don't!" Kashi cried out, her voice trembling with desperation, her mind unable to process the sudden turn of events.
Ravi quickly dialed his men's numbers, his fingers trembling. But no one answered. He tried again, sweat dripping down his forehead, but the result was the same, silence. His fear was now palpable, his distress written all over his face as the futility of his efforts dawned on him.
Kashi's heart sank further, and she cried out, "No! Veer ji, please don't....." But Vishwanath's words stopped her.
"It's over, Kashi," he said firmly, his gaze softening momentarily as he looked at her. "Anjali Aunty is safe. He cannot hurt her anymore."
Hearing this, Ravi's face turned ashen, his last shred of confidence crumbling into nothingness.
Kashi staggered back in shock. "Maa....Maa is safe?" she whispered, her voice cracking. Vishwanath nodded slowly. Relief flooded her heart, but her legs faltered. She felt herself falling, only to be gently caught by Rudra, who had been silently standing by.
Rudra steadied her, his expression soft and protective. "Bhabhi," he said quietly, "don't cry". We are here for you now. No one can hurt you anymore." he said wiping her tears gently. His words, simple yet heartfelt, brought a wave of comfort to Kashi, who gave him a faint nod amidst her tears.
Meanwhile, Vishwanath's fury burned brighter, his patience completely extinguished. He advanced on Ravi with deliberate, menacing steps, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. Each step he took radiated an authority that made the room seem smaller, more suffocating. The tension in the air was palpable.
His voice, low and venomous, broke the silence. "Ravi you traded your own daughter like she was a mere commodity," he growled, his tone a mixture of disgust and rage. "You kidnapped your ailing wife, her mother, just to manipulate her. And doing so you dared to threaten, humiliate, and harm what's mine. Now you will pay for your sins." His words hung heavily in the air, each syllable a dagger to Ravi's confidence.
Ravi tried to muster some semblance of defiance, but before he could utter a word, Vishwanath's fist collided with his stomach in a devastating blow. The impact made Ravi double over, gasping for air. Before he could recover, another strike landed, this time sending him sprawling onto the cold floor.
Vishwanath didn't stop. His fury was a tempest, relentless and punishing. Each blow he delivered was a reflection of the suffering Ravi had caused Kashi. His knuckles met flesh with brutal precision, the sound reverberating through the room like a drumbeat of justice.
"You made her cry," Vishwanath seethed, his voice trembling with barely contained anger as he lifted Ravi by his collar. "You forced her to sacrifice herself. You turned her life into a living hell for your selfish gains." Ravi, tried to shield himself, but it was futile. The once-arrogant man was reduced to nothing more than a pitiful heap, his bravado stripped away with each strike.
Beaten and bloody, he slowly crawled towards Kashi, grabbing at her feet. "Kashi....beta....please," he begged, his voice hoarse. "Save your father. Tell him to stop. I will change, I swear. I will give you the love you deserve, I promise. Just save me."
Kashi's tears had dried, and her face was now a mask of cold indifference. She looked down at the man who had once been her father and spoke in a voice devoid of warmth. "You are not my father," she said. "My father died the day he sold me to Neel Oberoi. You don't deserve forgiveness. Vishwanath ji," she turned to the towering figure beside her, "punish him more. He is not a father. He is a monster." Those words unleashed the last wave of Vishwanath's fury. The wrath of a king defending his queen.
Vishwanath's eyes, blazing with intensity, bore into Ravi as he grabbed him by the collar once again, hauling him up with ease. Vishwanath snarled, his voice like thunder. His fist struck Ravi squarely across the face, the force of the blow sending a sharp crack echoing through the hall. "This is for every ounce of fear you made her endure," he growled, landing another blow to Ravi's ribs, making him gasp and clutch his side in agony.
Ravi groaned, trying to wriggle free, but Vishwanath wasn't done. Another strike hit Ravi's jaw, forcing his head to snap back violently. "This is for the pain you inflicted on her," Vishwanath spat, his fury rising with each word.
Vishwanath's strength surged as he struck him in the stomach, making him double over in pain. His voice, laced with venom, was a roar. "You don't deserve the title of a father"
But before Vishwanath could continue, Rituraj entered the hall with a team of policemen. "Vishwanath, that's enough," Rituraj said, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "I understand your anger, but let the law handle him now."
With one final, merciless blow, Vishwanath sent Ravi collapsing to the ground, broken and utterly defeated. Ravi's body hits the floor with a thud, his cries drowned out by the suffocating silence of his own disgrace. Vishwanath stepped back, breathing heavily as he watched the police take custody of Ravi.
Kashi stood frozen, her eyes brimming with tears as she watched the man who had tormented her for years crumble under Vishwanath's fury. Her heart ached, not out of sympathy for Ravi, but from the painful realization of what he had been, a father in name only.
Her tears streaked her cheeks as she looked at Ravi, a man who had sold her dreams, her dignity, and her peace. Yet, in this moment of his punishment, she felt no satisfaction, only a hollow ache for the years she had longed for a father's love.
"Why?" she whispered softly, her voice trembling as she addressed Ravi. "Why did you do this to me? To Maa? Were we nothing to you?" Her words, though quiet, cut through the tension in the room, echoing with the weight of her shattered hopes.
Kashi's sobs grew louder, her chest heaving with each painful breath as she continued, her eyes locked on Ravi. "All I ever wanted was a father who cared, a father who loved me and protected me. But you....you sold me like I was nothing. You used Maa and me, for your greed? Your selfishness? Why did you do this to us? Why?"
Ravi, held firmly by the policemen, couldn't muster the strength to meet Kashi's tear-filled gaze. His once-defiant demeanor crumbled under the weight of her words, leaving him exposed and powerless.
Her voice broke as she took a deep breath, her shoulders shaking under the weight of her emotions. Finally, she looked at the policemen holding Ravi and said firmly, though her voice cracked, "Please....take him away. I don't want to see his face anymore."
The room fell silent at her words, her plea slicing through the tension. Ravi was dragged away by the policemen, his head hanging in defeat, while Kashi clutched Rudra's arm for support, her tears continuing to fall.
Vishwanath turned to her, his face still etched with anger, but his eyes softened at the sight of her tears. But Before he could say something, a guard stumbled into the hall, clutching his bleeding head, his face pale and strained.
"Sir Neel Oberoi....escaped," the guard gasped, struggling to stand upright. "He... he's gone."
Vishwanath's eyes darkened dangerously. "What? How did this happen?"
The guard took a shaky breath, blood trickling down his temple. "Sir he overheard the commotion about the police. He tricked us into believing that he couldn't breathe. When we tried to help him, he overpowered us and ran. We chased him, but....he knew the secret exits of the estate."
Rage flickered in Vishwanath's eyes as his jaw tightened. His hands clenched into fists, the tendons in his arms taut with fury.
Rituraj cursed under his breath, his face set with determination. "Don't worry, Vishwanath. Neel wouldn't have gone far. I'll issue a manhunt for him immediately. We'll track him down and catch him before he can do any more damage."
Vishwanath gave a terse nod, his anger still simmering just below the surface. "Make sure you do, Rituraj. He can't escape after what he has done."
With a curt nod, Rituraj signaled his officers and quickly left the hall to organize the search. Vishwanath's gaze remained fixed on the door, his mind racing as he silently vowed to protect Kashi at all costs.
Meanwhile, Neel, now outside and cloaked in the shadows of the night, seethed with venom. His eyes gleamed with malice as he muttered under his breath, "You think you've won, Vishwanath Rai Singhania? This isn't over. I'll come back, and I'll make you pay for ruining my plans. His voice dropped to a chilling whisper, dripping with rage. "And I will take away what's mine....my sweetheart."
With those final, foreboding words, Neel disappeared into the darkness, his presence fading but leaving behind an aura of looming danger.

As the commotion began to subside, Rudra approached Vishwanath with a calm yet determined expression. "Bhaiya," he said softly, his voice steady but urgent, "I'll get the car ready. You bring bhabhi with you."Raghav bhaiya has already taken Anjali aunty to the City Hospital in Bundelkhand. We need to leave soon."
Vishwanath gave a sharp nod, his fury hadn't fully abated, but the immediate threat was neutralized, and his priority was now Kashi's safety and her mother's well-being. With a final glance at his older brother, Rudra turned and strode out of the grand hall of Oberoi estate.
Vishwanath gestured to the remaining guards, his tone commanding yet calm. "Ensure everything is in order here. Hand over all of Neel's men to the police, he instructed firmly. "And also," he added, his voice tinged with care, "take the injured guards to the hospital. Make sure they receive proper treatment.
The guards paused, visibly touched by his words, before nodding in unison. It was a testament to Vishwanath's nature not just a powerful king, but a generous and compassionate leader who always thought about his people. One by one, they exited the hall to complete their assigned tasks, leaving their King and Queen alone.
The hall, once echoing with chaos, now seemed unnervingly still, as if the air itself was holding its breath. Vishwanath took a deep, steadying breath, his tall frame exuding authority yet carrying the weight of lingering anger and concern.
When he turned around, his eyes met Kashi's. She stood just a few feet away, her delicate figure trembling slightly, her hands clasped tightly as if trying to steady herself. Her wide, tearful eyes held a mix of emotions relief, disbelief, and a depth of gratitude that words couldn't encompass.
The storm that had raged within Vishwanath moments ago seemed to dissipate entirely at the sight of her. But his composed exterior faltered. Doubts began to creep into his mind, unbidden but relentless. What if she thinks I betrayed her trust? What if she believes I manipulated this entire situation for my benefit? Is she angry with me? Does she regret this marriage? Will she see the truth that I only wanted to protect her?
But before those thoughts could engulf him completely, Kashi took a hesitant step forward. Then another. And in a move that surprised him to his core, she closed the distance between them and gently wrapped her arms around him. Her soft hands rested against his back, and her head came to rest on his chest, her quiet sobs muffled against his warmth.
Vishwanath froze for a moment, caught off guard, his mind momentarily blank. Then, as he felt the warmth of her touch and the quiet sound of her breath, something inside him melted. Slowly, hesitantly, his arms came up to envelop her, pulling her closer with a tenderness that contrasted sharply with the fury he had displayed moments ago.
Vishwanath gently caressed her head, his touch soft and comforting, trying to soothe her as tears continued to fall from her eyes. In that moment, all his doubts melted away, replaced by the undeniable warmth of her trust, she didn't feel betrayed, but cherished and safe in his embrace.
