CHAPTER 16 : "THE REVELATION"

KASHI VISHWANATH : TWO ECLIPSED HEARTS 💕

Thank you for 5K reads on my book!!🎉🥳

Hello everyone ❤️ ! I've made a decision regarding the use of Hindi dialogues in the book. Moving forward, Hindi dialogues will only be included in the scenes where Kashi and Vishwanath are talking or wherever it is needed. I feel this will highlight the emotional depth of their connection. For conversations between or with other characters, I'll be sticking to English 💌

However, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! Do you prefer Hindi dialogues for other characters as well, or should I keep it as planned?? Your feedback would really help me, so please let me know!💭

Happy Reading! 💌

That evening, Kashi tried calling Veer to tell him about her upcoming visit to Bundelkhand, but his phone was unreachable. He had texted her earlier, saying that he had important office work and wouldn't be able to talk that night. Kashi thought about sending him a text anyway, but then she decided against it. She didn't want to disturb him while he was busy. Instead, she resolved to tell him in the morning once she arrived in Bundelkhand.

The next morning, Kashi set off early for Bundelkhand, her heart filled with a mix of nervousness and excitement. She decided to dress nicely for the occasion, knowing that the Singhania Mansion belonged to royalty. She chose her most beautiful dark blue frock suit, which had delicate embroidery along the neckline and hem. Her long hair was left open, but she used a butterfly clip to pin back the top section, giving her a graceful yet simple look. Paired with her favorite jutti, she felt ready for the day ahead. She looked ethereal, just right for the occasion.Though she wouldn't admit it, a part of her heart had dressed with her beloved Veer ji in mind.

After bidding goodbye to her mother,She took a bus from Jhansi, her gaze fixed on the rolling hills and lush green fields as they passed by. The journey was long, but Kashi felt a growing anticipation with every passing mile. The beauty of the countryside calmed her nerves, and she held the package carefully in her lap, ensuring it stayed safe.

As she neared Bundelkhand, she tried calling her Veer ji again, wanting to tell him about her arrival. But to her disappointment, his number was still unreachable. It seemed there were network issues in the area, and she couldn't reach him.

When the bus finally pulled into Bundelkhand, Kashi stepped off with a deep breath, her nerves returning as she made her way towards the Singhania Mansion. The mansion loomed in the distance, grander than she had ever imagined. Its tall pillars and intricate carvings stood as a testament to the royal legacy of the Singhania family.

As she approached the entrance, Kashi's heart began to race. There was a line of guards stationed outside the mansion, their imposing presence making her feel small and out of place. She was a strong and determined girl, but in situations like this, she easily got nervous. The sight of so many guards only heightened her anxiety.

She clutched the package tighter and approached the guards cautiously. Two of them stepped forward, blocking her path.

"Who are you, and what is your business here?" one of the guards asked, his voice firm but polite.

Kashi swallowed nervously and handed over her identity pass, along with the package. "I've been sent by the textile factory. I'm here to deliver a package to Rajmata Shalini Rai Singhania."

The guards examined her identity pass closely and scanned the package. Kashi stood still, trying to calm the fluttering in her chest. After a few tense moments, the guard returned her pass and nodded.

"Everything is in order. You may proceed," he said, stepping aside to let her through. As Kashi moved inside the gate, the guards instructed her to pass through the security scanner. She took a deep breath and walked through it, relieved when it beeped affirmatively, signaling that everything was fine.Kashi felt a bit overwhelmed seeing so much security, but after all, this house belonged to the king and the royal Singhania family.

She nodded in gratitude and walked towards the mansion, her heart pounding with every step she took. The grandeur of the Singhania Mansion was overwhelming, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to happen. As she made her way toward the entrance of the mansion, a mixture of anticipation and nervousness flooded her senses. Her journey had just begun, and the truth was waiting for her on the other side of those grand doors.

As she stepped inside, Kashi was spellbound by the beauty and magnificence of the mansion. The intricate carvings on the walls, the sparkling chandeliers that lit up the vast hallways, and the polished marble floors all spoke of luxury and royalty. She could barely believe her eyes, feeling as though she had stepped into a palace from a fairytale.

Her eyes caught sight of a maid working nearby. Summoning the courage that seemed to be slowly leaving her body, Kashi approached the maid and asked, "Excuse me, could you please call Rajmata Shalini Rai Singhania? I was instructed to hand this parcel over to her personally.

The maid nodded and disappeared to fetch Rajmata. Kashi's heart raced as she waited, clutching the package tightly, her nerves fraying by the second.

A few moments later, Rajmata Shalini appeared. Dressed in a simple yet regal saree, Shalini exuded an aura of warmth and authority. When Shalini saw Kashi, her eyes lit up with a welcoming smile. "Hello, beta. Are you the one who brought the package and was asking to hand it over to me personally?" she asked gently.

Kashi, feeling a wave of nervousness wash over her, managed to return the smile and greet the queen with a respectful nod. "Yes, Your Highness. I was told to deliver these sarees to you." She carefully handed over the beautifully wrapped parcel, her hands slightly trembling.

Shalini taking the parcel chuckled softly. "There's no need for formalities beta. You can call me Aunty. What is your name?"

"Kashi... Kashi Sharma," she replied, trying to calm her racing heart. Rajmata's presence was calming, but her royal aura was impossible to ignore.Kashi felt like she was in the presence of someone who held both power and kindness in equal measure.

Shalini's eyes softened even more. "Kashi, such a beautiful and divine name. You must be from Jhansi, where this wonderful textile factory is?"

"Yes, I am, Rajmata... I mean Au...Aunty ji," Kashi stammered, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the queen's friendly nature. "I was asked to deliver this package personally since it was a special order."

Shalini nodded in understanding. "You came all the way from Jhansi to Bundelkhand to deliver this in person? That's very kind of you, but you didn't need to go to such lengths. We could have arranged for it to be delivered."

Kashi smiled shyly. "It was my duty, and my boss entrusted me with this task. Besides, I was happy to come."

Shalini's heart softened at Kashi's sincere words and modest demeanor. She was genuinely impressed by the young woman's grace, beauty and the genuine warmth in her smile.

As they conversed, a maid brought a glass of water for Kashi. She took the glass, and was about to drink when a familiar voice echoed through the hall, stopping her in her tracks.

"Good morning, Maa," Vishwanath's deep voice rang out as he descended the grand staircase, casually adjusting his cufflink.

Her head whipped around just in time to see a tall figure descending the grand staircase. There he was Vishwanath Rai Singhania, the king of Bundelkhand. He was impeccably dressed, casually setting his cufflink as he came down the stairs with an air of confidence and authority that radiated from him.The man before them bore no resemblance to the humble Veer, this was someone of unmistakable power.

"Good morning, Vishu," Shalini greeted him warmly. Then, turning to Kashi, she added, "Kashi, milo mere bete se. Yeh hai Vishwanath Rai Singhania, the King of Bundelkhand." (Kashi, meet my son he is Vishwanath Rai Singhania, the king of Bundelkhand.)

The glass slipped from Kashi's hand and shattered on the marble floor, but she didn't care. Her mind was reeling. The world seemed to spin around her as she stared at him, wide-eyed, her heart pounding in her chest. Veer ji? Yeh kaise ho sakta hai?(Veer ji? How is this possible?) she thought, her breath catching in her throat.

Vishwanath had been adjusting his cufflink, but at the mention of Kashi's name, his hand stilled. His head snapped up, his eyes locking onto hers. The air seemed to freeze between them, his expression one of equal shock. This was not how he had intended for her to discover his secret. Not like this. Never like this. Her presence here was shocking, unexpected, and the realization hit him like a storm.

Kashi..." he whispered, his voice filled with disbelief.

Kashi's vision blurred as tears filled her eyes. Her world had just been turned upside down. The man she had trusted, the man she had considered family, her Veer ji... was not just any man. He was the King of Bundelkhand. How could this be? Why hadn't he told her? Why had he kept such a huge part of his life hidden from her?

"Veer ji...?" Kashi whispered, her voice barely audible, but loud enough to echo through the grand living room. The word hung in the air, charged with emotion, disbelief, and confusion.

Just then, Shalini noticed Kashi's and Vishwanath's shaken expression. Concern creased her forehead as she gently asked, "Tum dono ek doosre ko pehle se jaante ho?" (Do you both know each other already?) she asked with a little bit of surprise in her voice.

Kashi's heart pounded in her chest. Her mind was racing with questions, emotions swirling uncontrollably. Veer ji is a king? Her beloved Veer ji , her confidant, her pillar of strength was not just an ordinary man. He was Vishwanath Rai Singhania, the King of Bundelkhand.

Before Kashi could respond, footsteps echoed in the hallway. Raghavendra, Rudra, and their father, Rajendra, entered the living room. They were surprised to see their mother standing with a visibly distressed young woman, while Vishwanath appeared frozen in place, staring intently at her.

Rajendra's deep voice broke the heavy silence,"Yeh sab kya ho raha hai?" (What is happening here?)

As all eyes turned towards her, Kashi felt the walls closing in. It was too much too many emotions, too many revelations. Tears welled up in her eyes, and before anyone could stop her, she turned and bolted for the door. Her vision blurred as she fled from the mansion, her heart shattering with every step.

"Kashi!" Vishwanath called out, instinctively moving to follow her. But before he could take a step, his mother, Shalini, gently grasped his arm.

"Vishu," Shalini asked softly, yet with a mother's concerned intensity, "kya tum is ladki ko pehle se jaante ho? Aur Kashi tumhe Veer naam se kyu bula rahi thi? (Do you know this girl already? And why was Kashi calling you Veer?)

Rajendra and his two sons stood by, their expressions filled with confusion and curiosity. Vishwanath's jaw clenched, his mind racing for a response. He couldn't explain everything now. There was too much at stake, too many emotions flying wild.

"Maa, papa, main aapko sab kuch bataunga," he said, his voice steady yet urgent. "Lekin abhi mujhe Kashi se baat karni hai. Please, mujhe jaane dijiye."

(Maa, Papa I will tell you everything," he said, his voice steady yet urgent. "But right now, I need to talk to Kashi. Please, let me go.)

Shalini could see the turmoil in her son's eyes. She understood the gravity of the situation. "Jao, beta"(Go, son) she said quietly, releasing his arm.

Without wasting another moment, Vishwanath bolted out of the house. His heart raced as he scanned the grounds, searching frantically for Kashi. He never intended to hurt her, he never imagined his secret would be revealed this way. But now that it had, he was determined to make everything right. He loved her too much to lose her.
