As they were talking, Kashi noticed her sketchbook open, her designs spread out on the side table next to him. She paused, a mix of embarrassment and curiosity washing over her.
"Veer ji, aap mere designs dekh rahe the kya ?"( Veer ji, were you looking at my these designs) ?"she asked, her voice soft but tinged with a hint of shyness.
Veer looked up, a warm smile on his face. "Haan, Kashi. Yeh designs toh kafi sundar hai . Tum toh bohot talented ho." ( Yes, Kashi, these designs are so beautiful. You are really very talented. )
Thank you so much, Veer ji. Mujhe hamesha se fashion designing ka shauk tha." (Thank you so much, Veer ji. I have always been passionate about fashion designing.)
Veer's eyes sparkled with genuine interest. "Tell me more about your designs, Kashi. What inspires you?"
Kashi's face lit up as she began describing about her inspiration to veer. "Main jab bhi koi rang-birangi kapde dekhti hoon, ya phir koi accha design dekhti hoon, toh main sochti hoon ki main bhi inn sab ko jod kar kuch naya aur unique bna sakti hoon." ( Whenever I see colorful clothes or a good design, I think that I could combine all of these together to create something new and unique.)
Veer listened intently, admiring her passion. "Toh tumne is sapne ko aage badhane ke liye kuch kyu nahi kiya Kashi?" (So why didn't you do anything to pursue this dream, Kashi?)
Kashi's smile faltered slightly as she spoke. "Apko pta hai Veer ji, Mujhe Singhania Academy of Fashion and Design se scholarship bhi mili thi, par maa ki tabiyat kharab hone ki wajah se main vaha ja nahi payi." (You know, Veer ji, I even got a scholarship from the Singhania Academy of Fashion and Design, but I couldn't go there because of my mother's illness.)
Veer's heart ached hearing this. He knew the significance of the Singhania Academy of Fashion and Design. Established under his own Singhania Group of Companies, it was renowned for its exceptional curriculum and world-class faculty. The academy had become a beacon of excellence in the fashion industry, known for producing some of the most talented and innovative designers. It was a symbol of the Singhania family's commitment to fostering creativity and nurturing the dreams of aspiring fashion designers.
The Singhania Group of Companies, a conglomerate with diverse business interests, owned and managed by the illustrious Singhania family. At the helm of this empire is none other than Vishwanath Rai Singhania, the CEO and driving force behind the group's success.
As Vishwanath listened to Kashi speak about receiving a scholarship from the Singhania Academy of Fashion and Design, a swell of pride filled his chest. He knew how incredibly difficult it was to gain admission to the academy. He himself had overseen and refined the selection process to ensure only the most talented and dedicated students were chosen. It was one of the most prestigious fashion schools in the country, renowned for its rigorous selection process and high standards. The fact that Kashi had not only applied but also secured a scholarship spoke volumes about her talent and dedication. He felt immense pride knowing that she had achieved this on her own merit.
Singhania Academy of fashion and Design? That's one of the best fashion schools in the country. "You are so talented Kashi". Veer said, his voice was beaming with pride.
Kashi blushed at his compliment but shook her head. "Talent se kya hota hai, Veer ji? Jab gharwalon ka support hi na ho. Papa kabhi mere sapno ko samajh hi nahi paaya. Woh hamesha kehte the ki yeh sab bekar hai, sirf time waste hai." (What does talent do, Veer ji, when there is no support from family? Papa never understood my dreams. He always said that all of this is useless and just a waste of time.)
Veer's jaw tightened with anger at Ravi's indifference. The realization that Ravi's actions had not only hurt Kashi physically but had also deprived her of her dreams ignited a burning resolve in him. The pain and frustration Kashi had endured because of her father's neglect only deepened his commitment to ensuring that she would not only be protected but also given every chance to achieve her dreams.
His thoughts came halt when he heard Kashi saying, "Veer ji, jab scholarship mili, tab mujhe laga tha sab kuch badal jayega. Lekin maa ki tabiyat usi waqt bohot zada kharab ho gayi. Papa ne bhi paise dene se mana kar diya. Unhone kaha ki maa ko kuch nahi hai ,maa bas thodi si hi bimaar hai, theek ho jayegi. Par aisa nahi tha maa din bad din aur bimar hote Jaa rahe the . Bohot request karne ke baad papa ne thode paise diye par voh kafi nahi the. Isliye mujhe do jobs karni padti hai, taaki maa ka ilaaj main acche se karwa saku."
(Veer ji, when I got the scholarship, I thought everything would change. But at that time, Maa's health deteriorated significantly. Papa also refused to provide money, saying that Maa's illness was not major and she would eventually get better. But it wasn't true, Maa was getting sicker day by day. After much pleading, Papa gave some money, but it wasn't enough. That's why I have to work two jobs to ensure Mom gets the proper treatment.")
Veer felt a surge of anger towards Ravi and a deep sense of compassion for Kashi. He gently took her hand in his, squeezing it reassuringly. "Kashi, tumne jo sacrifice kiya, woh bohot bada hai. Par Tumhara sapna bhi bohot important hai, aur tumhare paas talent bhi hai. Tumhe give up nahi karna chahiye."(Kashi, the sacrifice you have made is very significant. But your dream is also very important, and you have the talent. You shouldn't give up.)
Kashi looked at him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Par Veer ji mein apne sapne pure karna ka mauka kho chuki hu. Main kabhi us mauke ko abb vapis nahi paa paungi." Tears started falling from Kashi's eyes while saying this. (But Veer ji, I have missed the chance to fulfill my dreams. I will never be able to get that opportunity back. Tears began to fall from Kashi's eyes as she said this.)
Veer smiled softly, his eyes filled with determination. "Main tumhe promise karta hoon, Kashi. Tumhare sapne zaroor poore honge. Main hamesha tumhare saath hoon. Main tumhare talent ko zaya nahi hone doonga." (I promise you, Kashi, your dreams will definitely come true. I'm always there with you. I won't let your talent go to waste.)As he spoke, he gently wiped the tears from her cheeks, his touch tender and reassuring.
Kashi's eyes widened at his promise, hope flickering in her heart. "Lekin kaise, Veer ji? Na toh mere pass abb voh scholarship wali opportunity rahi aur na Mere paas itne paise hai ki mein kahi aur admission le payu, aur maa ko bhi meri zaroorat hai." (But how, Veer ji? I no longer have that scholarship opportunity, and I don't have that much money to get admission somewhere else. And Maa also needs me.)
Veer leaned closer, his gaze intense. "Tumhe bas apne sapne par vishwas rakhna hai Kashi, baaki sab main sambhal loonga. Aur tumhare sapne zaroor poore honge, yeh main wada karta hoon Kashi." (You just need to have faith in your dreams, Kashi. I will take care of everything else. I promise you, your dreams will definitely come true.)
As they sat there, the rain continuing to pour outside, Kashi felt a renewed sense of hope. For the first time, she believed that her dreams were within reach, thanks to the man sitting beside her.
Kashi's heart swelled with gratitude and a warmth she couldn't quite explain. "Aap itne ache kyun hai, Veer ji? Main aapko kaise thanks kahoon?"
(Why are you so nice, Veer ji? How can I even thank you?)
Veer smiled, gently tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Tumhe kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai, Kashi. Tumhara sapna abb mera hai. Tum khush raho, bas yahi meri sabse badi khushi hai." (You don't need to say anything, Kashi. Your dream is now mine too. Your happiness is all I want.)
Kashi looked down at their intertwined hands, feeling a connection she hadn't felt before. "Aapki baatein mere liye bahut matlab rakhti hai, Veer ji. Mujhe aap par pura vishwas hai." Kashi said looking in his eyes. (Your words mean a lot to me, Veer ji. I have complete faith in you. Kashi said, looking into his eyes.)
Their eyes locked, and for a moment, the world around them seemed to fade away. In that intimate gaze, Kashi saw the sincerity and warmth in his eyes, and Veer found himself lost in the depth of her hopes and dreams. The connection between them was palpable, a silent promise of unwavering support and shared aspirations.
As their eyes remained locked, a loud voice broke the moment. Kashi's mother called her from her room telling Kashi to come now as it's time to sleep and she needs to rest.
Kashi reluctantly turned her gaze away from Veer, a gentle smile forming on her lips. "Haan Maa, aa rahi hoon." (Yes Maa, I'm coming.)
Veer nodded, his expression softening. "Good night, Kashi."
Kashi replied, her voice equally tender, "Good night, Veer ji."
With one last, meaningful look, Kashi left the room slowly to join her mother. The warmth of their shared moment lingered as the door closed gently behind her, ending their conversation but sealing the promise of a hopeful future.
As Kashi left the room, Veer, or rather Vishwanath, laid down on the bed, lost in his thoughts. He had faced countless challenges, dealt with myriad emotions, but what he was feeling for Kashi was something entirely different-something he couldn't quite name. It was as if her innocence and purity had carved a place in his heart, making him yearn to protect her, to see her dreams come true. For the first time in a long while, Vishwanath felt a sense of purpose that was deeply personal and profoundly stirring. With these thoughts in mind, he finally closed his eyes and drifted into a peaceful slumber, a faint smile playing on his lips.
