New friend
Life is better with you!
Olive isn't that big of a bitch as long as you do what she tells you. If you don't she'll have your head served on a silver platter in seconds. I'm not kidding. If you don't push her, she won't push you, simple as that. But I didn't know that at the time.
"No, Macy, you can't come over! This is a private matter only!" Olive says. The teen rolls her eyes so hard I thought they'd roll right out of her head. "Stop bitching about it. There's nothing special about Samantha's tiny anyway. She's just annoying and whiny." I take great offense to that.
Olive readjusts her bra, squeezing me in an uncomfortable manner.
"No, I'm not going to sell her like a slave. Who knows what Samantha's crazy rich family will do to me if her tiny is sold."
At least she's not going to do anything irrational to me. I'm glad I didn't stumble upon this Macy girl cause she sounds a lot worse than Olive.
"Why did you think I left school? Classes were killing me and I have had a pretty rough week so I needed a little me time." Olive smirks. I think she's forgotten me. "I'll talk to you later, Macy. I got to have a little fun with Samantha's tiny before I return her." Or not.
Olive hangs up without hearing her friend say goodbye and tosses her phone aside. She then turns her attention to me. As much as I don't want to be stuck in Olive's bra, I'd rather stay in here than go out there. Olive is going off of her own plans and not mine.
She plucks me out and flops down on her bed. "My feet need a good massage. Do you mind doing me a favor and give them a little rub?"
I glare the giant teen and give her my honest answer. "No."
Olive's relaxed manner flips on a dime and she begins to fume. "Why do you have to make every little thing so damn difficult? It's just a foot massage. Why can't you be a good little tiny for once and listen to me!"
"You're not my owner," I growl.
Olive leans in close. "I will be if you don't listen to me."
I've had of this whiny bitch. I'm taking a stand. "Oh, fuck you!"
Olive stands right on her feet, The nastiest look in her eye. "Fine, then I'm sure the cat will enjoy chewing you up."
T-the cat!
Olive must love the look on my face because the wickedest grin spreads across her face. "Oh, now you're scared, well it's too late for apologies."
She strides over to her door and throws it open. Olive puts me in a fist and chucks me down the hall in hopes of doing some serious damage towards me. Little does she know the trick up my sleeve, literally.
The nanotech actives on its own, wrapping itself around my body. Again, the tech takes most of the blow when I crash and roll across the wooden floor.
I groan and sit up, rubbing a serious bump on the back of my head.
A low groaning noise ebbs from behind me, then an angry hiss.
I know what it is and I don't want to turn around and face it. Instead, the black furry beast jumps in front to glare me down with its piercing green eyes. The cat hisses again.
"Nice kitty. Good kitty." I stammer as I get to my feet.
The black beast lowers its body in a pouncing position. In a mad panic, I run in the opposite direction, my legs caring me as fast as they can.
The cat lunges and misses me by a few inches in my standard. I stumble but stay on my feet before a furry paw swats my body to the side. I slam against a door, dazed and in pain. The cat managed to land a scratch on my cheek.
The cat crouches again this time, instead of running, I lay flat on my back and pull myself under the door. On the other side of my wooden savior, I hear a loud thump and more hissing.
I back away from the doorway when paws claw at me. But the horror doesn't stop there. In my pursuit to escape the claws of the murderous animal, I bump into something soft and flesh like.
"Oh, gods..." My heart pounds loudly in my ears. I swallow hard and force myself to look up at who I've run into.
A little boy in basketball shorts and baggy shirt with the Power Rangers on it stands before me. He looks pale and his nose and cheeks are red.
His head reels back and he sneezes loudly. I cover my ears.
"O-oh sorry, miss. I didn't mean to scare you." He apologies in a polite manner.
We stare at each other awkwardly, neither of us moving an inch.
My heart is still racing and yet I'm sitting here like a deer in the headlights of a car. I have to move or I will get hit. Strangely, I don't. I don't know if my fear has paralyzed me or I just don't want to like I don't feel threatened by the child.
"I've never seen a tiny before." The boy finally says in an awkward and unsure manner. "I won't hurt you, I promise. Mom and dad say it's not nice to hurt girls."
The boy acknowledges me as a human being, but that doesn't mean he gets my full trust.
The boy bends over to pick me up. "May I..."
"Don't you dare touch me!" I bark.
The boy jumps back, caught off guard by my rudeness. "I'm sorry, I thought if I asked then you'd be okay with it. I'm very nice, I promise." The boy apologizes again.
I back away from the boy. "Like hell, I would! I don't care if you're nice or not, because you're sister is fu- freaking crazy!"
The boy shuffled around awkwardly, ashamed and embarrassed. "Sorry, Miss." He says softly.
I glare the boy down, but guilt washes my nasty look away. I sigh and rub my temple. "Look, I'm sorry for being rude, but I've just had to deal with your jack-ass of a sister."
The boy pokes his index fingers together. "Sorry, she's not the nicest sister either." He mutters.
There's another awkward pause before the boy speaks up again. "I'm Miles, by the way."
At least he's polite enough to introduce himself. "Caesar."
That seems to brightens Miles' mood. "Oh, wow! That's a cool name! I wi... achoo!" The poor kid sneezes again then sniffles. "Sorry, head cold."
I hum out of sympathy. "That's understandable. It explains why you're not at school."
Miles plops down, his legs crossed and a frown on his face. "Yeah, I don't get to see Jade today."
I'm not interested in getting to know Miles, but since his sister is a jerk, I'll show him some pity. "Who's Jade."
"She's the most amazing best friend anyone could ever have. She slays dragons, fights hordes of monsters with me and bakes the most awesome tasting cookies!" Miles goes on and on like he's been waiting to tell someone about his best friend.
It kind of puts a small smile on my face, watching the boy all star-struck, talking about his best friend.
"You'd love her!" Miles says with as much excitement as a sick kid could muster. "When I get over this head cold I'll take you to her!"
"Take me?" I shake my head. "Miles, you can't take me anywhere. I don't belong to your sister."
The joy on Miles' face drops. "What do you mean?" The boy asks innocently.
I sigh. "What I mean is that I got separated from my owner then Olive found me and brought me here."
Miles frown sadly. "So you're not staying?"
I shake my head. "No, I have to get back to my owner. She's probably worried sick about me right now."
"Oh," Miles drops his chin. He kind of reminds me of a sad puppy.
My inner guilt starts to take hold of my thoughts and I blurted out to the boy. "I'm staying the night though!"
That's brings back the brightness in Miles. "Really! Then we can play some fun games even if I'm not supposed to be out of bed."
"Okay, but what are you doing out of bed anyway?" I ask, crossing my arms.
Miles shrugs casually. "I got hungry."
"Then ask your mom to get you something," I respond as if the boy has the ability to tell his mom who is most likely across the house.
Miles makes a sheepish look. "I would, but I don't wanna bother her."
I hum as if I understand. I just don't wanna sit around and play twenty questions with a nine-year-old.
"You wanna play some games, Caesar? I've plenty of them!" The boy says with a large smile. "Olive never wants to play so I figured you'd want to play with me."
Jeez, his sister is an ass-hole! I can't be a hypocrite though because I'm going to be honest with this kid and say no.
"I can't, I'm sorry, Miles. I've been a rough day and have been attacked by a cat. I'd like to chill for a minute or so and collect myself." I say in the most honest way possible.
"That's Fine!" Miles chirps. "You can watch instead. Can you stay here while I go get some snacks?"
I nod then add a quick note. "Close the door when you leave and don't tell your mom about me."
Miles pops up and gives me a two finger salute before marching out the door and shutting it behind him.
I sigh and ask myself what I've gotten myself into.
