Chapter 10

Rosalind's POV

"And who's this little girl?" The guy that Alpha is talking to asks looking

at me and smiling. Something about him scares me, so I hide my face in

daddy's chest, just listening to Alpha and the scary guy talk.

"That's Rosalind, my beta's daughter.” Alpha tells him

"So you brought your beta and his daughter but not your mate?”

I haven't met Alpha's mate, but I know I don't like her.

"She didn't feel like coming." Alpha answers.

I ignore the rest of their conversation and then daddy starts walking,

following Alpha and the scary guy into a house. I lift my face out of my

daddy's chest and look around at everything, even the house gives me

a weird scary feeling.

My ears tune in on what the scary guy is saying and I look back at him,

"Honey, this is Alpha Clayton, Clayton this is my mate Zoey." The

blonde lady smiles at Alpha, "Hello Alpha Clayton.”

"Hello Luna Zoey." He smiles back at her.

I don't like when he smiles at other girls, it makes me even more mad

than I already am at him.

I look to a doorway to see a black haired guy standing. He looks at me

with an expressionless face. I immediately look away at Alpha instead.

"Ahh, Jason, there you are!" The scary guy says smirking at the black

haired man that is standing in the door way.

"Clayton, this is my beta Jason. He's going to show you to your rooms."

The black haired man smiles at us and starts heading up the stairs with

Daddy and Alpha following him

When we reach a set of wooden doors the black haired boy speaks,

"One can have this room and one can have that one.” He points at

another set of doors right across from the wooden ones.

He then turns and walks away as Alpha grabs his bag and opens the

doors across from the wooden ones. My daddy then carries me into the

other room and sets me down.

I run and jump on a bed, "Daddy, why is alpha's knuckles bwoody?" I

ask while I lay on my back looking at the blank ceiling.

Daddy lays down next to me. "He got in a fight with someone when he

was getting you that cookie.”

"Did somebody try to take it from him?"

Daddy then sits up, ignoring my question, and takes in a deep breath as

if he is thinking hard about something.

"And daddy?" I ask, he turns his head and looks at me with his dark

green eyes, "Yes darling?"

I open my mouth to ask daddy why those guys gave me a scared

feeling but I think of it for a second before saying, "Never mind."

Daddy kisses my head and gets up when Alpha walks in the room

without knocking. Alpha smiles at me and I cross my arms, still mad at

him.

"Damon, would it be alright if I took Rose into a town about 12 miles

away?"

Daddy looks at me, and then back at Alpha before noding his head yes.

I don't want to go anywhere with him! But I have never been to a town

before, and I don't want to be in this house with these scary people. I

jump off the bed and walk over to Alpha, "I'll go with, but remember

I'm still wad at you!" I then walk past him and out the door as he

follows.

When we get to his car he opens the back seat car door for me and I

crawl in, getting onto my booster seat, while he gets in front.

While Alpha drives the car I watch his face in the mirror. He looks up at

me through the little mirror on top of the car and I look away out the

window to act like I wasn't watching him

He chuckles and looks back at the road, so I watch him again, but this

time he doesn't look back at me at all.

He finally stops the car, he gets out, and he opens the back seat door. I

struggle to get unbuckled so he reaches in to help me, but I just hit his

hands away.

After a minute of struggling I finally get out and my mouth drops open

as I see a huge building.

"Woah." I blurt out, Alpha smiles at me, "Ever been to a mall?"

I try not to talk to him so I just shake my head no.

"Well then Princess, I guess today will be interesting.” He smiles as we

start walking towards the big glass doors.

As soon as we walk in I see some weird minicars. I walk over to one and

get in. "It's kid size! Now I can drive a car!"

Alpha laughs and walks over to me in it, he sets a shiny round quarter

in a little slot and the car starts moving. I smile as I start to turn the

wheel and pretend to drive.

After awhile it stops moving and I frown. I get out and stand by Alpha

until I look over and see a bunch of pretty clothes behind a glass wall.

I run over to it and look at the pretty dresses and shirts. I then spot a

door and run in, I'm now surrounded by a bunch of clothes and people.

I run over to a rack with hanging dresses and then over to another with

shoes.

"Do you need help?" I hear a woman's voice ask. I turn around to see a

girl with long red hair and a smile plastered on her face.

"No." I answer her. I notice Alpha isn't by me and I look around, but I

can't see anything because there is too many clothes and people in the

way.

"Are you lost?" She asks me while I look around.

"I can't find-" I get cut off by Alpha's voice.

"Rose, you can't just run off like that! it's hard to find you when there is

so many people and perfumed up stores filled with racks taller than

you."

He walks over to me and suddenly I feel safe again. The red haired girl

looks at him and a weird smirk comes to her face,

"Hi, I'm Aggie."

Alpha smiles at her quickly before looking at me again as I walk away

and go over to a bunch of dresses that would fit me.

The girl continues talking but he ignores her and walks over to me,

"You like these dresses?"

I nod my head yes as I grab a green one with white on it.

"You want that?" He asks, I just nod my head yes again — I don't want

to talk to him, I'm still mad.

He grabs it from me and goes over to a tall counter like thing. I watch

him as he pulls out money and hands it to the red haired girl. He then

comes back with the dress in a bag and a soft smile on his face.

We walk out of the store and he walks over to a set of doors. "Here, go

put your new dress on.” He says smiling and handing me the bag. I

grab the bag and head into one of the doors to see a bunch of sinks

and doors along with toilets.

I come back out and hand Alpha the bag with my jeans and butterfly

shirt in it before my stomach growls.

"You hungry again?" He asks, I nod my head no but my stomach growls

again.

"I think you are.” He chuckles and I cross my arms over my chest.

"Well I'm not."

"And so she speaks finally!" He smiles at me. I cover my mouth with my

hand and glare at him. He chuckles and starts walking over to a line of

people.

He turns back to me, "What do you want to eat?" I don't answer.

"Do you want a corn dog? Icecream? A muffin? Chicken nuggets?”

I look around for a moment as he stares at me, I finally answer.

"lcecream.”

Alpha thinks on it for a moment before he says, "Let's get chicken

nuggets and some icecream as dessert.”

After waiting awhile Alpha hands me a strawberry icecream cone while

he eats a chocolate one. We walk over to a bench and sit down until

our icecream is gone and then we walk over to a little arcade room.

I run over to a game to play but a boy a little older than me pushes me

out of the way and I fall down.

"Hey!" I yell at him, he turns around and laughs,but stops when Alpha

walks over and asks, "What's so funny?"

Alpha looks at the boy and the boy runs away. Alpha then picks me up

and looks behind me, "Want to play a game with me?" He asks walking

over to a table game made for two palyers.

I sigh and decide too.

After every round I won! Alpha keeps getting annoyed because he

keeps losing.

"I won again!” I smile.

"I let you win." Alpha says frowning. "Nope, I won fair and square!" I say

sticking my tongue out at him, he puts his hands up in defeat and we

head back to the car as it's getting dark out.

When we get in the car and alpha starts driving I start thinking about

how much fun I had with him. Maybe alpha isn't so bad after all, maybe

I shouldn't be mad at him.

While he drives I finally tell him, "Alpha, I'm not wad at you anymore, I

forgwive you." He smiles and looks back at me, "I'm sorry I made you

mad, princess."

After he said that I yawned and started to fall asleep as he drives down

the road in the dark night.
