Author's POV

Sitting in front of the mirror clad in a red bridal lehanga and a whole lot of jewellery.A hopeless romantic who used to dream about marrying man's she reads in books, is going to marry with the most handsome, humblest person in the world, who love her insanely and unconditionally.

She rubbed her heart to breathe in some air,the door of my room opens and mummy and papa entered the room with smiles on their faces.

Nidhi has tears in her eyes,she is unable to stop her tears from looking at shreya,but she is trying her best not to spill any tear from her eye.

Vijay's feet was stuck near the door , he is unable to come inside even after wishing , he saw shreya from the door and couldn't able to control his tears.

"maa, papa .....you both want to spoil my makeup.The makeup artist has gone and baraat is going to come here and you want to cry and make me cry too."

They hug her and kisses her forehead and smiles.

"you are looking so beautiful."

"I know it.... You are looking less beautiful than me today, that's why you are crying so much today."

Everyone smiles after listening to her because they know very well why she is doing all this and they understand the emotion inside her very well, so they smile at her lame joke and slowly leave from there.

diya and Vedika was present in her room and was getting some selfies with her. Just when they hear the sound of drums which means the procession has arrived.

They gave a teasing smile to shreya and immediately goes to the balcony.

"Today I agree that pairs are made only in heaven... Brother-in-law is looking very handsome and I am telling you the truth if brother-in-law was not getting married to you , then I would love to kidnap him."

Shreya wants to see viaansh immediately but she knows that nidhi  has absolutely forbidden her to look at him so she can't do it even if she wants to.

Viaansh had called Shreya before leaving his room and told her to make a video call want to see her in her bridal attire, but Shreya did not listen to him, due to which he got angry and hung up the phone at the same moment.

Just then Diya's eyes shine when she looks at Rakshit, who is looking only at diya while dancing, he smiles lightly, and Rakshit immediately signals her to come down there.

Diya turns to vedika and Shreya, they both know that Rakshit must have called her down, and both of them signal her to join him she quickly runs away.

"Just go."vedika runs to the balcony, diya has also gone down, As soon as diya reaches down, Rakshit immediately pulls her to dance with him.

Viaansh looks towards the balcony where vedika is standing. vedika shouts loudly and tells Shreya."Shreya, your groom is going very crazy, it seems like he will immediately come inside and take seven rounds of holy fire and quickly pick you up in his arms from here."

Rakshit and diya are dancing without any worry. They don't want to stop but everyone asks them to stop and go inside.Nidhi comes and stands in front of Adhyay carrying the platter of Aarti, Viaansh immediately gets off the mare and stands in front of her, and touches her feet.

Viaansh can very easily see the slight wetness in her eyes,She applies tilak on his head with tears in her eyes, Viaansh smilingly hugs her, everybody comes inside.

Viaansh is sitting on the stage with his friends and cousins, They all laugh at Viraj's silly jokes except for Viaansh because his eyes are in front of from where Shreya will come in a few minutes.

His thoughts came to a halt when the whispering around him increased in pace. He looked up and saw his bride entering the mandap. His eyes met hers which she averted instantly but his eyes didn't seem to leave her.

He kept ogling at her until she settled beside him. He scanned her face for any sign of emotions

His staring came to a halt when he felt a nudge on his arm."Bhai I know Bhabhi is looking beautiful but you should listen to Pandit Ji right now he is asking you something" viraj said in a loud voice making everyone giggle.

Although Viaansh wanted to tape his mouth and throw him in a dark room, he looked at his bride to calm himself down.

She couldn't believe that she was marrying such a beautiful person and she pinched herself to come out of her dream if it was one.

A smile was threatening to come out on her lips when her eyes met his and she averted her eyes.Soon, she settled beside him.

Viaansh knew very well that Shreya as a bride would look very beautiful but he did not know that by looking at his bride in front of him, he would lose his all senses completely like a crazy man.

As Shreya is getting closer to viaansh, her heartbeat is increasing a lot. She knows very well that viaansh is not taking his eyes off her at all, this thing is bothering her a lot.

Vedika hit her shoulder to her shoulder and said softly in her ear." Shreya Iswear, I am telling you, this man is not taking his eyes off you right now, I am telling you the truth, God knows what will happen to you tonight.

Shreya looks at her friend , vedika laughs out loud with her hand on her lips, Shreya's heartbeat has increased, even moretelling you the truth, God knows what will happen to you tonight.

Later, they both did all the rituals as asked.Throughout the rituals, viaansh felt like just looking at her, and it was getting hard for him to resist his desires.

For now, he just wanted to sit in front of her and look at her. He so wanted to make everyone else disappear and look at her, capture that beauty in his eyes.

Avni comes and ties her dupatta with a long cloth and puts it on the shoulder of viaansh and whispers "may your relationship be filled with lasting love and joy."

They stood up to take the 7 vows around the holy fire .

In the first phera, the groom says "I will provide welfare and happiness for you and the children that we bear and you shall offer me food and help whenever it is required. In response to this, the bride promises to be responsible for the complete household management.

In the second vow, the groom says that together, we will protect our children and home, and the bride in return promises to stand with her husband as his strength and courage. She pledges to rejoice in his happiness and in return, demands him to be loyal to her.

In the third vow, the groom hopes for a wealthy and prosperous future for both of them and their children. The bride responses by giing an assurance of staying loyal to her husband and putting every other man in her life as secondary.

In the fourth vow, the groom declares to the bride that she has made her life complete and promises to respect her. He hopes for their children to be obedient and noble. He also hopes for a long life of their children and expresses interest in striving for their education. The bride promises her husband to shower with joy and happiness and do everything possible to please him.

In the fifth vow, the groom calls the bride his best friend and a well-wisher. He thanks her, and asks God to bless her. To this, the bride promises to love and cherish him all her life.She says that his happiness and sorrows are now her happiness and sorrows. The bride promises to the groom to honour him and strive to fulfill his wishes.

In the sixth vow, the groom says to the bride"Now that you have taken six steps with me and I am delighted. Would you promise to fill my heart with the same happiness for the lifetime?" To this, the bride promises to be by her husband all her life. Together they pray to seek the blessings of God to bestow them with a long and healthy life that is replete with peace and prosperity.

In the seventh and last vow, the groom declares "we are now husband and wife, and now we will stay together for eternity." In its reply, the bride says that with God being the witness, she is now his wife and says that both of them will cherish and honour each other forever.

After the pheras they settled back.

"Now fill Sindoor in bride's hair partition."Pandit Ji said viaansh took a pinch of Sindoor in between his thumb and middle finger.

His eyes met shreya's eyes finally, he tried to find any resistance but there was none. Her eyes filled with nervousness, maybe sadness of leaving her family behind. And red hue covering her cheeks due to their proximity.

He leaned forward and filled her partition with Sindoor while some of it fell on her nose and a drop of tear fell from her eyes."It's a good omen. Their married life is going to be full of love." Pandit Ji said.

It made shreya and viaansh smile inwardly.

Happiness is clearly visible on viaansh's face, while sadness is clearly visible on Shreya's face. It is not that she is not happy with the marriage, but she is very sad that the family with which she has spent her 25 years, today she will suddenly leave them.

He tied the nuptial chain to her neck and said softly in her ear."you made me the happiest man alive by being mine together." And kissed her forehead.

Shreya and viaansh are taking everyone's blessings, this time they are standing in front of  and bowing down touches his feet. Kishore pats on viaansh's back and says loudly."Show me the face of my great-grandson or great-granddaughter as soon as possible, that's my only blessing.

The whole atmosphere reverberates with the hooting and the whistles, even those who had sadness on their faces have laughter on their faces now, Viaansh does not say anything but gets embarrassed after listening to his blessings and shreya's condition is even worse.

Rakshit comes to Kishore and puts his hand on his shoulder and tells him."Right now the daughter-in-law has not even gone to the house and you want a grandson or granddaughter, your pressure will ruin the life of the girl. Why should only girls have to bear the burden of every responsibility or elder's wishes?.... Give her some time to adjust herself... I am clearly saying that if anyone's words hurt my sister-in-law, then I will fight with anyone for my sister-in-law ...... don't be like a daily soap drama's father-in-law..."Everyone is smiling, but they agree with what Rakshit said.

Diya  is fascinated by hearing him, there is an assurance on his face, diya likes this side of his, she is looking at him while smiling and Rakshit also turns his face toward diya with a jolt and looks at her and immediately winks."Jerk..."She says but with a smile.

Nidhi is standing behind Shravya spreading her pallu, Shreya without looking back throws rice with a heavy heart, and nidhi collects that rice in her pallu. Maahir is standing in a corner shedding his tears while hiding from everyone because he doesn't want to cry at his sister's farewell in front of his parents. Because he wants to increase the support of his parents in every situation and does not want to weaken them by crying in front of them.

After a few minutes, Vijay gestures to maahir, he immediately moves toward the car to make her sit next to viaansh.

No one can hold back their tears but like every time the daughter has to leave her home one day, it's Shreya's day.

Maahir  immediately closes the door of the car as this moment is too difficult for him and pushes the car forward to proceed from there to give blessings for her new beginning.

Viaansh holds her hand, she doesn't look at him but she knows he is here to support her in a very difficult moment of her life.She also held his hand tightly but didn't look out of the window again.

Rakshit, who had already sat on the driving seat as soon as Shreya sit in the car, immediately moved the car forward.Rakshit's eyes are still in the rearview mirror from where he can still see diya crying very clearly. He immediately diverted his attention and looked forward to concentrating on the road.

Viaansh takes her hand in his palm and rubs it lightly to silence her, but she sniffs regularly, Viaansh takes a bottle of water and gives it to shreya. she refuses, but he opens the cap of the bottle and makes her drink some water.

Shreya looks at him. He is not smiling but still, his face reflecting his happiness, viaansh wraps his hand around her shoulder and tries to keep her silent from her continuing crying.
