CHAPTER LXI

" are you sure you don't remember anything?" aunty yasira asked again

" no I don't " rahama answered with a confused look on her face " am I supposed to remember that? "

" yes you are " yasira nodded" I think I should call the doctor" she turned around to make her way to the door. The moment her hand held  the door knob, she was stopped by the sound of rahama's laughter she quickly turned with eyes wide open

" did I just fooled the almighty aunty yasira? " Rahama wiggled her brows " of course I  remember everything about the accident. Infact I'm still surprised that I survived it"

Yasira gasped " Did you just lied to me? " she was totally shocked. She made her way back to rahama's bed and raised her hand to hit rahama on her arm " I can't believe you got me fooled! "

" ouch! your hand hurts alot!. Can't you take a joke for once?"

" A joke? You called this a joke? " she scoffed " we all have been worried sick that maybe the fall you had might damage your brain and- and here you're joking about something like that in this kind of situation! "

Rahama felt bad" I'm so sorry aunty. I just couldn't help the expression you held when you asked about me losing my memory. I thought a little joke might brighten the day. I'm so sorry " rahama pulled the puppy eyes look.

Yasira sighed " you're forgiven " she smiled " but you almost gave me a heart attack"

" Sorry" she tried getting up from  bed

" what do you think you're doing ?" aunty yasira asked as rahama got up

" I need to use the restroom " she reply flatly

" oh OK. Please be careful or should I come and help"

" No, I can manage "

" OK " she nodded and waited for her.

The door to the room got opened

" Doctor she's here" sakeena finally rushed in with the doctor behind her. She paused when she saw only aunty yasira " where is she? "

" She is in there " she pointed at the restroom

" ahhhhhhhhhh" sakeena squealed happily " she finally woke up?!"

" yes she did " aunty yasira reply with a smile

The doctor couldn't help but smile at the duo. He admired the love this ladies have for rahama

"  I think I'm not needed anymore then" he smile

They've long forgotten the doctor not until he spoke.

" thank you so much doctor"

He chuckled " please don't thank me. It's all Allah's doing. I'll take my leave now but promise to come later to check up on her"

" thank you once again" with that he left

Rahama finally came out of the restroom" why are you two shouting like small kids?" she rolled her eyes

Sakeena ran to hug her " you finally woke up! I miss you! "

" There, there" rahama patted her back " Mama is back"

Sakeena hit her slightly " hey, I'm not your dog so stop patting me like one "

" OK girls, enough with the hug. Rahama I think you should come sit , you're still not strong enough "

" Aunty yasira is right " sakeena nodded agreeing with aunty yasira

" but I'm tired of sleeping. I want to see sadiq " she pout then sat on the bed

" I've already given him a call. He is on his way now same with your dad"

" uhm OK " she smile shyly

" is someone really blushing ?" sakeena teased

" of course she is blushing. Can't you see how her face is already turning scarlet " aunty yasira teased even more.

" please stop it you two " she covered her face .

" Stop what? " sakeena asked pretending to be oblivious of what she is talking about

" just stop please"

They burst into laughter all over again " I wish sadiq was here to see your red face"

" you two are the most annoying set of human being I've ever known " she scowled and folded her arms

Sakeena tongue out at her " but you still love us "

" do you know that you don't appear as someone that just woke up from coma? " yasira said in wonder

" for how long was I out? "

" It should have been the fourth day today"

" Wow" she mumbled in bewilderment " so I've been sleeping for three and half day?!. "

" surprisingly yes. Here you are ,acting healthy than we expected. We thought you're going to loose your memory as per what the doctor had said. You hit your head pretty badly. I'm very happy that it didn't happened "

" Thank you so much for all the prayers. I wouldn't have survived it with out you all" she said almost in tears " when I saw the car coming so fast, the only thing I could thing about was I was leaving so many wonderful people behind. I thought my time on earth had finally come to an end and I don't want to die yet. It so happened fast for me to think straight nor to move. I know this is a miracle work of Allah, I know he wants me to live again. I know this is a second chance given to me to correct all my wrongs and I'll cherish every moment of my day from now henceforth. I'm so happy to be alive" she wiped the tears.

" I miss you alot dear " yasira pulled her in for a tight  hug " I miss you so much"

" Thanks for loving me aunty " she winced a bit when the emotions were getting too much for her to handle. She held her head in pain " I'm feeling dizzy"

Yasirah became alarmed " what is happening to you rahama?! " her eyes were wide in fear as she saw rahama's eyes rolling back

" CALL THE DOCTOR SAKEENA! "

" please what happened to her doctor? " sadiq asked scared shitless

" you have nothing to worry about. It's just a minor issue. All she needs right now is some rest. Please you shouldn't stress her too much since she just woke up.

" OK "

" if you promise to do as I say, you've got nothing to worry about "

" Thank you so much doctor"

ONE MONTH LATER

Yasira almost in tears as rahama walked down the stairs in the beautiful pink gown she gifted her.

" you look so beautiful dear." she gushed " I'm definitely going to post this pictures on my status" she said as she dropped the phone on the chair.

Rahama giggle " you better not try it if you don't want to see sadiq's wrath. "

" That boy with his troubles again "

They were interrupted by the honk of a car

" He is here" rahama said breathlessly

" Calm down, you look beautiful. "

" i-i just can't believe that this is going to be our first date after the accident. It feels different especially now that I have this scar on my face "

" please stop saying rubbish " yasira scolded " you look beautiful with or without the scar. The scar isn't that obvious and Sadiq  loves you more with all the scars you think you might have "

" I know, it's ju-st it's just.........

Aunty yasira chuckled" I think now I know what the problem is. All I see is a girl who is nervous.I don't know why you are. You always see sadiq everyday since the accident.Then why is today different ?"

" because it's our first date after the accident "

" just keep shut already. Enough with the meaningless excuses. I better go and open the door before your impatient fiance breaks it down for me." she hurriedly went to get the door " hide " she whispered to rahama before opening the door

" Finally" he exhale loudly " I thought you don't want me inside "

Yasira rolled her eyes " just come inside already"

He followed behind her and didn't missed a chance to glare at her head. Why is she rude all of a sudden?.

" Why are you rude to me today?"

" because you want to take away my partner in crime " straight to the point

He smirked " never peg you to be the jealous type "

" I'm human, I have all the right to be jealous " she said flatly

" so where is the love of my life?" he asked looking round the room"

Auntu yasira rolled her eyes " you've changed alot "

" how do you mean by that? " he asked quizzically

" The sadiq I once knew is never a love sick puppy as the one before me. "

" Is that a bad thing? " he asked cocking a brow

" nope " she shook her head " Not at all. I actually love this new side of yours more than the one I knew before. I thought you are going to end up single because of your lack of interest in women . Your mind was only set on one thing back then and that was vengeance,but you turned me wrong when I started noticing your interest  in rahama. I'm so happy for you two"

He smile " yeah you're right. I never thought she will be my better half. She is my life aunty. I don't think I'll be able to live without her. The air that I breath, she is always in it. She is my walking stick ,my everything".

Yasira laughed " OK, I've heard you. please take good care of her "

" I will. I promise"

" Good. Let me go get her for you"

" Finally "

Yasira shook her head at him but nevertheless went upstairs to bring her down.

They parked outside the venue. Sadiq got down and ran to her side of the door. He held it open for her.

" Milady " he bowed

She giggled softly " Really? Sadiq you're something else"

He loves listening to her giggles " Have I told you that you look so beautiful? "

" of course, more than ten times already "

" then let's make this the eleventh time"

She blushed deeply " we better get going. They might be waiting for us"

He cooed softly " is someone trying to change the subject"

" please stop. Let's get going " she dragged his hand

" OK" he said with a pout " you are no fun"

" yes I'm not. Start moving "

They walked hand in hand into the Garden. It's a new hangout place known as " love garden ".Today, Sakeena clocked 26 and planned to celebrate it with family and friends .

As the two couples enter into the venues, they were first greeted by camera men. It was as if they were attacked by paparazzi. Wouldn't blame them, after all they both came from popular rich family.

" This people are crazy" sadiq whispered

Rahama kept smiling as they continue snapping their pictures " allow them. Infact I'm loving every bit of it. I feel like a model right now "

He chuckles " yeah right "

They were finally done with them so they  walk to join the rest inside. They exchange pleasantries with people they knew. The party has long began an hour before sadiq and rahama's arrival. Everywhere was just bubbling. They finally found a better place to sit. They waved at the birthday girl from where they were sat. The MC finally call down the birthday girl and her husband to dance.

" They look stunning together " rahama admired the pair

" Hm, same with us. We look good together too."

" Why are you being cheesy today" she asked with a soft smile

" I really don't know why but all I know is that I love this woman sitting in front of me " his eyes held so much emotion. They shine brightly as he looks at her.

They were lost in each other's eyes

" The first time i saw you on the road , the first thing that came to mind was 'she is so beautiful '. I was so drawn by everything that has to do with you.Your fierceness is the first thing that drew me to you . I  really don't know how!.I just can't stop thinking about you immediately you opened your mouth and told me off rudely that first day. I thought I hated you at first no until I realise that I fancy you alot"

" i-i don't even know what to say"

" Then don't say anything ,let's just enjoy the moment" he smile then took her hand and walked them to the dancing floor. He placed her hands on his shoulders " let's dance to the tone of the music. It's your favorite song after all " he winked

She hit his arm slightly then put it back on his shoulder " Ed Sheeran is a beautiful singer don't blame me"

" I'm also a beautiful singer too" he feigned jealousy and swirl her round

" is someone seriously jealous? "

" Maybe"

" Awwww,my poor baby don't be. " she pinched his cheek. He gentle swats it away.

" Look who we have here " Badiyya appeared from nowhere " I've been looking for you"

" Badeee" rahama squealed and hugged her " you look so beautiful . Where is sagir? " she looked around

" You also aren't looking bad. Sagir went to receive a call coz this place is too loud" badiyya told her

" ok" rahama nodded

" then go somewhere and wait for him " sadiq growled " why must you come here to disturb us "

She gasped playfully " I can't believe that my brother is driving me away! "

" just go"

Rahama glared at him " leave her alone"

" Tell him " badiyya tongue out at him " so you think you're the only one that want to enjoy rahama's presence? She is my friend and I have every right to stay with her "

" and I'm your elder brother , I have the right to command you. When I say you should leave, then you should " he glared

Rahama looked from one sibling to another with shock written all over her face

" hey ,hey, you two need to calm down. Please stop fighting over me. We can spend time together just the three of us, is that OK? "

" No"

" yes "

She groaned loudly." please just stop it already."

" Then tell her to go" sadiq pointed at badiyya

" Tell who to go? " a voice asked from behind

It's sagir

" Can you believe that my brother don't want me with his fiancee " badiyya pout

Sagir cocked a brow " I don't understand "

Rahama rolled her eyes " Sagir don't mind this two. They are being childish "

" Childish? I can't believe that you just refer me as childish? " sadiq pouted a her

" Does me wanting to spend an alone time with my fiance childish? " sadiq asked sagir who in return shook his head.

Sagir now got the whole gist. He turned to his girlfriend " I think we should let them be. Let's go " he whispered into Badiyya's ear

" what about me " she pouted

" You will have all the time with her later or don't you want to spend some time with me too? " he dragged her and they left the two lovebirds alone

" Good riddance " sadiq blew out a loud breath while rahama chuckles

" She is your sister fa? " she reminded

" I don't care. All I care about is an alone time with you, just the two of us "

Her heart swelled up in pride. She love this guy so much and she can't wait to be his wife. Just in a matter of one month

" I love you"

The court has finally made her decision. Hajiya Maimuna was found guilty and was sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment with hard labour for attempted murder ,same with her nephew who put the idea into her head.

Mansir was found not guilty since he didn't participate with his mother. Luckily for him his father didn't filed a complaint against him about the stolen documents.

Mansir asked for everyone's forgiveness even though he knew that it will be so hard for all of them to forgive him.

As for Kamila, the last time he saw her was when he received a punch from Jafar. He knew he deserve the punch more than anything in the world. If he was in Jafar's shoes he will do more than a punch. But Mansir isn't still going to give up on his son. it was time for him to start a new life.

It was time to stop his wayward act. He do not want to end up like his mother,Who is now locked up in jail. All this hatred,anger ,jealousy and vengeance has to come to an end.

Mansir hugged his dad one last time " thank you dad for everything."

After his release, he made a decision to leave home and start afresh somewhere else .

Alhaji ringim patted his back " please abstain from illegal act. Learn from your mistakes "

" I've learned alot. That's why I need to go out there and hunt for myself. If sadiq could do that on his own then why can't I? " he joked

" I want to find myself again, especially now that I have a son. I need to do this for him. I want to set a good example for my child "

Alhaji smiled feeling proud of him" if you say so then. Don't forget, if you need anything don't hesitate to come to me or your brother here "

" yes, we're here for you" sadiq finally spoke up. He has been quiet all this while. It was so hard for him to come to terms with Mansir . All their feud needs to come to an end since Mansir himself asked for forgiveness

" Thanks alot brother " Mansir said with teary eyes " I can't believe that I've been living with so much hatred that I couldn't see the good in you. I'm definitely the worst elder brother  " he wiped his face

" I was blinded with jealousy. I always thought our father love you more than he loves me. I was stupid to even think that " his voice cracked " I'm terribly sorry"

Sadiq placed his hand on Mansir's shoulder " we are human after all,we make mistakes. Today I want you to know that I've totally forgiven you. I hold zero grudges against you brother same with rahama. She told me to tell you this too. I only need just two favours from you"

" what are they? " a confused Mansir asked

" The first is that you should attend my wedding "

" I wouldn't miss that for anything in this world " he told sadiq .

" Good then " sadiq smiled

" what is the second favour?"

" Marry Kamila "
