CHAPTERXXXVII

" As I've made mentioned weeks ago, the first four best students will be sent to the abdulbasit group of company and their names are.....

He carried on by calling the first and then the second person. Sadiq and Jafar  sat mute ,hoping their names will be among, after all this is what they have been waiting for. Even khalil couldn't stop praying to hear his friend's name. His eyes were  tightly close as the chairman was about to mention the remaining two students.

" and the last two are Jafar Abdul Aziz and Muhammad sadiq . Congratulations to you all. Next, I'll be calling the remaining six......

He went on and on with the list calling . The three friends couldn't contain their joy, they all wore a happy smile. It turns out that khalil came into the academy as a disguise  in other to pick the best  four participants with potentials and luckily he came across sadiq and jafar. He was immensely thrilled by how determined they were and then decided to join this two duo. Of course ,he later told them the reason why he was in the academy and now since his job here is done he was needed over at the company. Thank God for Jafar and sadiq, they will be going with him with an already vacant position waiting for them at the company .

TWO YEARS LATER

Crisis

That is the definition of the RINGIM GROUP OF COMPANY as of now.

The company has been facing alot of hardship and almost at the point of getting bankrupt. They have asked for help from other companies but the help wasn't still enough to bring them back to their feet and banks refuses to give them loan as they haven't settled their previous loan.

It all started two years ago. At the time , Mansir was suffering from rahama's rejection.Some fake investors walk into the company claiming they brought a big business proposal that will help widen the success of the company. Mansir couldn't comprehend whether he was under some spell by this people because he couldn't remember when he gave them the account details of the company nor when he signed all the papers presented to him. All the papers infact held his signature and before he could realize what he had done, these 419 people had already withdrawn almost all the company's money.

Since then, Mansir wasn't himself anymore. He couldn't do his job adequately. He is now a depressed man. First , it was rahama's  rejection and next the fraudsters. When this first happened ,alhaji ringim wasn't aware of any of the happenings, it was already too late when he came to know about it . Since then, Alhaji has been looking for ways to bring back the company to how it was before since Mansir couldn't do anything . Alot of workers  had already left  because it was hard to pay their salary.

Alhaji weeps almost everyday anytime he sees what Mansir was also turning himself into. Mansir isn't his usual self anymore, he now drinks, do drugs and does so many ungodly act which a father will never wish for his child to do. Mansir is  now becoming worst to the extent that he now threaten his father.  Even his own mother hajiya Maimuna is scared of him too.

Mansir dragged himself out of bed. He groaned loudly as he realized that he was having serious headaches from all the hangover. He walk into the bathroom and finally came out few minutes later fully showered.

He still makes sure to go to the office even though he isn't needed. His father had told him times without number not to step his foot into the office but he wasn't having any of it, he still makes sure to go.

He put on a grey T-shirt and a black trousers. He still makes sure to look good, wouldn't want all the ladies to run away from him same as rahama did. He spray some perfume and then walk downstairs .

Immediately he was down, he found his parent talking about something serious but when they heard his foot steps they stopped talking.

" you know, you don't need to stop talking just because you heard me coming " he rolled his eyes

" shut up. Don't you have any respect for us , Mansir ?"

" Respect you say?. Look who is talking about respect!. You yourself have no respect for your husband. Do you think I wasn't observant enough to know?. I'm not stupid mom, don't stand here and talk about respect "

Hajiya maimuna watch him in fury " are you talking to me? "

He snorts " of course I am. Stop behaving as if you care about what is happening because you never did. Shouldn't you be happy that I at least follow some of your traits " he smirk at his speechless mother and then look over at his father who couldn't believe what was happening before him.

Mansir had never stood up to his mother as he did today. This was so shocking for the two parents. They knew he had become worst but never expected it to be as this.

" oh come on, don't look at me as if someone died. I'm off to the office "

" don't you dare step a foot out of this house " his father growled

The said man wasn't even fazed. He turn to look at his father " or else what? " he challenged

" don't play games with me, Mansir "

" who said I was playing " he cock a brow

" I don't know what you've become. You are becoming a handful every blessed day . Don't forget that you put us into this mess and the least you could do is to find a way to repair what you made us lost but all you now care about is to talk back at your parents as if we were the cause of your own problems. "

"YES YOU are" he yelled " yes you are the cause of my problems. If you hadn't given birth to that bastard child of yours,Rahama wouldn't have left me. " he growled out with so much hatred

" what! "

" Yes, that good for nothing son of yours made me lose what I cherished most. He made me the laughing stock of the town. People no longer have respect for me all because of him. "

" Shut up your mouth you ingrate. That boy left this house just because he couldn't bear all the hate. Not once has he ever enjoyed my wealth . You were the only one that had access to all my company and everything that is of worth to me and all you did was to let that go to  drain!. All because you couldn't keep a lady and now, all you can do was to blame sadiq for what he has no idea of?. I don't even know the whereabout of my son. For five years now I haven't seen him and here you are blaming him for something you caused? "

" how stupid could you have gotten. It's not as if he ran away with rahama. Rahama is in her house, why don't you go there  and fight for your love if you call yourself a man!. I  regret ever allowing sadiq to step foot out of this house, I regret never performing my right as his father. At this point, I now know what to do. I will bring back my son home whether you like it or not. No one will ever regard my son in any ill way because I won't allow it to happen for the second time. "

" I should have done this long time ago . I will look for him and ask for his forgiveness as I should have done. I don't care what you or your mother says" with that ,alhaji  left for work,leaving Mansir and his mother in total shock.

Their father isn't  someone who begs nor apologize . This is actually a first.

Hell is about to loose.

The anger in alhaji Ringim hasn't yet wavers, he couldn't help but be filled with regrets. He has a reason for doing what he did to sadiq. He loves his sadiq so damn much. He wipe a threatening tears that fell. He park his car at a junction to get hold of himself. Few minutes later, he continue his ride.

Alhaji Ringim decides to pass along the ali Akilu road since the main road he usually passes through to his office is basically  on construction as of now. He  made a u-turn and was thrilled with the large building on his left . He never new some particular person was building such a nice company around this area. They surely will make sales because their is no company as big as that around here.

Although, the building is not yet completed but he was sure it will be completed in two days since their were many workers. He blames that on the fact that he doesn't follows through the area if not, he would have known. Who might the owner be? , he thought to himself.

This was the right opportunity for him. This particular person might help them from the crisis they are actually facing at the company. He doesn't mind if they come into partnership and he or she demands for 60%.As far as the company is brought back to life, he is good with that.

First, I need to find out who this person is.

Aunty yasira busied herself in the kitchen while washing the dishes . Her nephew's thought came to mind so she fasten up her dish washing in other to give him a call. He hasn't been calling and she was sure it's because he is very busy.

She was about  to arrange the washed plates, but unfortunately got startled by a sudden clearing of throat. She was lucky enough the plates didn't fall off her hands.

" I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you off like that " rahama rushed to her side

" please don't ever do that again. Do you want me to have  a heart attack? "

Rahama was sorry for what she did " I'm sorry "

Yasira waved her off " anyways what brought you here? "

" ermm I came to have a few words with you. "

" with me? " she asked with a cock brows

" erm yes"

Yasira resume to her dish washing " OK. I I'm all ears"

" i-i - I just erm want  to apologize " rahama stuttered

" apologize for what exactly? "

Rahama heaved a sigh " can you please  listen to me for a second "

Yasira appeared surprised " then what am I doing before? "

" please aunty yasira I begging you with Allah ,please forgive me. I know I have wronged, insulted and disobeyed you even. Please can you find it in your heart to forgive me. I have tried all possible ways for you to see that I was sorry but your attitude towards me never changes"

Yasira turn her full attention to rahama now " and whose fault was it? Ehn? Are you trying to blame it on me? "

" no.. no, that isn't what I meant! . Please aunty yasira, I have missed our time together. I agree I was stupid to let Mansir deceived me,i was totally stupid no doubt about that. Can you please  find it in your heart to forgive me. I shouldn't have raised my voice at you"

Yasira took a deep breath " you totally surprised me. I thought you were wise but that day, I notice that you weren't wise at all. It was as if the rude rahama was back and that got me totally shocked. I would have vouch my life that, that isn't the rahama I knew. It was as if you were kind of possess or something "

" I know aunty yasira. There is no day that passes that I don't regret what I did, you can ask sakeena or even badiyya about it. They will tell you how down I was. You don't even want to look at my face, I was like a trash in your eyes and it was so hurting. I can't keep living like this, it's two years already aunty Yasira. Please find it in your heart to forgive me"

" i-i don't even know what to say"

" please aunty yasira "

" promise me you will never do something like that ever again"

" I promise "

" and lastly, you must answer this question"

" what is that? " rahama was all ears

"Do you love sadiq? "

" i-it two years already

" don't stutter, rahama. Yes or no?"

Rahama was mute for a while

" yes, I still love him. I love him immensely "

That brought a wide smile on yasira's face " I knew it ."

" am I forgiven now? "

" of course dear, you are" she went forward to bring rahama in for a tight hug " I also miss out time together "

Rahama chuckles and relax in the hug
