I knocked on her door and waited for her to open it.

It took Sylvia less than 20 minutes to get ready.

We sat in silence for a few minutes, I observed as her leg shook, letting me know she's nervous.

"Are you okay, Blue? You're making me nervous" she asked slightly chucking but I saw the concern on her face. I sighed and looked at her.

"Blue, just be honest with me. Is this about the Michigan thing? You're not staying?" She asked and the worry in her voice made my heart ache.

"Sylvia I love you, but I'm not in love with you. You're a wonderful friend, my best friend even, you let me vent about many things to you including Abby, you let me come into your house at anytime of the night because you know I don't like sleeping alone. Shit you even ruined your relationship for me, for us. We've laughed, cried, danced and so much more. You have taught me so many things and I will forever be grateful. I never thought I would admit all this, but I'm happy I just did.

I sniffed and bite my lip as I looked away from her. A few minutes that felt like hours had gon by.

She grabbed my hand and interlocked our fingers. "Already forgiven. I love you too" She whispered smiling at me. I smiled and kissed her hand.

We laughed at our inside joke. After we calmed down, we just stared at each other. I would be lying if I were to say there wasn't any sexual tension in this car. She cleared her throat.
