A rays of sunlight leak through the blinds while assaulting my eyelids. I took a hold of my cozy blanket while enveloping myself into it like a warm hug. All I wanted at this moment is to just sleep for the thousand years due to lack of my sleepless nights. Just then..

***Tringggggg***

Arghh...Damn this alarm...I woke up by switching off the alarm.

I got up from the bed and sauntered to my gym, did my routine.At sharp 7am, I stepped into the washroom to get fresh up.

After that, I decided to have my breakfast which is always a black coffee with my best friend veer. Because, after I left India I never had a better food in my life and whenever I ate outside food I had vomitings. So, it's better to have a coffee rather than to eat that unhealthy food and make myself unhygienic.

Veer is my Bademama and Badimami's only son. We both are diaper buddies and he knows me inside out. Ten years ago we both came to NY for higher studies, while studying we started frigate company together at a young age. We both worked like a robot from then and at last we achieved our dream. Now, we are ruling the whole world with just a snap of fingers.

Knock..

Rahul (shouting): Abhi, Have you woke up? yaar, open the door.

Here comes, my other annoying friend.

It's Rahul Agarwal.

He stays with us and eats our brain with his craziness from our childhood. We have to bare with his antics because he is my cousin wife's younger brother and our other best friend too. So, we have to endure him.

Knock..

Rahul: Abhi, open the door!! Yaar, why did you lock your fucking door?

"Ha...Idiot...I am coming...Can't you wait for a while" I shouted while opening the door.

Rahul(Mischeviously): Why did you take so much time to open the door? And why the hell you are locking your door now-a-days? Ayyee...Ayyee...you are maintaining secrets from us tell me my baby boo.

"Rahullll" I yelled in irritation.

Rahul: Don't get angry my baby boo.

"Rahul, Don't you have any other work to do other than annoying me with your stupid nicknames" I glared at him.

Rahul(In Hurry): It's because I love you so much my baby. Yaar, My stomach is grumbling. I forgot to have my breakfast. I am going downstairs and Abhi come fast. You have a meeting to attend.

He looks like a waggish person, but actually he is so sensitive and an introverted person. He only shows his funny and sensitive side only to us and no one else. He only says those funny things to me because he wants to see a smile on my face but it won't appear till I go home.

Huff...

I scuttered downstairs and saw an eating Rahul. He is one heck of a foodie. I went to prepare my black coffee. After a few minutes, I came back with my coffee and sat beside him. Veer came down with a tired face just like me. We don't have time to take rest because I am the chairman and veer is the president of the frigate empire.

Veer: Good morning Abhi.

I nodded my head and he sat opposite to me and served the breakfast.

"What meeting I have to attend" I asked Rahul while sipping my coffee.

Veer(serious): It's nothing. I will handle it, but you have to complete the remaining work so that Rahul & Jai can handle the rest.

"Okay" I said blankly and went to the kitchen. I washed the cup and placed it in its original place.

Veer pov:

I completed my breakfast and headed to the kitchen and saw my friend who is busy in placing his cup in its original place.

He is a perfectionist, he wants everything to be perfect. Everyone says that he is a cold and arrogant person, but only I knew why he become like that.

Abhi(Coldly): Okay then, I am going to the office.

I came out of my thoughts..

"Wait, At what time we are leaving to India so that I can complete all my meetings" I asked him.

Abhi: At 4pm and no need to worry, I already ordered the pilot to get ready the jet.

In the meanwhile, Rahul came to the kitchen.

Rahul(Fake sad): You both are leaving me in this whole hell and going to our homeland.

"Shut up Rahul" I said in a serious tone.

He shut his mouth and Abhi left to office.

Finally, we are going to our home. It's been 10 yrs, since we last saw our family..our home..our lovely home.

Abhi pov:

I hop into my sports car and drove to my empire. I entered in my Armani suit where everyone in the office is greeting me not with respect but with fear. I love to see fear in their eyes except for my sweet family. I went to my cabin which is on the top floor of the building and called my assistant to my cabin.

"Send all the files which I have to check for next 6 months and call the finance department manager to my cabin" I said in my cold tone.

Assistant: Okay, sir.

After few hours:

"You moron...Did I ask you to resume the project...Hmm..Answer me, you Idiot." I asked him blankly by masking my anger.

He stood there like a statue in front of me without speaking.

"Just get out of my office you rogue" I spoke as calmly as possible.

Man: s-si..

He has the audacity to talk to me back. My hands balled into fists and looked at him. He was frightened to even look at me. His eyes are filled with fear and was sweating badly. My eyes went over to his quivering lips, which were trying to speak.

" I am asking you again why did you resumed the project, which I gave you without asking my permission...hmm.. tell me, damn it." I barked at him like a lion.

I just wanted to kill this bastard into ash's.

"Are you deaf or what...Haa...just get out of my sight or I will strangle you with my own hands till you die" I chided.

Man: I-I...s-se

"Just get the hell out of my company" I roared at him.

Veer heard my yellings and came into my cabin.

Veer: What happened Abhi? Why are you shouting at him?

"Ask this filthy asshole."I shouted angrily.

Veer(pointing his finger at the man): Get out!

Now, that jerk has left my cabin and veer turned towards me.

Veer: You have to calm your temper. It's not good for you Abhi.

I am trying hard to control my anger from long, but it's not working. I drank a glass of water which is placed on the table.

"I am fine veer you can go now" I said with a small fake smile or else he won't go till I calm my temper.

Veer(doubtfully): Okay, If you need me just give me a call.

"Hmm" I said coldly and he left my cabin.

After that, my last day in NY went on being busy with my work and meetings. At 3pm I went to Rahul's cabin.

I entered his cabin without knocking and saw him sleeping on the table by keeping his head on his folded arms.

" He won't change" I muttered seeing him.

Whenever he feels tired he does this. I glanced around in his cabin looking for jai. He is our best friend. We three met him at university. He is an arrogant nerd who is always busy in doing different kinds of experiments and handling his work as CFO.

I walked towards Rahul to wake him up, but he didn't even budge. I wonder If there is an earthquake also he won't get up from his heavy sleep. As I was trying to wake him up, the door opened and jay came in. He looked at him and sighed.

Jai: This fucker is still sleeping. Huff! He slept when I left to meeting and he is still in his dreamland. Dude, he sleeps like a kumbhakarn.

"Yeah, you are right not only he sleeps like a kumbhakaran but also eats like him too" I commented.

Jai opened the small fridge which is placed in the corner of the cabin and took the water-bottle and drank some water from it. He glanced at me with an evil smirk and splashed the chilled water on Rahul's face, making him jerk from his sleep.

Poor Rahul..

He looked perplexed at first, but later realisation sink into him and shouted at us.

Rahul(yelling): what the hell bro! Are you guys insane or what? Who throws a chilled water at a sleeping person. I will take revenge on you both. Just wait and watch.

Jai(Shouted): Stop it Rahul! Who the hell will sleep in working hours. If the CEO of the company was not following the firm rules, then why the hell will employees will follow them.

"He is right Rahul you should have some conscious about your position. I know you are tired of those two projects that doesn't mean you can sleep whenever & wherever you want. If you will do like this again I will remove you from the CEO position" I said sternly.

Rahul(sighed): Do that yaar, then I can happily fly to my country and will have fun with our pumpkin & Hani.

Jai: Leave him, He won't change. Veer has already handover those projects to me which we have to complete by the next year.

"Okay! And Rahul, I brought the paper work which you have to submit in my absence, so check them once and do the remaining formalities" I said coldly.

Jai(smiling): Oye, finally you are going to meet your family so atleast smile now, Abhimanyu.

Rahul(Teasing): Naah...Jay...He won't smile until he meets her.

Veer(joking): Guys stop it, you all know he never smiles so why you guys are always at his back. Even if he does, it's only a very small one.

Veer jested at me while walking into the cabin. I glared at three of them and said icily.

"Veer, I think we should leave now" I said coldly.

After a nerve-racking day, we both finally got freshened in our own personal room in our cabin and directly boarded in our private jet and left for India. Finally, I can meet my lovely family.
