Argh!!

Bhabhi: Choti, hop into the car. We are getting late. We are there for you.

If he says something then we both will save you from him. Now don't get tensed.

It's not like he always scolds me..

"I am not tensed and Bhabhi, you are talking like he harm me...by the way, he only scolds me when I do wrong. So I didn't do anything bad then why would I be afraid of him...waise my Abhi is not that bad like you people are thinking" I said.

Bhabhi: Ok...Ok...your Abhi is so sweet...happy now! get into the car.

She said annoyingly. I didn't care about her and hop into the car....After sometime we reached home and went inside and saw everyone sitting in the hall chitchatting with eachother except maa...

"Papa..where is maa" I asked him.

Badepapa: she is in the room...

I nodded my head and straight away went to the room. I saw her sitting on a rocking chair, lost in deep thoughts.

"Maa" I called her. She didn't respond to me.

"Maa..." I again called her shooking her with my hand she jerked out from her thoughts and looked at me.

Maa: ha choti..

"Aap kya soch rahe hai maa...are you not feeling well.." I asked her with concern.

Maa: I am fine choti...bus..teri aur abhi ke bare mein soch rahi thi.

I looked confused...she rose up from the chair and went to the cupboard and grabbed an album from it...maa sat on the bed and I too went to her and sat on the ground near her legs.

She placed the album on her lap nd opened it...and as soon as I glanced at the photos a smile crept on my face while looking at the childhood photos of Abhi & bhai..

Abhi was looking so cute with his adorable smile plastered on his face. He is not the cold whom I saw when I first met him.

The Abhi whom I saw in photo is completely different. He was planting the sapplings in the mud at the farm with a wide grin while his eyes were sparkling with happiness which I had never saw him before.

I flipped the pages....in every pic he has a bright smile on his face...I looked confused at it...maa glanced at me and smiled sadly and said...

Maa: choti...I know what you were thinking....do you remember five years ago you asked me a question that why he was so cold arrogant & has anger issues.

I nodded my head...

Maa: now...I think you should know about him that why he became like that..

She paused and looked at Abhi childhood photos while caressing his picture nd said..

Maa: your phupha has an younger sister. Her name is Garima. At that time of Abhi's birth she is 20yrs old studying fashion designing. At that time your phupha & phuphi were busy in their work so they got less time to spend with him.. mean while Garima used to take care of Abhi and slowly he became fond of her. They both have a great bonding like a mother & son duo. All was going well till Abhi was 5yr old....but one day with out informing anyone Garima eloped with some middle class boy. She didn't even said a word to us that she loves some one who is lower to our standards. We are not against to it choti....at least she should had inform to your phupha but no...she didn't, instead she thought that we won't agree to marry her to love of her life so she eloped with him.

"Then what happened..." I asked her...

Maa: After she left...Garima absence affected Abhi so much that he started closing himself from the world. He doesn't used to talk nor smile. He was just like a robot. When ever we tried to talk to him he used to got furious and yelled at us. So, we stopped talking to him. Slowly he started detaching himself from everyone. He felt like he don't wanted to attached to emotions so he decided to stay away from home so that he can be safe from everyone by sheilding his heart. From that day he became cold, arrogant & temperament.

"But...maa...why didn't you all searched for her" I asked her.

Maa: we tried our best to search for her at every corner but couldn't found her choti....but you know what choti... he smiled for the first time after that incident when he saw you in the crib when you were six months old...That day your mother promised to your phuphi that my zoya will brighten your son's dark life.

"But maa I didn't fulfilled my mother's promise" I said gloomly.

Maa: you are already fulfilling it..

You know choti...he never shows his emotions infront of anyone except you. You know why...

I shook my head..

Maa: He saw love in your eyes for him that makes him believe that you won't leave him like his phuphi did to him and like us he too knows that you can't live without him...

Maa chuckled at me..

"Maa..." I whined at her.

Maa: he cares for you and loves you so much choti..

"But maa...when he loves me that much then why he always gets angry on me, scolds me and teases me so much" I said with a pout while she giggled at me.

Maa: he loves you that's why he does all those things with you..

"But maa...veer bhai, Kunal bhai, papa...they all never do those things with you all when they also love you all so much"

Maa: every relationship is not same like others choti and yours is unique from all....do you know what he said to me and your papa after your parents died.

I shook my head negatively...

Maa: He asked your papa that he wants to take all the responsibilities of yours and we didn't agree for it but he was so stubborn which made both of us to agree...your clothes, college fees everything you bought was from his money choti...he was working hard for you because he wants to give you everything. He wants to fulfill your every wishes.

"But maa...I don't want all those things and I want just my Abhi to spend some time with me.." I said.

Maa: why not you go and ask him instead of telling to me.

"Will he listen to me if I ask him" I asked her innocently..

She gaffawed at me...

Maa: have you ever asked him anything... except the cotton candy on the day of the picnic.

I shook my head...

Maa: then..from now make a habit of asking him what you want instead of going to your papa & phupha because in four days you are going to be his wife.

I looked confused..

Maa: This coming Thursday we fixed your marriage and from Monday pre-wedding rituals will be started and..

"And.."

Maa: you don't need to go to shopping because Abhi had already brought your lehengas and all with the help of your phuphi & I.

"Hayee...then can I see them" I asked her excitedly.

Maa: no Actually we thought to surprise you but seeing you crying on the engagement day Abhi told us to tell you before hand so that you won't cry later.

I smiled sheepishly at her...

Maa: tik hai chale..

"Wait maa" I said and she peered at me.

"Shall I invite Arjun to the wedding " I asked her.

Maa: why are you asking me...

"Vo maa... whenever I pronounce Arjun name...Abhi get's angry that's the reason why I am asking you to wether I should invite him or not" I stated....

Maa: choti... that's because he is possesive about you...he is feeling jealous about Arjun.

Ooo..sachii...he is jealous of Arjun.. because of his anger I never concentrated on his jealous feelings.

Hoyee!!

"I had decided to invite Arjun too" I said.

Maa: why choti...you know Abhi will enrage by looking at him...still you are inviting him.

"Maa...I just want to see his jealous face" I smiled sheepishly at her.

Maa: no... choti don't piss him off..

You know very well that his anger is uncontrollable and you should try to clam his anger instead of that you are trying to increase his anger...you naughty girl..

"Ok...ok...ok...I don't increase your would be son-in-law's anger by inviting Arjun...ok...waise Arjun will understand me very well so he won't feel hurt" I said.

Maa: ok...shall we go downstairs now...I think your Abhi will be waiting for you.

"Ha maa.." I said.

I smiled at her and we went to downstairs and saw Abhi. His face was dull.

What happened to him...may be the meeting didn't go well with the client...I was pondering..

Abhi: zoya...I am feeling hungry...

Serve some food for me..

"Hmm" I hummed at him and went to dining table and served him food.

Mean while my stomach growled making me feel shy and he looked up at me...

Abhi: why didn't you had your food when you are feeling hungry.

"You said that till you had your food I shouldn't eat it" I said.

Abhi: when did I told you..

" You didn't told me directly but you informed me through Anjali aunty" I defended.

Abhi(shouted): Aunty...

She came running to the dining table...

Aunty: what happened Abhi beta..

She asked him sweetly by at him. He glared at her and said..

Abhi: why did you said to her that till I had my food she shouldn't eat it.

Anjali(smiling sheepishly): I wanted your love life should be dramatic...so that's why I told her that you..

Abhi stopped her in the middle interrupting...

Abhi: It's not some drama aunty it's life...and stop watching those stupid dramas because of that you are becoming like this..

Anjali aunty( pouting): Ok baba..sorry.

She said while looking at me and i stick out my tongue at her and she left.

Abhi: Listen sweetheart, I never said like that...okay...I only told you to serve food for me because I like the way you blush while shyly serving food to me. That's the reason, why I always ask you to serve food for me.

So he likes when I blush...

Abhi: Don't ever stay with empty stomach till I had my food. Ok eat whenever you feel hungry and don't wait for me.

I nodded my head....

Abhi: Now, have your food.

He said and I quickly served my food and started having it like there is no tomorrow.

Abhi: Eat slowly or else you will choke.

"Hmm" I hummed at him.

Hehe he forgot about the restaurant matter. I giggled inwardly and peeked at him from the corner of my eyes. He is busy in eating while looking at the phone.

I quickly grabbed his phone and he glared at me but I didn't care because I don't like when someone use phone while eating instead I like chitchatting...

"Abhi, while eating we should focus on food not on phone" I commented.

He didn't said anything...after having breakfast he looked at me and said...

Abhi: waise you did a great job by teaching him a good lesson.

He praised me while grabbing the phone from me by giving me his heartthrobing smile to me. I instantly grinned at him and he left while chuckling.

Yayy...he praised me...

I with a wide grin on my face left to my room. I took a shower and wore my pyjamas and hit the bed due to fatigue I dozed off quickly.

Ummm...

I woke up feeling something on my feet. I jerked my leg back and fell asleep again, but this time my feet was giving me a tingling sensation. I yanked my leg again and turned around, after a few seconds, I felt like someone is licking my leg.

Oh...my...what is it....I quickly opened my eyes.

Hey baghwan...I let out a loud gasp, wondering if this real or a dream?

Oh...my...Hound!!

This dog is really looking like a hound...

How did it came to my room in the first place?

I got terrified by glancing at the gaint dog which is looking like a hound along with that they are small puppies too which are trying to lick my feet...

My body was started to tremble when a horrific feeling sink in me. I got up and sat on the bed with an anxiety when I remembered that I am the only one in this room.

All the "The hound of Baskerville" movie scenarios are playing in my mind. Like what if this hound like dog will come and eat me because it was looking at me hungrily meanwhile those small puppies were not stopping their licking my feet.

Arghh...I am scared of dogs...

Eee..I cried internally while sweat was forming on my forehead... and I glanced at my left side and their I saw Rahul bhai aka monkey holding two Pomeranian dogs in his arms over his chest and has an evil smile on his face...

When did he returned from NY..

Monkey(playfully): Hey pumpkin! How is my surprise?

He said while peering at the dog which was looking like a hound in front of me. A shiver ran through my spine and said...

"Monkey please send them away from me"I pleaded but he didn't listen to me.

Monkey: Look at these two little Pomeranians pumpkin. There are so cute na?

He said while bringing them towards me..

What cute...I hate dogs and I'm scared of them.

I got afraid and in an instant I rose up from my bed and started running and behind my back all the puppies and the big dog along with monkey chasing me making noises.

Hey bhagwan!!

"Ahh!!! Shoo them away from me, you Monkey" I shrieked while running.

Monkey (laughing): Why are you running away pumpkin? These two Pomeranians even want to give you a liplock.

He said while raising them up from his arms with his hands while running at my back.

"Eww!! Yaak" I yelled back at him feeling disgusting and continued running.

Those small puppies also sprinting behind me like the big dog chasing after me while barking..

Author pov;

Yesterday morning, Veer called Rahul and Jai to invite them to their wedding. As soon as they heard the news, they both jumped with excitement and packed their bags and left for India..

And the same happened to Dristi & Bulbul. Last night Zoya & Hani called their childhood best friends to invite them to their wedding.

Now:

Abhi was talking with Jai in the hall and, randomly his eyes shifted to his sister who was busy in arguing with his best friend Veer about god knows what. He shook his head smiling at them, thinking about his Zoya who not even open her mouth in front of him when he is around. Smiling to himself, he riveted his eyes from them to the entrance door.

There, two beautiful girls in twenty's were coming inside the mansion with a big smile adorned on their faces while giggling.

They were none other than Dristi and Bulbul..

They both looked at Abhi and smiled at him. Abhi, too gave a small smile back to them. Meanwhile, Jai was busy in ogling at Dristi like he never saw a girl before.

Dristi: Hii Bhai, How are you?

Abhi: I'm fine. What about you both?

Bulbul & Dristi : Superb!! Bhai.

They both chirped at him.

By hearing his words, Hani and Veer saw them and in a swift, Hani ran to their friends and started their ranting.

Meanwhile, all the elders came to the living room and started talking with Jai, Dristi and Bulbul.

All were engrossed in their chit chatting that they didn't even hear the barking sounds of dogs.

Misti(queried): Where is my brother?

Misti inquired, making all the family members wonder at the same time, Abhi heard his sweetheart's voice as well as the barking sounds.

Before, Abhi is going to analyze what is happening, he felt his sweetheart jumped on him, which made him caught off guard of his sweetheart little gesture.

Zoya pov:

"Aaaaaaaaa.....Abhiiiii" I screamed as soon as my eyes fell on my devil and jumped on him not caring about anything except to save my life from that puppies especially that bloody Hound.

Due to my sudden gesture, my Abhi stumbled a bit, yet I didn't care because all I care about my dear life right now.

I started climbing on his feet to wrap my legs around his torso like he is a tree. By doing this, those puppies and that hound won't able to touch my legs while hugging him tightly.

"Abhii!! Abhi!! Save me from that monkey and from those puppies too, mainly from that dog which looks like a Hound" I cringed in his chest jumping up and down.

He instantly snaked his arms around me while chuckling at me, however,  I was so busy in gripping him tightly to stop my jumping, which caused me to miss that charming smile of my devil which I'm so fond of, from the day I noticed his dimple laugh.

"Pumpkin, these too Pomeranians want's your kisses " Monkey jabbered, while laughing hard by gripping them high.

"Ahhh!! Abhi!!! please tell him to keep them away. You know na, I am afraid of dogs. Please...shoo them away" I squealed and again hid my face in my favourite place that is his muscular chest and was trying to climb on his feet.

My devil quickly grasped what I want,  and in a swift, he wrapped my legs around his torso and held me in his arms protectively like I'm his baby.

Obviously,  I'm his baby...his baby doll..his sweetheart...his Babe..his soon to be wife.

Hoyee!!

I came out of my trance by hearing his euphonic laugh.

My beast was laughing out loud along with everyone who present there were also joined him.

I am dying here and they are all laughing at me. Mainly my devil..How can he laugh at me along with others.

Abhi(cooed): Calm down, Sweetheart!! Don't worry, I won't let anyone touch you. You know very well that I never allow anyone to even come around you, then how can you expect that I will let them touch you.

Veer Bhai(scolded): Rahul....why are you teasing my little sister? Keep them away. You know na, she has a cynophobia.

Monkey: Oww...Veer!! I know about it. I was just playing around her.

"Shut up, Rahul!!! Send them away you are scaring her."

Someone shouted at Monkey and I am not in a position to look at the person who he is.

Monkey: But, these Pomeranians want's to feel her beautiful soft hands on them.

That foolish Monkey guffawed while taking a step forward, however, my Abhi stopped him.

Abhi(suppressing his laugh): Rahul! Enough. Don't you dare to come near us or else you know the consequences very well. And, you better shoo them away right now or else I will kick you where the sun doesn't shine.

My Abhi fake snapped at him because I know he is controlling his laugh. I can feel it as I have been in his arms.

Idiot!!

Monkey: Pumpkin! Today you got saved, but don't think that you will be saved every day by your devil.

"H... A-Abhiiii" I squeaked in perturbation.

Abhi(yelled): Rahull!!

Monkey: Ha...my name is Rahul only. I am shooing them away don't scream.

After a few minutes..

Abhi: Oye!! They are gone. Now, come on..get down, Sweetheart.

He whispered softly caressing my hair with one hand and kissed my temple affectionately.

"Promise" I mumbled into his neck.

Abhi: Ha Promise.

"Pinky promise" I murmured into his chest again.

Abhi: Haan..Sweetheart.

" Naah...Not this stupid promise. I'm talking about our special Pinky promise that we used to promise to each other na..that promise" I again whispered in his crook of neck.

Abhi: Haan..Sweetheart..I'm promising you that special pinky promise only.

He said lovingly and kissed on my head.

"Okay" I said, peering around and didn't find any puppies & that big dog. I stepped down away from him while tucking my hair behind my ear shyly realising that I brought a huge commotion in the mansion due to that foolish Monkey.
