I sighed softly to myself as I left P Jes's home. I knew that Teresa was hopping mad. She didn't want to tell me who that girl was too, but I sensed it was someone close to P Jes at least. However clearly, someone that Teresa didn't like.

I got home around midnight, took a shower, changed and was just in bed surfing IG when I saw P Jes's social media handle. I decided to just take a look at his posts and then realized the same girl I had seen him with appeared in a post that was dated 2018. In that post, he was holding onto her and had captioned it "With all of my love, for my love. #2ndyearanni".

I realized that girl must have been P Jes's girlfriend. I suppose she was still his girlfriend going by how intimate they had seemed but Teresa was very convinced her brother was single.

I just continued scrolling through the photos and then finally kept the phone away about an hour later. I decided to get to bed as I had a long day tomorrow too.

The next day, post my filming commitments around 6pm, I checked my phone to see a message from P Jes, rescheduling our shoot for Saturday at 2pm, having cleared the schedules with my manager and his.

I replied, saying it worked for me. Saturday soon came around, and we did the shoot. Knowing his style, I didn't ask to see the photos this time. We got the shoot done in about 2 hours. I went off to change while P Jes got to work on transferring the photos. I think he was still a little scarred from the last time when he had lost it and so was working hard to make sure it was safely transferred and saved now.

I came out to see P Jes deep in work. I grabbed my bag and went towards him. "P, shall I wait for you? We can go home together."

"It's ok Net. I want to get this done and a friend is coming to pick me up so it's all right. You can go off first."

Just as I nodded and was going off, I heard P Jes's phone ring. He picked it up and was speaking softly away. I figured it must be his girlfriend. Just as I was about to exit the studio, I saw Teresa driving in. Shit. If she was here to pick P Jes up, she would flip if she found out that his ex girlfriend was coming.

I quickly ran in and grabbed P Jes's arm! He looked at me startled.

"Call her. Tell her not to come. Tell her you meet her another day or something."

"What are you talking about, Net?"

"Your girlfriend. Call her P. Tell her not to come!"

P Jes looked at me stunned and before he could ask anything else, we heard Teresa calling out to him. It then hit P Jes on why I had done that. He quickly stood up and I turned, determined to stall.

"Teresa. What are you doing here?"

"Hey Net. My mom told me to pick P Jes up on the way post his shoot since it was near my work place. What are you doing here?"

"We had our shoot rescheduled. We just finished it, and I was asking P Jes if he wanted to grab dinner with me before heading home."

"I see. Damn, I should have called before coming then."

"It's ok. You can go home with P Jes since you are here. I will see you around, P."

"Net!"

P Jes called out to me as I was about to walk off. I turned to look at him and he smiled at me warmly, thanking me. Teresa thought he was thanking me for giving up on our "dinner" plans but I knew better. I just smiled as I nodded, and went off.

I heaved a sigh of relief as I got into my uber, glad to have prevented a fight between both siblings. I still didn't know the exact story but knew that girl appearing around Teresa will be trouble for P Jes. And if I could help him, why not?
