RECAP
Rafael looked over to Alaric and got up. "He made good on part of it. My heartbeat's back. I'm alive. It doesn't feel like I have that little voice in my head anymore." He paused, chuckling. "I'm free." His smile then dropped and looked over at Landons body. "Landon should be back by now." He stated.
Alaric walked up to Rafaels side. "Yeah. That's not our only problem." Alaric commented, taking Rafael down to his office, opening the door to the weapons rooms and revealed Hope still trying to wake Kate up but failing.
Hope looked up, seeing Alaric now with Rafael. Rafael only seemed more confused. "I don't understand. What's wrong with her?" Rafael questioned Alaric.
"We're not sure. But she won't wake up." Alaric explained, Hope turning back to look at your unconscious figure.

"I know we've been through a lot in the last few days. Well, months, really." Alaric started speaking at the assembly. "Okay, uh, it's been a rough couple years, to be honest. And I wish I could say the worst was over. But no matter what comes next, I firmly believe that we will be able to get through it if we stand united as a school, a community-" Alaric was cut short.
Alyssa cleared her throat as she got up, all the students looking at her besides Hope, Lizzie and Josie. "Sorry, just for clarification, does 'our community' include your daughter, who murdered me and held the entire school hostage to stage a grotesque display of black magic power?" Alyssa questioned, earning chatter fill the room from the other students.
Hope and Lizzie look at Josie who only dipped her head in embarrassment and guilt. "Josie is back to normal and safe." Alaric responded.
"Thanks to Hope and Kate." Alyssa fired back. "Speaking of Kate, I'm noticing she isn't here at the ass crack of dawn like the rest of us. So much for unity, I guess." Alyssa continued, crossing her arms.
Alaric leaned on the podium. "Kate, I'm sure you all can understand, was hit hard by what happened to Landon, and she's just taking some time for herself." Alaric explained the lie they had all come up with to tell the school instead of saying what actually happened to you.
Wade then stood up, raising his hand slightly. "Speaking of, how is my boy Landon?" He questioned, Alyssa sitting down.
Alaric turned his attention Wade. "Getting Landon back is my top priority, and I won't stop until I do. And that would go for any one of you." Alaric responded, Wade sitting down.
Kaleb then stood up. "Okay, so, what are we supposed to do now? And why are we all wearing gym clothes?" Kaleb questioned the head master.
"Something you haven't had a chance to do in far too long: be kids. I want you to remember what it's like to not have to worry about something you shouldn't have to and grow closer together in the process. Now, before you ask me how..." He trailed off and looked at MG.
MG then stood up confidently and turned around with a big smile on his face as he looked at the students around the hall. "As president of the Student Activities Committee, I'd like to welcome you all to the first ever Salvatore School Field Day. The buses are waiting for you outside. Don't forget to bring your smiles." MG explained, people standing up and clapping, actually wanting to go.
Lizzie started clapping a little bit after but didn't stand up. Josie only looked down, not wanting to do any thing while Hope just watched MG. Students then started leaving the hall, Hope, Lizzie and Josie going their separate ways.
Lizzie came out of the assembly room with her back-pack and ran down the hall to catch her father. "A freaking field day?" She complained as she walked behind him. Alaric didn't bother turning to look at his daughter. "As in an entire day spent in an actual field. That's your plan to get everyone to stop looking at Jo like she's an ax murder?" Lizzie questioned her father, whispering the last bit.
"Have you got a better one?" Alaric asked his daughter.
Lizzie then smiled, jogging to get in front of her dad and stop him. "I'm so glad that you asked. Based on my own personal growth, I have created a seventeen step approach." Lizzie then went into her bag and pulled out a large book.
"Elizabeth, I have got time for exactly one step, and that involves you looking out for your sister while I deal with Landon and Kate, among many other things." Alaric explained, sounding already stressed for the day.
Lizzie then lowered her arms when she realised he wasn;t going to take it. "Dad, that's impossible. I'll have to deploy the nuclear option, which is me backsliding to using my mean girl bully pulpit to persuade everyone to forgive and forget all the awful things that Jo did. And I'm just not that person anymore." Lizzie rambled.
"Lizzie?" Josie called out as she turned the corner, balls in her hand but she came to a stop when someone did a spell to make her trip over. This only caused laughter from the students around, especially the ones that did the spell.
Alyssa then stopped behind Josie, her little clique with her as well. "Oh, careful, witches. Don't let her catch you laughing, or she might snap. Your necks, that is." Alyssa joked, earning laughter form her friends.
Her group then walked off, Josie moving to get up. "On second thought..." She then turned back around to face her father. "...let the games begin." She smirked.

Alaric was now back in the room that held Landon and you with Rafael and Hope. Hope was sat next to her while Rafael and Alaric stood next to each other. "We have to keep this between us. The rest of the school can't handle knowing Kate is down, too." Alaric stated, not taking his eyes off of you.
Hope then looked up from you to Ric. "What do you think's wrong with her?" Rafael questioned.
"The Necromancer must have used black magic to take her out." Alaric replied.
Confusion was now written over Hope. "But wouldn't he also want to take me out? We're the same supernatural creature and just as powerful as each other." Hope explained, unsure why she was able to wake up. This earned a shrug from Alaric.
"Wait. I-I thought that the spell that you did to bring all of us back was unbreakable." Rafael recalled, looking over at Ric.
Alaric then looked over at Rafael, shrugging once more. "Yeah, I don't know how he got around it. But I know how to find out." ALaric stated, going to walk out of the room.
"Where you going?" Hope and Rafael asked at the same time.
Alaric then stopped in his tracks and looked back at Hope and Rafael. "To force some answers out of that pompous ass." Alaric stated, walking out the door.
Hope and Rafael looked at each other before leaving the room, Hope being the last one out has to shut it. Alaric now he his crossbow since he laid it near the door."Ric, if you're gonna do this, let us come with you, or if you don't want Rafael take me at least because I'm the witch here." Hope commented, both her and Rafael following Ric down the hall.
"Absolutely not." Alaric scolded.
"I know we need Kate, but we need you at the school, too, or we'll definitely fall apart." Rafael tried convincing the old man.
Hope then walked in front of Alaric, raising her hand that casted a spell that stopped him in his tracks. "Look, maybe you can just slow down and think about it for a second, Dr. Saltzman." Alaric glared at Hopes hand before making eye contact. "Rafaels room isn't big enough for three bodies." Hope concluded.
Jus then the doors to the school opened, Rafael, hope and Alaric looking to see who it was. Hope undid the spell, allowing Alaric to walk but they all froze once they realised who it was, The Necromancer. He seemed to be fighting himself. "You... you... you must deal with this lying, cheating, backstabbing miscreant." The Necromancer walked into the middle of the school, still fighting something.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." Rafael said, like he could see what the Necromancer was fighting.
"Get in there, you insubordinate little-" The Necromancer threw Landon into the tale near the couch, earning a grunt.
"Landon." Rafael stated, all though, Alaric and Hope couldn't see anyone.
Landon then turned around, letting out a deep breathe. "Hi." Landon greeted. Rafael then went to hug Landon but stopped once he almost fell to the floor. 'Sorry, bro." Landon apologised.
"Can somebody tell me what the hell's going on right now?" Alaric questioned, walking into the he room with a confused Hope.
"You can see him." The Necromancer stated.Curious. Perhaps because you were recently attached to me in death. I'm in possession of the phoenix's infuriatingly stubborn spirit. But the dark magic I was promised remains out of my grasp until birdbrain here returns from the dead." The Necromancer explained to Ric before turning to Landon
He then turned back to Ric. "Now all I need to do is drop him back into his body, and we can all go about our merry business." The Necromancer continued.
Hope crossed her arms over her chest. "So what are you waiting for?" Hope questioned.
"The little pillock won't come back!" The Necromancer exclaimed. Hope, Alaric and Rafael all shared the same look, confusion.

At this field day trip, it was actually going really well, everyone was having fun and doing what kids should be doing; having fun. "This is going so great." Lizzie commented.
"Right?" MG responded with a chuckle, a smile on both their faces.
"Except for whatever Wade's doing." Lizzie stated and turned to where Wade is, where he is just gently hitting the punching bag.
MG and Lizzies smiled disappeared as they tried to figure out what he was doing. "Uh, LARPing." MG concluded.
"Oh." Lizzie stated softly.
"As a fairy faction of one." MG continued. He then tried stabbing the punching bag. "Like you said, so far so good. But the real test will be when the different factions pick captains to start playing games together, with vampires, witches and werewolves on the same team for a change." MG stated, looking around at everyone.
Lizzie then turned back to face MG, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Before that happens, I just want to soak in this golden moment, when we both believed that maybe, just maybe, your plan would have worked." Lizzie commented, already doubting this plan will fail soon.
"It will, just give it time." MG responded.
"I can't. Not when Josie's reputation is at stake." Lizzie stated, getting her hand off of his shoulder.
"Okay." MG whispered, looking down. "Lizzie," He looked back up and chuckled. "I know this tone of voice. Please tell me what you're getting ready to do." MG pleaded, wanting to know so he could stop it from happening.
Lizzie then grabbed his hands. "Nothing that you or I will be proud of, so, like I said, remember this, and try and forget what I'm about to do next, okay?" Lizzie explained, knowing what she was about to do was bad.
"Li-Lizzie." MG stuttered, trying to stop her. "Lizzie..." He called out once more but Lizzie just kept walking.
As Lizzie approached the circle of witches, Alyssa was standing up and speaking. "If I'm elected as your captain, I want you to know that I'm only choosing witches for my team. Because unity starts in the coven. With one obvious exception we can all agree on." Alyssa aimed that last bit at Josie who only looked away. "So, all those in favor, say-
"Nay." Lizzie stated, cutting Alyssa off. Alyssa then let her arm fall back to her side. "Look, I know it has been a tough time, so I would like to remind you of a simpler one." She knelt down. "The way that things used to be. And what will happen if you don't vote for me as your captain." Lizzie then stood back up.
Alyssa glared at Lizzie. "Is that a threat?" She questioned, resting a hand on her hip.
Lizzie looked over at the witch. "Only to those dumb enough not to fall in line." Lizzie retorted, smiling innocently.
Josie then spoke up. "Lizzie, don't do this." She stated, getting up.
Lizzie let out a sigh. "That is so Josie. The same Josie that we have known for years." Josie only crossed her arms over her chest. "Okay? The kindhearted, compassionate, considerate Josie. The same Josie who would stick her neck out for any one of you." Lizzie stated, proving good points.
ALyssa then cleared her throat, earning a stern look from Lizzie. "Don't!" She ordered. "Yes, she messed up. But you've been messed up your whole life, and we have all had to deal with it." Lizzie fired, earning a harder glare from Alyssa. "So, with a gentle reminder that I know where you all live..." She stated randomly. "...who votes for me?" She questioned, everyone putting their hands up beside Alyssa and Josie.
Lizzie then smirked at Alyssa. "I truly appreciate everyone's support. And for my first pick as captain? Josie." She walked up to her sister and wrapped and arm around her shoulder.
"Cool." Alyssa commented. "Because MG told me I get to pick the game." Alyssa recalled, tilting her head.
