RECAP

"I'm guessing Alyssa Chang wants to teach me a lesson." Alaric responded. "But it doesn't explain why Kate is here." Alaric continued.

Lizzie cocked her head to the side a little. "For what?" She breathed out.

"The miseducation of young minds." The familiar voice of Sebastian stated.

You three looked back at him. "Sebastian?" Lizzie asked, happy and confused why he was here.

"Hello, Elizabeth." he greeted, walking down the stairs. "Fancy meeting you here." He continued, Lizzie turning back to stare at her father.

Landon is jumping on a mini trampoline trying to fly. "Fly. Fly. Fly. Fly." He repeated.

Wade was stood in front of him. "Try flapping your arms." Wade suggested.

"Superman doesn't flap his arms." Landon angrily stated.

The fairy shrugged. "Well, Superman's an alien, you're a bird." Wade stated, getting to the point.

Landon stopped bouncing and was now standing on the trampoline. "Yeah, well, you didn't know you were a fairy until yesterday." Landon fired back, anger laced in his voice from the lack of success. "Don't be smug." He finished, continuing to bounce.

Wade shook his head. "Look, I know I'm just your stand-in friend until Rafael gets back." Wade responded.

Landon came to a stop again. "What?" He questioned, confused.

"But why is this so important to you?" He continued his sentence, ignoring Landons question. "So what if you can't fly? No one here flies." Wade continued.

"Look, I... I believed in you. Can you be the one person here who believes in me?" Landon questioned Wade, generally wanting the support.

Wade let out a sigh. "All right." He mumbled while looking down.

Landon then turned to look at the school, looking at the roof. "Hey, do you know how to get a key to the roof of the school?" Landon questioned, turning back to Wade.

Wade had now looked back up, confused. "Well, I am the student security supervisor." Wade replied, slightly smiling.

"Of course you are." Landon commented. "Well, can you get it?" Landon questioned since he didn't get a response. "I think I just need to start with more height. You know?" Landon continued, bouncing up and down. "Thanks man." Landon got off the trampoline and patted Wades back as he started walking towards the school.

As Landon went to moved the trampoline, he heard flapping and looked up, seeing someone with wings flying in the sky towards school.

Hope had locked Alyssa inside the werewolf transitional cellar after finding out what she did. "Enough with the illusion spells, Alyssa. Tell me where the ascendant is." Hope ordered, getting impatient.

Alyssa was sat on the floor, doing yoga and didn't respond. "Why isn't my truth spell working?" Hope questioned herself.

Alyssa hummed, smirking slight. "Hmm, I guess that anti-charm potion I took is working." Alyssa stated, getting up.

Hope crossed her arms. "It is." hope commented. "Too bad you could use a little charm." Hope continued speaking, watching as Alyssa did a back-bend. "Enough with the games, Alyssa. Help me bring the Saltzmans and my girlfriend back." Hope ordered, her voice raised a little more.

Alyssa looked at Hope. "Why? So you can be the hero and save the day? This isn't about you, Hope." Alyssa questioned, continuing before Hope could respond. Alyssa then got up and started balancing on one leg. "Though, if I knew how annoying you'd be, I would have sent you away, too. Should've guessed you would've gone ballistic without Kate." Alyssa annoyingly stated.

Hopes blood boiled at the mention of your name. "How's this? You tell me where the real ascendant is, and I won't pluck your eyelash extensions out one by one." Hope threatened, just wanting to get the ascendant.

"Sorry, but, I don't negotiate with basic witches." Alyssa responded, placing her hands above her head. "So, I'm never telling you where the ascendant is." She then brought her hands in front of her. "Namaste." She finished.

Hope fake smiled and rolled her eyes, knowing she wasn't going to say anything, she stopped wasting her breathe and left the cellar.

She decided to clear her thoughts and go on a walk in the woods, but of course she couldn't get one moment of peace as she saw Landon and a winged person fighting.

Landon followed the flying human thing into the woods, getting ready to shoot Kaleb. "Phoenix Powers's, activate!" Landon stated, earning the winged humans attention.

The bird ran at the winged human and jumped into the air, bringing him to the ground, causing the bow and arrow to fall out of the winged humans grasp. "Damn, kid, get off of me!" He angrily said, smacking Landon.

Landon took a second to recover before, blowing feathers out of his mouth and gripping onto the wing. "Not so fast!" Landon commented.

"Ow, my wing! You idiot!" The person said, knocking Landon to the ground and grabbing his bow and arrow.

He started getting ready to shoot Landon. "No, no, don't-don't shoot!" Landon exclaimed scared as he tried covering his head.

The winged human then released the arrow, Hope decided now was the best time to take action since Landon was literally about to get shot and grabbed the arrow before it hit Landon. The winged person then stood up, watching as Hope glared at him. "Who the hell are you?" She questioned, anger still in her voice.

The guy laughed, throwing up his arms. "Really?" He questioned. Landon then moved to stand up, watching the guy as well. Hope brought her arm down, still holding the arrow.

————

Hope stood in front of the barrier spell, wiping the blood off of her very large scissor that she had used to cut the wings off this new guy. Hope has a blank expression while doing so much it was clear she was bothered.

The new guy groaned as he tried feel his wings. "You monsters." He groaned out, breathing heavily. "You have no idea how long it took me to grow those." He continued, hurt and angry.

Hope looked up from the scissors, still cleaning them. Landon just watching them. "Well, next time it'll be something that won't grow back," Hope commented. "unless you tell us why you're here." She continued. "Do you serve Malivore? Or someone else?"

"I serve the highest power of all... love." He replied like they were supposed to know.

Getting annoyed, Hope got straight to the point. "Where were you trying to take my girlfriends brother?" Hope questioned, glaring at him.

The guy was surprised. "You have a girlfriend? And that's her brother?" Hope tilted her head, the guy stifled a laugh but continued. "Uh, I wasn't trying to take him anywhere. He started it." The guy exclaimed like a five year old fighting with his sibling.

"Hey, no! He-He was flying around shooting people-" Landon started, Hope turning to face him, mouthing many 'okay's to calm him down. Hope handed the scissors and cloth to Landon, which he grossing picked up and placed down.

"Yeah, with love arrows they're harmless! Check the quiver. Every arrow in there only helps people express the love they already feel inside. Most people say thank you." He explained.

Hope glanced at the guy before walking over to Landon who was holding the arrows. "Why didn't you come get me?" Hope questioned.

Landon turned around and walked over to Hope. "Oh, I-I-I knew you were busy with Alyssa. I was just trying to help." Landon responded, still holding the arrows.

The guy laughed at Landons response. "A hero the likes of which I haven't seen since Hercules."

"Would you just stay out of it, please?" Landon questioned, both of them starring at the monster.

"Love to, thanks." The guy responded.

He turned around to walk away but walked into the barrier. "You're not going anywhere. That's a barrier spell. Think of it like a force field." Hope briefly explained.

The guy started walking backwards now. "Your sisters girlfriend's kind of impressive." He then turned to face them.

Hope looked away from the monster and looked up at Landon. "You're lucky that I found you when I did. Wade said that you were outside trying to fly?" Hope questioned in a disbelieving tone.

Landon nodded. "Yeah. It seemed more reasonable than it sounds coming out of your mouth."

Hope let out a soft sigh. "Look, I know that you wanted to help. But if you keep trying to be the hero, Kate is going to kill me one day and then she's gonna have to choose between saving you and stopping something terrible from happening. And I'm sure she doesn't want to think about what that day looks like." Hope rambled but was clear enough to get her point across. "I'm sure none of us are."

She then picked up and arrow. "What does this say?" She questioned.

"Uh, 'puppy love'. Well, that's the modern translation. In Greek it's more like-" He got cut off.

"Don't care. What about this one?" Hope questioned, wanting to get to the point as she picked up another arrow.

" 'Self love'. I call it the Narcissus."He responded truthfully.

Hope looked from the monster to Landon. "Still want to help?" Hope questioned, letting go of the arrow.

"Absolutely." Landon responded immediately.

Hope nodded. "Okay, think you can handle the Cupid problem?" Hope stated, already having guessed the monster.

"Hey, hey. What Cupid problem?" The guy questioned confused.

Hope glanced at him, rolling her eyes. "Exactly. Just watch him till I get back, okay?" Hope stated, earning a nod from Landon. "And if you want to prove that you mean us no harm, what's the strongest one of those you've got, to melt the coldest, bitchiest heart?" Hope questioned, having an idea about how to get you and the Saltzmans back.

The guy told Hope which arrow and now Hope was back at with Alyssa, she walked in, holding the arrow tightly in her grasp. She also had the keys to which she unlocked the cell door, opening it so she could come inside. Alyssa placed her legs down front he handstand and face Hope. "Don't tell me you've had a change of heart." Alyssa stated.

"No," Hope shook her head. "but you're about to." Hope raised the arrow up.

Alyssas expression darkened as she was now scared about what was about to happen. "Hope, wait-" Just then Hope stabbed her with the arrow. Alyssa groaned as she was stabbed in the stomach but Hope extracted the arrow, looking up to meet Alyssas eyes. She then started laughing. "Can I tell you a secret?" Hope nodded. "I have a crush."

Hope decided to play along, a smirk coming onto her face. "On who?" Hope questioned.

————

Hope went in search for MG. He saw her talking to Kim just outside the bathroom, questioning why he was in a robe but ignored it. "Kym! Hi. Just the girl I was looking for." She then came to a stop in front of her. "I-I need your help with some research on a new monster, Cupid?" Hope questioned.

Kym's face lit up. "Oh, my God. Cupid? Also known as Eros, depending on if you prefer the Roman or Greek mythology." She quickly took a breathe in, Hope raising her eyebrows. "You know what? I'll compile both. Uh, rain check, MG?" She grabbed MG's hands.

"Um, O-Okay." MG stuttered and started walking away to the library. MG then turned around to look at Hope. "What the hell was that, Hope? I had a whole date set up." MG exclaimed, a little angry.

Hope looked into MG's eyes, grateful. "Date? That-That's perfect. Okay, I need your help." Hope stated.

"With Cupid?" MG questioned, now confused.

"Worse." She said after a few seconds. Landon stared at her confused even more.
