RECAP

You had tears in your eyes. "Is Landon okay, Raf?!" You yelled the questioned.

Rafael started to cry. "I don't know, Kate." Rafael cried, mouthing an 'I don't know'. You looked down, holding back tears as he panted and you moved from next to him to standing up and pacing around the room.

Hope breathed out. "Okay." Her voice was low. "Do you remember where the woods were?" Hope questioned, obviously less emotional than you and Raf.

Rafael stayed quiet for a bit. "I think so." He whispered, you had a look of hope on your face. Rafael nodded. "Yeah, I remember."

You breathed out, happy. "Okay. Okay." Hope started getting up as she said that. "I'm gonna get one of the twins to siphon you out of here. We're gonna go find him." Hope then started walking off, leaving you and Rafael alone in the room.

Hope had gotten one of the twins to siphon Rafael out of the room and now you all were on your way to the place Rafael said Landon was add. You breathed was getting faster a little bit as you were scared for Landon. Rafael was leading the way, you behind him and Hope behind you, when Hope heard you she grabbed your left arm and turned you around.

Hopes face softened and she brought you in for a hug. "Kate, he's gonna be okay." Hope whispered, you hugged back and nodded, you had to believe he was. You both started walking again and caught up to Rafael.

You finally made it to the spot to see MG almost dead. "Hey. Dr.Saltzman?" Hope called out as you ran towards Kaleb, MG and Alaric.

Ric turned around and saw you three. "Oh, Hope, Kate, thank god you made it." Alaric seemed relieved.

You looked at his face. "What-What's going on?" You asked, you still slightly breathing heavy.

Alaric sighed. "MG has a werewolf bite. He doesn't have much time." Alaric explained, you all looked over at MG.

MG is whimpering so much. "Hey, hey. You're all right." Kaleb said to MG.

Hope looked from MG to the older guy. "Oh my god." Hope said.

Rafael looked at MG. "I bit you." He bluntly said, getting all the attention from you all.

"What?" Hope questioned, confused.

MG cried. "This is all my fault." MG stared at Rafael. "Raf, I'm so sorry." MG apologised, but for what?

Kaleb looked at MG confused. "What, sorry? What are you sorry for?" Kaleb asked MG as you turned around and glared at Rafael. "He's the one that should be sorry. He's the fool that bit you."

Kaleb started moving forward to have a go at Rafael but Alaric grabbed on to Kaleb to stop him. Rafael grabbed his head. "No, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, stop" Alaric said to Kaleb. "Don't move." He said.

Hope went up to Rafael. "Hey! Hey. Hey, what's going on? What's wrong? What's going on?" Hope checked over Rafael as he slightly lowered his hands. "What?" Hope asked. "Hey, hey.." Hope whispered.

Rafael stuttered as he placed his hands on his waist. "I remember now." Rafael spoke up, moving forward and looking down at MG. "The elixir. His face. Being back here..." Rafael started breathing heavily, you moved next to him and rubbed his arms, tears in your eyes. "I remember who the monster was. I was telling Landon to run but he wouldn't, then that roaring or growling started again but it was just MG. MG wasn't himself, he pushed Landon to the ground and started yelling at him." Rafael looked around at the group.

He breathed in and out, calming himself. "MG punched Landon and drew blood from him, i-it was on his hand and MG was trembling as he tried to hold himself back." Rafael kept explaining. "Me and Lan were telling him to fight it but he didn't and said how his dad told him he was a monster, that's when MG started feeding on Landon till he was dead." Rafael explained.

You moved from his side to hold onto a tree, sobbing as you fell to the floor. "No... no.. Landon..." You cried out. Hope came to your side on the ground and put a hand on your back while you just sobbed. You looked over at Hope as multiple tears fell. "He's gone.." You choked out.

Hope wrapped her arms around you but didn't say anything, knowing no words will do anything to mend your broken heart. "I did it. It was me." You heard MG say. "I'm the monster."

"When you finished your turn, y-you got loose and bit MG." You heard Alaric speak. You dug your head deeper into Hopes neck to you held back a sob as you kept thinking about Landon. "Watching Landon die was too traumatic, too human, so you reverted back and scrambled your memory." Alaric explained.

"I don't want to remember any of this." Rafael responded, then you heard footsteps walking away.

"Raf, where are you going?" Alaric had authority in his tone.

"Away from MG before I finished the job." Raf called back.

That's when you heard Kaleb speak up. "Hey!" He yelled at Raf.

Rafaels footsteps started to come back. "Landon's body is out there. I'm gonna go find it." Was all he said as he started walking off again.

Hope cupped your face, wiping the tears on your cheeks as you stared into her eyes. "I was so mad. I wanted to h-hurt Landon." You heard MG say, you glimpsed over at him and all you felt was pain because he killed Landon. More tears fell as you looked down, Hope pulled you in again and just held you. "I didn't want his bl*od. I needed it. I needed all of it. 'Cause I'm not a monster. I'm a demon. So many demons in hell." MG groaned out as he sounded like he was about to die.

"Okay, okay, all right, all right. Shh." You heard Kaleb say to MG. "Dr. S.?"

You felt Alarics eyes on you but soon they were gone. "Just... just give them a minute."

"But what if they won't-" Kaleb was about to protest.

"They will. They will." Alaric said.

You pulled away from the hug, wiping away your tears, breathing in and out to calm yourself down. You got up and Hope followed your actions. "Hope can save him. I'm going to Landon" Your voice cracked a little as they both looked at you. You watched as Alaric nodded, knowing you were hurt.

Hope sighed. "I need your knife." Hope said as she stared at Alaric and Kaleb. Alaric got up and took the knife out, handing it to Hope as she walked forward. Grabbing the knife she cut open her hand and placed her hand on MG's lips who gratefully started taking the blood.

You then walked off and followed Rafael to Landon, as you approached your hand was one your mouth as Rafael placed him on his back. You ran towards them and sat on the ground next to Landon. Rafael was crying while you were sobbing again. You grabbed onto Landons body and started moving hair from his face. "Landon, come back..." You choked out.

You put Landons body in your lap, holding your head on his chest as you let a couple sobs escape. "Oh, damn it." You heard Alaric say and another pair of footsteps approach.

You lifted your head and stared at Landons face before back to Raf. You then turned to face Hope and Alaric but you quickly put your head back on Landons chest, sobbing more. Two more footsteps were coming closer.

You lifted your head and turned to see Kaleb and MG, Raf started getting up. "Raf." Your voice broke. "Raf. Raf. Please, no. Raf." You called but he didn't listen, Hope grabbed his arms aggressively. "Landon wouldn't want this!" You yelled at Rafael as Hope turned him around. "He wanted us to be better. Give him that respect." Your voice cracked as you lowered it and Rafael nodded, you got up, gently placing Landons body and giving Rafael a hug.

MG then decided to speak. "Uh... am I still delusional or do y'all see this?" MG asked everyone in the group.

You and Rafael moved from the hug and looked down at Landons body that had smoke emitting from it. You let out a few breathes that sounded like sobs. "Put him out, Hope or Kate." Rafael told you two.

Hope reacted first. "Uh... Adiuuatur." Hope put her hand forward.

You stared at Hope. "It's not working. I... Wh-What's going on?" You held back a sob.

You and Hope stared at Alaric. "I don't know. I've never seen anything like this." Alaric responded. Landons body started to get smokier before lighting on fire. Tear fell down your cheeks as you were shocked, all of you are. The fire then put itself out and he was just stone or ash.

You held onto Hopes hand as a sob escaped your lips. "Damn." You heard Kaleb say.

You went to walk forward but Alaric grabbed your arm. "No. Not yet, not yet. I don't think it's over." You stared at Alaric.

You were confused why he'd say that but then looked at Landon. "What's not over?!" You replied, worried for what just happened to Landon.

Alaric looked at Landon. "We've been wondering if he's supernatural." Alaric responded. "We have out answer."

You and Hope glanced at each other. "What?" You questioned lowly but then there was crackling from Landons body and movement. You gasped as you watched the body move, you put a hand on your mouth and Hope rubbed your back.

Landon then started breaking out of whatever he was in and got up, starring at all of you. "What's going on?" He asked, confused. You stared at him with teary eyes.

Alaric was shocked and surprised. "You ever heard of the legend of the Phoenix?" Alaric asked as Landon breathed heavily.

A.N: sorry it's short, i didn't like the way this episode (all 3 parts) turned out but I hope you liked them. :)

also ep 14 is gonna be a difficult one to write so please do not hate on the way I write it :)
